Possibility of Flyme OS for the LG G3

I love the look of the Flyme OS, I've seen that it has been ported to the G2, so would it be hard to port over to the G3?

Flyme OS is essentially a reskined AOSP rom with some custom Meizu applications installed
Since Flyme for LG G2 is based on Official CM11 Sources, until Flyme OS is updated to a Lollipop base it will be very hard to make one for the G3 since theres no full CM11 source code

Ah, so if Meizu updated to Lollipop and developers started porting to other devices we could get FlymeOS?

Well once they upgrade Flyme OS to start using Lollipop AOSP people can just use offical CM12 source code from the github and bam people can starting churning out Flyme OS for most devices that have official cm12 support by the cyanogenmod team
I know for a fact MIUI is currently testing a MIUI Lollipop AOSP rom on the Xiaomi Mi2

Android 7.1

We've all heard fair and well that android 7 will be coming to the m9; any mentions of android 7.1?

No and I doubt HTC is going to release any further updates than 7.0. Maybe we'll see a CM/AOSP based rom with 7.1 sometime next year (or an HTC 10 port rom with 7.1)

No Nougat ROMs for our device?

The Original Dev forums seem to be pretty quiet apart from the Slim 7 test for M9. Any ideas if we are getting Lineage OS nougat ?
What about any other AOSP Nougat ROMs?

Will Lineage OS 14.1 be the last official LOS it will ever get?

The latest version is 15.1. I thought N7 would get 15.1 eventually, but now I get the feeling that 14.1 would be the last official LOS for it. Am I right?
If so, I would like to move to another custom OS.

What's 14.1 based on?

Its difficult to meet the charter of lineage which they began after 15.1 (oreo) for such old device.
But then, never say never. Two separate teams are working on it, lets hope we get official this time.

I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that LOS 15.1 with Oreo 8.1 is, in fact, running and working fine on my Nexus 7 2013 (flo), can't comment though on the LTE version as there may be other demons to trample on that one. I am amazed at how fast and beautiful the OS actually is.

There is currently a beta android 10 for testing now called havoc OS you'll have to join their telegram group because I'm not sure if they posted it to XDA also MSM xtended have released their last pie ROM update while they work on android 10 so be patient it's coming soon when all the bugs have been squashed and they make sure everything is working properly ...
