I'm looking to buy an LG G3 D858 (Dual SIM) and i want to know wich rom may be compatible with this version?!
And if i will loose the DUAL SIM capability if i move to another ROM?!

As far as i know there is no roms released for the D858 and please do not think flashing a rom for another variant will work because it will brick your device
And no switching to a rom specifically designed for the D858 (if it does get eventually released) wont remove dual sim capability since the developers account for it during development
I feel ya man, I saw this one today and I think it's awesome, but the fact that it has zero custom rom support is a total turn-off for me, since it'll mean I'm stuck with stock with no way out in later device life cycle.

so the seller will garantee everything works just fine
.... i was curiuos will i be able to do normal updates by wifi or pc .
and will my sim wil laways be working

what you mwan from germany? whera re you located.? you could update downloading stock firmware . the filesis called KDZ. i have tmobile in mexico unlocked for carrier and it works....
but what would happen if you get bootlopp.?? youll have to send it to USA for repair unless you willing to pay for service at your country... so if you live far away from usa.. avoif and get one from your country or the european one that can be bootloader unlocked..
i live in algeria ... so the h815 european one will work just fine ?

if you want to install cusstom roms get the one tha can be unlocked the bootloader.. not all h815 can be unlocked it depends of country.. if you dont care about unlocking get one from your country..

I recently got my Moto Z2 Force bootloader unlocked and rooted. I was messing around with a Quick Settings app and found a dual SIM settings. I was wondering if this phone does come in a dual SIM variant or if it could be made into a dual SIM phone I have the T-Mobile Edition.
The wizard was able to launch. the other settings shortcuts are not working they keep force closing.
You can follow the procedure for the Moto Z to modify build.prop and changing out the modem file for the dual sim variant.

I look through those links you gave me. I'd be willing to give it a try but there's no official TWRP currently meaning that there is no definite way back if I mess up. If there is dumped images I can Flash with fastboot to recover if something goes wrong I would be willing to give it a try.
The files for the modem are in the same location as the Moto Z and Z play also I need to figure out how I am going to get the second sim to be secured in the sim tray

The second method doesn't require modifying system files and everything is done via fastboot and adb. As far as securing the second sim, could you post what the sim tray looks like? My last Moto device was the Moto X Pure, which was stolen in the Philippines. If anyone in the Philippines wants to help me recover it, please PM me.

Usually Motorola ships their phones with the same sim tray as their international dual sim variants, except with the second sim slot covered up.
When I was messaging Motorola's support today they said the us version is single sim only but there is a different sim tray for the dual SIM version that is available outside the us. I still have to call in and verify over the phone and see if it can be ordered
So when I called in they said that there is not a dual-sim capable after it's been registered in a US Network and then they wouldn't answer my question if I could even get a dualsim tray so I guess I can't

In Italy we have carrier TIM which is selling single SIM (unlocked) @ about 685,00 €.
Unbranded are dual SIM in most of EU markets but prices are high and availability is low: in Italy Amazon sell them @ about 990,00 €, while on other EU markets best prices could be 850,00 €, rarely less....
I've got mine from a *very good* German seller on eBay... they still have one available @ about 715,00 € shipped which is a *great* price to date...
Hello guys.
I have xt1789 03 variant. It's a single Sim but I was wondering what if I put another Sim and give it a try.
I did and it detected another Sim as well.
It was working flawlessly but when I heard that some of the other variant roll out pie update and people are using it.
I try to flash the pie ROM and it flashed successfully but the problem I am getting now is that the IMEI I had on the phone shows 0
I tried to revert it back to stock Oreo and noughat but after flashing I got baseband unknown wifi and Sim signals lost. Even Bluetooth was not working.
I am wondering if there is a way That I could revert it back to Oreo or noughat so I will have the old baseband and working wifi and both the Sims.
Please help me out so I could get my Moto z2 force back to original condition.
Right now what I did for getting the wifi back I flashed the modem NON-HLOS.bin
I lost the sim signals.

Ok, thank you. I was affraid to buy the dual sim version due the lack of XDA support for that model. But, if the custom ROM`s are compatible, I will buy it.
Bought it in India. Used Indian Sim for a day before returning to Nepal at the beginning of lockdown. Not a single nepali sim carrier is working in it
same here. same error only works with indian sim. not even tamrakar people can unlock it they say.

The only solution it seems is to use the phone with indian sim in India and Bordering regions (for a some days, or maybe a week) and make few calls and SMS, which is impossible in this lockdown
