HTC M8 Bricked totally w/o Bootloader,recovery, nothing - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear all,
i think i have bricked my phone by trying to flash a RUU zip over sdcard - and aborting this process by pressing power and vol+ - i did it because there was no connection to pc and also the screen was totally black without any information.
When i connect the phone to the Windows now - i see the following screen in explorer:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Here the plugIn in the windows device manager - do you know why there is marshall london as a name given?
Further the usb controller
and the mobile devices overview:

As far as i know you can change the ril inside the app when you tap it, it should give a list with rils you should be able to install

[Q] Network connectivity problem on Lollipop non-root

I was on SkyDragon Sense ROM and got a bit tired of the lag or battery draining, so I've decided to use Google Play Edition on Lollipop 5.1. I saw this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706441 and follow the instruction carefully here.
Right now I'm running non-root version of Lollipop 5.1 and everything seems to be fine except I will have network connectivity problem when I'm on Wi-Fi or even just a cellular network. This is what I see when I look at the notification:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'm on Canadian carrier Rogers.
When I ran
Code:
fastboot getvar all
I see this result:

Did you verify apn was right? That really should be only reason why you'd be having network issues.. could also try flashing Rogers radio, may help a bit, but definitely thinking apn. Not sure on Wi-Fi tho as that's unrelated and it looks like you're already on gpe firmware, if not flash gpe firmware, the wcnss img in there should fix it.

I've checked my APN and they look correct after checking with Rogers's site. Where can I find Rogers radio? I have looked through in xda and found one but after I flash that one it doesn't seem to fix the problem here. I've also reflashing GPE different version from that thread and doesn't seem to solve my problem here. Do you have any other GPE non root version that you can suggest?

Please help with installing stock HTC WWE on Carrier branded M8

I have a carrier HTC One M8 Vodafone UK and would like a standard HTC WWE rom with ability to use just Carrier junk, wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction.
I tried to S-off using Sunshine but it says I need full root not temp root.
I am in the process of HTCDev unlocking the bootloader, so what next afterwards
I know I have to root and S-off but not sure what happens after.
Thanks in advance.

If you just want to get rid of carrier bloatware (I think that's what you mean), you could just flash a ROM such as MaximusHD without S-Off. That is pretty much stock debloated.
If you want to run WWE firmware because the updates are quicker than with carriers, and want to stay on the stock ROM so that you can update through OTAs, you'll need to change your CID and run the WWE/International RUU. S-Off needed.
If you want WWE firmware and a custom ROM, change your CID and flash a firmware package. You can always update manually this way and still faster than Vodafone will update. S-Off needed.

You own a One M7 and not a One M9. Therefore, your thread got posted in the wrong device forum. Head over to the M7 section. I'm sure they have a RUU collection where you'll find the correct RUU for your phone. Just search for a RUU with the same version number as the "version-main" in your fastboot getvar all output.
By the way, why are you mentioning an IPhone in the thread title? Is apple even supported on xda? :silly:
