I have just got this LG G4 H815. It's the european version. The software version is now V20f-EUR-XX.
I found this thread about how to unlock bootloader tutorial which I guess I can follow. But what happens next? How do I root the device? Is there a step-by-step tutorial that I can follow? Do I have to downgrade the system to complete? If so, how do I downgrade?
Sorry for all the questions. I am a complete beginner... Can anyone help?

am not sos sure about this but i think not all european can be unlocked..

first of all..... can you phone be bootloader unlock... check here.....

if not then you cant root marshmallow with locked bootloader..... but you can root LP.

YES - you can unlock the H815L, unofficially, provided you are on Marshmallow and you have an ARB version of 2 or less. Your ARB version can be ascertained with SALT.
Refer to this thread by steadfasterX: [UNLOCK][UNOFFICIAL][G4] Unlock **ANY** LG G4 device with UsU for the unlock method.
Read the OP thoroughly and completely, making sure you comprehend. If you plug H815L in on the search bar on that thread, you will see that it has been done by H815L owners successfully.

Do you guys know where I can find firmware for K428 T-Mobile version V20C or V20A? Please, if you have link, can you provide. I've search the entire universe and only end up with 10c which is not what I'm looking for! Need to root this phone so I can unlock it. I am currently on V20G. Is it possible to downgrade?
