I want to install a new, clean OS on my Android phone. My phone is a Huawei Ascend G700, the specs are here -> consumer.huawei.com/en/mobile-phones/tech-specs/g700-en.htm
Where can I find the ROM for this phone? The only ROM's I see are for the more "known" phones, like Nexus, or Samsung.
I would prefer to download the newest version of Android, KitKat or Lollipop. Now I have the 4.2.1 Android version.
If it is not possible to install the newest version, I want to download the clean version of 4.2.1. Does somebody know where to download this?
Thanks in advange!

Hello
I have a M2 801L - I recently upgraded the Firmware to Marshmallow on EMUI 4.0 using a guide (I would have posted a link but not sure if allowed on this forum)
I used the Mediapad M2 [M2-801L] B205 file.
My M2 8.0 is now running Marshmallow 6.0 on EMUI 4.0
Questions:
1. Can anyone suggest a suitable or best Rooting method with a Nougat custom rom update?
2. If I Root and Update my M2 what is the possibility of rolling back to either the original Lollipop version or Official Marshmallow OS?
3. How easy is it to Root and Update it to Nougat?
4. How easy is it to rollback from a rooted Nougat F/W to original official stock lollipop or marshmallow?
Also, now when I go to Settings > Update > Menu >
I seem to be missing the option for Local Update.
Having said that, what are my options in rolling back now that I am missing the Local Update option?
Hi,
I have an Xperia M5 E5603 which is currently build number 30.2.A.0.100 (Marshmallow 6.0) and want to downgrade it to Lollipop 5.1 or Kitkat.
I've used Xperifirm which is showing Latest Firmware build 30.2.A.1.21 - but I'm not sure which version of Android this is?
Can someone please help with the files I need to downgrade UK version? (not central EU, specifically UK)
Thanks!

Thanks! I got the 5.1 Nordic Generic firmware for this particular model and am on the Flashtool download page. I just want to check something so I don't brick the phone:
"C4 and C5 users please do not flash using Flashtool. It will brick the device. M5 users please do use FSC when flashing or it will brick your device."
What does this mean by FSC? Should I use the latest flashtool, are there any additional steps I need to take??
Thanks for the help

Hi all,
still got my z1c on Android 4.3, if I install an official update now, will i get android 4.4 or android 5.1?
I don't really want to install 5.1 unless I'd really need it and so far I only had problems with Onedrive on Android 4.3
And I want to keep the Lockscreen Widgets, are they still present on Sony Android on 4.4??
btw If I unlock the bootloader i'll get this DRM **** problem with the camera right?
Or is it possible to root the stock firmware?
Thanks
