Running this firmware with Twisted Edge Kernel v8
Running this now smoothly with no issues to report. Flashed with Odin v3.11. One issue is deep sleep reawake when aggressive hibernation is running Greenify Xposed-Boost - but that's only if you run Greenify. Seemed slower until security files were frozen like t-mobile Adapt, Security Manager, and Lookout - and other assorted bloat via Titanium Backup - e.g,. S-Voice, ANT-HAL, RoseEu, AutoSync.
* MEGA Link PF1 firmware for 925T
* TWRP 3.0.2
* SuperSU 2.76
* Twisted Edge Kernel v8 (NOT v4 version - apparently v8 works fine)
* Xposed v86-sdk23-arm64-wanam
* Xposed Installer 3.0 Alpha4
Follow the normal steps when flashing.

Wind Mobile & Videotron LG-D801 - aboot.img, boot.img, recovery.img, and SYSTEM DUMP!
Hey devs
I have pulled out the aboot.img and recovery.img files for the Wind Mobile and Videotron D801V11B version that does not have a working root (Chinese version is the only root available) or recovery out yet.
Devs can hopefully be able to use this to create a root and recovery for the non T-Mobile D801.
Here are the links for the files.
Thanks

UPDATE 2
here is the original boot.img link

Thanks for taking some initiative with your know how to get some development on Wind phones rolling.
I hope some developers will see this!
My guess is that since the Tmo version is the 801 and so is the wind there is a pretty good chance that you will be able to get root fairly easy. Maybe post over in the ioroot thread and link to the thread here so they can see these files.

Superb! Forgive my ignorance, but what is the Chinese root method?
Now that there is a working recovery, would it be safe to flash T-mob roms and see what works and what doesn't?

Yeah I believe it would be safe to flash those ROMs. Since it is the Canadian recovery that works, I am inclined to think that the D803 Roms might be more compatible than the T-mob D801 Roms. Just make sure you create a nandroid before you install any other Rom.

I'd make sure to remove the boot.img from any ROM zip you try to flash just to decrease the chances of boot-looping your device.

Leaked builds by different devs are also rock stable lately, especially after getting the Kernel, anyways, it's been long since v5.0.2 released, why Samsung always releases older Android versions? I even wish they would have worked for v5.1 if they had to release updates so late! 5.1 is major upgrade afterall

Note 5 marshmallow* Odin package.

Hey everyone. currently uploading the latest Odin package fresh off Samsung's kitchen

That is the build number. It is the same as Verizon's note 5 MM update.

have a look.
the MM beta is N920AUCU2BPB2, this is N920AUCU2APB2. coincidentally, N920AUCU2APB2 is the version all these various root methods are based on.
so, is this maybe an unreleased update from ATT? I can't really see any differences, and the phone works fine. I'm almost tempted to try one of those root files, but frankly I'm a little tired of wiping my phone when it gets buggy like chimera did to it.
That's the purpose and the fun of testing

I've tested those root files posted here in 5.1.1. None of them work. I flashed back the stock boot image and my N920A is still working fine. But I don't want to flash this MM Odin files because I don't want to loose everything that I have downladed. I know I can backup first, and I already did, but I prefer to wait for the official MM upgrade from AT&T.

Glad that I flashed this one . Here is a quick review for all those who have questions about this.
1. Stable rom. Can easily be used as a daily driver.
2. Gcam 6.024 fully supported. Even the front cam works. Night mode works l, no lags what so ever.
3. Volte function is supported . Dual volte supported.
4. Flashing this rom will not lock your bootloader or remove custom recovery. So have fun.
5. Battery back up is amazing. Can last up to 6hrs of pubg play with frame rates set to high.
6. All banking apps working for me.
7. Rooted with latest magisk 19.1
8. Audio output is decent.
Things that didn't work
1. WhatsApp video calling lag. This stupid bug has made its way in official firmware as well. Not sure how to resolve it. Rest all gr8

i'll try my very best in the future.
thank you! I really wanted to use the stable pie but before I always failed flashing through TWRP even though I edited the script.
if it doesn't support OTA and the latest version has been updated, are you going to make this flashable script again?

Yes.
Quick question, do you have to flash decrypt zip again before/after flashing stock? I already did use decrypt once before. Now I'm currently on Havoc. Thanks!

Whatsapp videocall still lag?
WhatsApp video call lag is there. I have found a solution now but I have already changed to arrow OS. Can you try this a let us know if it works.
Edit build.prop inside vendor folder
Than add com.whatsapp or package name of any whatsapp mod to line camera.hal1.packagelist
Reboot, if still lagging, edit the name of camera.hal1.packagelist to vendor.camera.hal1.packagelist
It will help others of someone could try this.
