Could you please instruct us what to do with this code and how to use it please?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, if you go to settings and hit build number about 5 consecutive times, you will enable developer options, which will show up in the settings list, check it out.

That's not what he's looking for.
There's instructions here on the forum some where. Can't remember where. You have to edit a system file or something to enable it. Try a search
Edit: there's also an app.

Here's the instructions to enable it
You need root for either option.

Yes, please use "Phone INFO ★Samsung★" then search your secret code. You will see 0808 on the list, just press it then you will see the menu pop out.

[Q] Please help to remove menu on Galaxy Note 2 SHV-E250S

I bought a Galaxy Note 2 (i605 Verizon) but by mistake I got a Korea version SHV-E250S instead. I do like it though but it has a black menu always appears on the home screens as shows in the picture and I could not find a way to remove that menu even I tried all of the Setting and I do believe there must be a way to do so. Does anyone have an idea?

First attempt to use WiFi tether, so it would fail.
Then open sqlite editor,
open Settings Storage
settings.db
system
search for "entitlement ".
It will show "tether_entitlement_check_state"
change the value from 5 to 0.
Reboot & En-joi

Kinda scared to root - first time android user, don't want to brick my device.
Won't I also miss out on any software updates?

Hi, unable to find bottom four. Only found 1/4. Screenshot:

Nothing below "System Update", that is the last package on the list. Nothing else to scroll to.
This is a Verizon Note 7. Anything else I need to disable?
Type in the name of the file where it says update (search bar).

Nothing.
Apparently 3/4 of those packages just don't exist on my Verizon phone...
I hope that means I'm safe.
Strange. Assume you've scrolled through to find it (alphabetical).

Yep, I've done that.
I'd be tempted to check the two System updates (which I don't have) in your post #5

Go to THIS link then go to the download page and grab the Stock SystemUI + Framework with minor mods – DOWNLOAD and install it. Then go into System UI Tuner in settings.
Unfortunately, I can't find it again, but one of the OTAs had a tool built in to do this in the UI Tweaker. It might have been the "V" version but I haven't been able to get it again.
