Can I install custom ROMs for similar types of devices
To my device without rigging it.
I currently use HTC Desire 526G+

All are as easy as others.
For partitions, it's up to you which version you decide (A2SD+, D2EXT, D2WE).

I think our mobile & htc one mini has same configurations , then why can't we port htc one mini roms for our mobile
Desire 816 and One mini2 have several differences. the slightest difference in configuration makes swapping Roms impossible. a developer is needed to customize them for 816. we could use One M8 Roms too, but I've read that it's hard to do any of these things without S-off.
anyway, we have good custom Roms for 816 right now. have you tried them?

Could I flash a rom for the One Plus One to the HTC One M8 (I'm guessing no), and no I don't want to turn my device into a One Plus One I wan't to run a rom built for it.
No. You'd likely brick your device.
You flash roms made for your device. Roms from other devices need to ported to the M8 by a developer, or anyone who knows what they're doing.
So not a good idea.
I am using digiflip pro et701 and after rooting it ... I can't ring any supported custom recoveries or ROMs . can any one plz tell me how to flash custom recoveries or ROMs for unsupported devices plz .And thnx in advance
No custom roms available for ET701, even stock ROM is not on the internet
For recovery you can have temporary CWM/TWRP on Intel devices, search it up on XDA

Is it possible to get a list of all stock ROMS for HTC 526g+ (not 526g) in one place? I have one already. But I keep getting error 4032 with SP Flash tools (both linux and windows). So I was wondering if there is any other official stock ROM that I can try?
