When I look into battery stats there is Process 99017. Anybody knows what that is? For me it's fine but my friend has much higher usage
Its a app that you have deleted after using it for a bit.

havent tried it, it seems to only happen when an initial connection is made.
my phone would do that every now and then even before the update. usually cycling the wifi off then on would take care of it, or i'd just leave it alone and it would take care of itself
Mine doesnt.
just did my phone and is fine not having that issue.
Just turn mobile data off

What cache cleaner are any of you using or suggest using? If any at all that is.
Thanks
Well if mine gets buggy I just fix permissions n wipe cache n dalvik via recovery
I use App Cache Cleaner. Pretty decent but also do what the above person does also.

How are you fixing permissions?

When you root and unlock you can have either Clockwork Recovery or TWRP and you do it through those.

I figured it was root related. One day I might root bit not right now. My last phone was all custom, it's nice to have a break from it. Plus I don't like this data issue with the current root. Maybe I'm miss understanding it, but for now I'm fine.
Data issue?

I guess the data doesn't stay consistent for some from what I have read on the root thread.

Same here, no issues.
I can't get MMS to work on any ROM using the stock messaging app. My work around had been using Handcent SMS, but I don't like their themes or interface at all. I've tried deleting the telephony file, but that doesn't work for me. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried, after deleting telephony.db, clearing data for the Messaging app?
Does it for me. If you haven't, try deleting the file again, then clearing the data, then rebooting. Shmreh?

... Really? Shucks. This trick has always worked for me.
I would suggest backing up and reflashing whatever you're running, but it seems you've already tried it on multiple ROMs...
Cross your fingers and do it again?

Have you tried switching out the APN file? And also a trick that sometimes works is to go into the messaging app > settings > scroll down and untick/retick the option Auto-retrieve messages.

I second this.
Darn'dest thing: I'm on the latest Liquid Smooth, and I can't get MMS either now! So, yeah, tried the telephony and auto-retrieve dealies.

I keep getting this pop up about every 30 minutes. I have no idea what it is or what's being scanned. I've attached a picture of what it looks like. If anyone knows what this is please let me know, thanks.

Have you tried Going into Settings/Apps/All/T-mobile Name ID? Force stop it, wipe cache, data & uninstall updates.
I hadn't done that yet but sure enough that fixed it. Cheers.
