Hello,
for normal usage I would like to permanently activate the energy saving mode; the phone then is still plenty fast enough while saving a bit of battery.
Problem is: You get a permanent notification, and the status bar gets permanently red.
The notification can be removed with Xposed (e.g. module "Notify Clean", where you, by the way, also can activate a dark theme for the notifications); but does anyone know a way to get rid of the coloring of the status bar, so that it isn't recognizable at all that the energy saving mode is running??
Thanks in advance!
Use 'color status bar' android app! and you are done!

Found this new app 'status' much better than color status bar app.
There is topic in themes, fix accent color etc. The file name is h2o2, flash it, then the red notification will be gone.

Hi everyone,
I have a question have any developers here manage to turn on the GPS with one click using the toggle icon or notification toggle screen or as I my smartphone is the ARC S which is rooted without the diagree/agree popup message please?
My smartphone is rooteda and I have installed a systemUI.apk with notification toggles into my smartphone.
Regards,
Darkfunnyguy.
+1
I use a widget too, to toggle in one time many functions, but GPS always show the agree/disagree option screen
This would be a great feature. Anyone knows an app like "Widgetoid" which can turn it on/off without going to the settings page?
My smartphone rooted and I have installed modified systemui.apk with notifications toggles in Notification bar. Turning on GPS brings up the agree/disagree popup rather going to settings.
Take a look in themes and apps section of Sony Ericsson Arc, there quite a few notification toggles to chose from.
But what I am looking if any developer on here that actually remove the diagree/agree popup but it does not look anyone successfully achieved it.
I use GPS OnOff widget by CURVEFISH. It turns on & off my GPS with 1 click. But it only works on the stand alone GPS not on Google locations. Droid X2 rooted.
You mean removing /system/app/LeamingClient.apk?
If remove the above apk, any notification will not appear when toggle the GPS on/off.

Sorry, I forgot a comment.
the above method can be appled only if you get root.
Just use GPS OnOff widget by CURVEFISH.
Thanks a Brazilian!

Friend would like to thank the hint, I removed the file "LeamingClient.apk" folder you said and everything worked out here on my Xperia x10! sorry for my english because I'm talking translated! I spent many nights trying to remove the popup jenela GPS! But only here could succeed with your comment! you Americans are too! America has always been and will be superior to my Brazil! big hug! ^ ^ And thank you very much once again!
Is there any way I can move softkeys to the left side of the phone, while in landscape mode? I have rooted phone, and Xposed installed.
I believe Sense 6 Toolbox will let you do that. Otherwise some custom roms definitely do have that option. Perhaps only Aosp roms tho.

There's an app on Play Store called "auto hide soft keys" that should do it too.
Today after rooting i was in the hidden menu and changed the 2 settings that fix lag. well after i rebooted i returned to not having any navigation bar soft keys. I went into settings to see what was up and the option to modify the navigation bar is no longer there. I dont want to factory reset because im afraid of messing it up any more. If anyone has any advice i would really appreciate it thanks in advance guys!
Did you find solution? I was also exploring hidden menu for options, did device test and after restart I lost navigation bar. Also 3 dots in applications are missing. Like it would be no virtual input method..

Found solution. Add: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 to build.prop
It fixes the problem. However there is another problem that phone's lock screen settings are not being saved after restart..
Hi guys,
I've got an OP3, and loving it!
One of the small niggles I just can't figure out is how to make it show the percentage while charging..? I've set it while discharging, but it has no effect while plugged in to the (awesome) Dash Charger.
I know, I know, it's a miniscule annoyance.. But one of the few I have with the device.
All help greatly appreciated
I'd love to get an answer to this too as it is the only thing about stock Oxygen OS that is bothering me
Just expand the quick settings ,battery percentage is there.
If you just wake the screen but don't unlock it the percentage is at the bottom just above the fingerprint icon

You can set the % in the battery setting. Only thing is that there is no option in mimic of the circle battery indicator with % within the icon...

There is. In battery setting, choose Battery circle. Then in System UI Tuner, choose Show Embedded Battery Percentage. Done.
Wow thanks... But sorry for the noob question... Where is system UI tuner?

Thanks for the hint... I Google for it but I couldn't locate the system UI Tuner within developer options...
Is there a different set of options for any reasons?

Ok got it... In order to activate System UI Tuner, animations must not be Off in developer options (which I switched off on day 1)... It works now... Many thanks
Hello. There is someone who can do mod reducing navbar?
I too would like this but hopefully without root since I'm on Verizon and I don't we'll ever get root
Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
Does changing the display size help with it? Ignorant that they don't auto hide like my g3 and g4 did. They do while in the camera

The display size helps yeah.
I would also love this but pretty sure it will require root as the navbar is controlled through systemui.apk and any edits to that require root

Could we not use adb to somehow hide them? I know on some phones, for example, the s8 is capable of hiding it through adb. Just a thought...
OK where is it?

As you can see I've hidden the nav bar. After 3 second the nav bar goes away. The app does not fill now of the screen. But there's a section to swipe up on to reveal the nav bar again. That's best I've found. See attached screen shots for examples.

Here you are. There is much that can be done with it for free. But truly test drive it and IMO buy the pro. It's well worth it. Changing activation area size and color made me really like it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmd.immersive

Same, hid all the useless icons
For those that may want even more options to change the look of their notification bar I love this.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.inline
@op don't mean to stray from original question of navigation bar. Just sharing.
GMD Auto hide Soft keys, but u need root

By setting the Display Size too small under Settings, the navbar can be smaller than default.
But I have another question, I'd like to use clear themes so the whole system UI is clear (not dark or black), but I'd like also whatever clear theme I use, to keep the navbar ALWAYS black, which isn't the case with all the clear themes I've tried.
Some apps follow the on screen app color to make the navbar the same color, but some apps such as xda labs, quickpic, imdb etc. just won't follow and therefore, the navbar remains white or clear (if a clear theme is applied).
I've tried quite a bunch of navbar apps from PlayStore, couldn't find one that would suit my needs, and I don't want to try Substratum app/themes on the G6, cause I've had some "bad" experiences on my previous phones.
So do you guys know if there's a way to mod this?
Thanks and have a nice day.
Interesting question, I'm with you on making the navigation bar (shorter I guess) does anybody know of a way to get fully immersive? I always liked our controls and having something on the screen I don't always need kinda bugs me a little
