U can check sensors details and their working via CPU-Z app.
I think all vibe p1 variants have compass as well as gyro,
But gyro sensor is oversensitive which is causing problem.
May be I wrong

You can also try the app Sensor Box for Android..it shows that Vibe P1 has a built-in gyroscope. I don't know if Lenovo is working on a fix to this issue.
Look at this screen shots...

I read the forum. I'm on Android. I don't know the Bada system but if the operating system does the same thing, then you may have somewhere, the option to calibrate the sensors in the settings option. Any more than this, I would opt to go back to your original os, until you've found out where to go on this forum.

How did you notice that? Maybe it's a bada 2.0 Bug...
Did you tried to flash Android on Bada 2?
Did you removed Android before flashing bada 2.0?
That is Android's fault and mainly user's fault also
Devs stated that sensors doesn't work in Android though you find people trying to calibrate them
WTH is the user doing by calibrating the sensors in Android ????
bada sensors calibration is screwed up
for motion sensor calibration try to put your phone on a horizontal floor and calibrate it with this code *#66225*#
for other sensors i don't know what you should do
Best Regards

Hey guys!
I tried to install 3D Live Wallpaper and well... it installed (on my xperia mini pro it didn't cos it lacks gyroscope) but it didn't work at all.... I also tried checking with Android Sensor Box from the Play Store and it didn't detect the Gyroscope so... Does this device actually has one? Could you please post your available sensors screen fromn Android Sensors Box? I'm scared my device is actually defective...
Thanks in advance!
Same here...accelerometer only.
Sent from my SM-T210 using xda app-developers app
Nope just accelerometer, light sensor, magnetic, sound, and orientation sensors. No gyro
I guess everybody thought this had gyro (even some serious tech websites) but checking on Samsung's website and some more recent specs, I learned that there's actually no gyro for any Galaxy Tab 3 7.0... Thanks for checking anyway

I own a HTC 820s. I realised that my phone is a lot off in level-ness. There used to be an option in the setting about the g sensor calibration (I owned the first desire) but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone else have a problem with this on their phone?
Setting - display & gesture - g senser caliberation

The desire 820s doesn't have g-sensor calibration in display settings, I'm having the same issue with the sensor with many apps (especially games) in which my phone feels tilted.
If there are other ways to reset the sensor like an app or so, that would be helpful.
OK... I didn't read ur post properly... I m using 820 dual sim & it has g sensor setting

That's weird... but I can't find the setting in my phone, I've updated to the latest update on my phone, and I've searched everywhere in the phone, but no luck...
Bumping:crying:
It's really painful playing racing games with your sensor tilted.
Using bubble level, it shows that my sensor is off towards the phone's bottom by 10°.
searched the phone all over again and still no calibration setting...
Can anyone provide any kind of solution?
Try installing various groups sensor calibrators from Googleplay store

Used GPS apps with sensor calibration, and apps with the calibration like labyrinth, they only work for the app itself, not the phone.
As the attachments show, the phone is still tilted.
heard there was a way changing a certain file, but I can't root my device, but I think there is a way to bypass the restrictions without rooting right?
i have the one woth 1 sim slot and i have sensor calibration lol
i am facing the same problem...is there any solution?

yes i am facing the same problem need solution
FOR HTC DESIRE 820G PLUS DUAL SIM USERS: CALIBRATE USING SETTINGS>LANGUAGE & INPUT>IN DEFAULT CHOOSE " HTC SENSE INPUT" (SUB SETTINGS WITH ICONS ON THE SIDE)>ADVANCED (More input settings)>Calibration tool and then try typing the letters. That's it.
Found the answer

Download mtk engineering mode and you can reset the calibration there. I have a 820s and I've used it to recalibrate
Hi guys, few days ago I started testing my op3's sensors with daily usage apps and sensor test ones.
So when using test apps for test orientation sensors like gyroscope or accelerometer the app shows that the device is constant moving, when it's leaning on a table too.
Could you test your op3s in the same way and let me know? Give me your opinion please, thank you.
(Excuse for my bad English)
Are you on Oxygen OS or on cm13? because I flashed cm13 on couple of my previous phones(Nexus 5 and Moto Turbo to be precise) and was facing the exact same problem. photosphere used to drift away even when the phone is stable and using a cardboard was a nightmare. It didn't resolve even when I reverted back to stock. rom I was looking for a solution and yet to find one. Just for this reason I am afraid to unlock and flash cm13 on my OP3.

I'm running Oxygen stock, and I have not problems using apps like streetview, whatching photospheres. The only way I have to find out this problem is to use sensor test apps. Does your OP3 do the same using one of those apps?
Could anyone try one of those apps on his OP3 and let me know?
Hi everyone,
So I'm thinking about switching from MIUI to a custom ROM, and I was wondering if it is possible to use the second camera with custom ROMs like Lineage or RR (or whatever ROM out there). I don't know much about camera protocols and as far as I know there is no standard one for dual cameras, so I don't know if just installing Xiaomi's camera on a custom ROM will take use of the second camera. (I don't even know if this precise camera app is installable from anything else than MIUI). Also, I've myself not encountered any camera app out there that can take advantage of the whyred dual camera.
Of course I can rely with some AI cameras for lens blur and portrait mode, but I don't know, I just don't like the concept of losing the utility of an hardware piece just because the software can't "afford" it.
Thank you for reading, guys.
Interesting question! And even more important, how is the quality compared to miui?
Have you tested it with open camera??

Mi A1 forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/themes/oreo-mia1-stock-rom-camera-app-custom-t3758543
It's reported working fine, except HDR. The feature is turned off by default, but don't take a photo with it being on or app will crash until you restart your device
PS. Please dive through the forums for answers, before opening a post.
Edit: can you guarantee, that your stock camera ain't just for show? I mean did you open it up and stick a multimeter to check?
Edit_2: pls don't try...dual camera are actually working, you'll notice a difference once you compare a stock MI camera app with GCam
And don't try sticking up a multimeter up your Mobile
You're Joking Right..

The phone in question is RN5 AI Dual camera, NOT Mi A1! Totally different phones. The AI comes with SD636 chipset, the Mi A1 with SD625 chipset. The ROMs are not compatible at all.

It is not a rom, he is telling you to flash.
But a Ported Mi A1 Camera app, that works across custom roms.
It will actually allow use of the Redmi Note 5 [WHYRED] dual cameras in manual mode of the app.
Also the AI in the device name, is used incorrectly by some sites. Not the official name or appendage for the device.
Edit: - Last time i checked, no one has ported the MIUI camera from RN5 yet.
