Vibration - Change Pattern - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Is there anyway to change the vibration pattern for incoming calls or messages?
Vibration is loud when the phone is on my desk but I can't feel the vibration when the phone is in my pocket & I need to keep the phone on silent when I'm in work.

Sound+Vibrate on?

Is there a way so you can turn on the sound and vibration at the same time for incoming calls and/or alarms?
I noticed in the manual that you can only select between On, Vibrate or Off in the Volume control panel.
Thanks,
Lars
Edit the profile. Ring type options are:
Ring
Increasing ring
Ring once
Vibrate
Vibrate and ring
Vibrate then ring
None

Vibrate only on text message

I think i finally thought of a way to do this. On mango you cant have the ringer on and have only a vibration for something, theres always a ring. If you make a blank sound file and use it as a custom ring tone when the phone is on ring+vibrate then it will only vibrate for you.

Simple and stupid vibration question

It seams that I don't know how to set up my HOX to vibrate for SMS only when I put it in vibration mode.
When vibrate is on in SMS options it vibrates even if the sound is on.
There is also vibration for calls and SMS in the general sound settings but it also seems that the phone vibrates only for calls.
I just need it to vibrate when I put it in vibration mod.

A fix for horrible sound settings?

Is there any way (with or without root) to fix these idiotic sound settings?
If I set the device to silent it goes into Do Not Disturb mode which also stops me from getting ANY notifications on my Gear Fit 2 or other smart watches.
I want to get all of my notifications just like when the phone is in vibrate mode but I don't want it to vibrate. The vibration mechanism in this phone is super low quality and vibrates so loud on my work desk. Looking for a way to set the device to silent without turning on DND. I want notifications but no vibration.
Any ideas?

Vibrate intensity is low when a call comes or a push notification

Hello, I'm wondering why Vibrate intensity option has been hidden by Xiaomi on the settings?
My phone's vibrate intensity is so low when a call comes or a push notif. but inside the keyboard settings (GBOARD) there is Vibration strength on keypress and I can set the intensity the way I want.
SO please if there is any solution in order to make vibrate intensity higher don't hesitate to help me.
Thank you.
The Gboard setting is just the duration of the vibration pulse. An incoming call for example has much longer pulse (1s maybe?) and is still not strong enough, I have noticed. It seems we are just stuck with a weak vibration motor.
