I just bought a OP3 in China but I'm afraid whether it can be used in the USA? I mean, they use different models in the connectivity. Can I do something to unlock it?

I loved Cyprus -- when I was a kid toured around on a motorcycle. Anyway, there are different phones for different markets. The US t-mo phone will (of course) do data on t-mo but also, will work on at&t. It will also work on the more universal 2100 3G frequency for Europe and Asia.
If you buy the typical Euro phone, it does not have the 3G frequencies which work in the USA. On the other hand, any of the phones should connect w/o issue for text and voice.
Make sure, if he's buying on line, he does not get a version designed for some of the Arab language markets which do not have market.
I just wonder how many model for United States, it effects me
From what I understand, if there is only one model for U.S. then I would buy the Tmobile version, unlock and use it on Verizon. Im positive it will work cause I did the same for Nexus 6 and iPhone 6. Buying a Tmobile version cause I thought it comes with unlocked bootloader or at least, it's easier than Verizon
Does anyone know if a One Plus 5T cell-phone bought in the US can also be used in Europe with a European SIM card? I know some phones have issues if you use them in different countries from where you bought them. Is One Plus 5T one of those phones? Thanks in advance!
I don't have a 5T (yet) and have some similar questions about using the dual SIM, but I've done enough research on the various bands supported and available to be very confident that this will not be a problem. I know that my old Nexus 5 worked just fine for me in Italy a few years ago, and in general most unlocked GSM phones bought in the U.S. will work in Europe and vice versa.
There is only one model, so it will work without a probleem.
Hello!
I want to buy a dual-SIM Snapdragon S22 and use it in the UK. To that regard, I have a few questions:
1. Is it a good idea? Any NOTICABLE advantages of Snapdragon vs Exynos. (ie. should I just stick to Exynos versions they sell in the UK?)
2. Will the warranty be valid in the UK if the phone is from the US, for example?
3. Which exact version should I buy? I want it to be SIM+eSIM and 5G working in the UK
4. Where do you suggest I buy it with fast international shipping?
Thank you!
Hello to you too.
1. It's subjective. People equally bash on both variants. If you order from US, you risk getting a carrier-"touched" variant whose bootloader (from what I understood) can't be unlocked. Other global SD variants should be fine.
2. The warranty is valid in the country where you bought it. It might be a different story for EU purchases due to international EU member agreements/laws BUT the general rule is that a warranty is valid in the country where the device was purchased.
HOWEVER, if you somehow manage to find a seller of SD units that offers warranty for EU residents, it should be fine. But you have to make sure that it's truly such a deal.
3. If you buy a variant not meant for your region, expect the possibility that 5G might not work. To avoid that, check which frequencies your mobile service provider is on and then check the variant you're considering and its supported frequencies.
4. No clue
Which Snapdragon version has Nano SIM + eSIM ?
Hello, I am looking to purchase a Samsung S20 5G for use in the UK. I know that the G981B version with the Exynos chip in it is the one that is normally used in the UK. I've been having a hard time finding any of them for sale. The ones I have found are either in very poor condition, or won't ship to the US, or to a parcel forwarding service, or whatever. I do own a factory unlocked G981U1, which is the Snapdragon chip, and is built for the US. I've heard that it can be "used" abroad, but how well, I don't know. Would it work for an extended stay of 18 months using a SIM from one of the local carriers? Would it have issues with not supporting all the bands it should? Just curious because several years ago I purchased an S7 Duos, an international version, and used it in the US. It never seemed to work as well as the ones built specifically for the US. I am just wondering if it would be the same thing using a US phone in the UK?
