Like the title says, 1080 60fps available? And where can I look at a sample?
I don't know but I'd like to add another thing, the YouTube app is missing the option to view in 1080p 60fps.

That's exactly what I did, but no video has 1080p 60fps under the resolution selection wheel.

Dammm.... Thats weird... Does the screen support 60fps?
Not sure about the 60fps on YouTube. If you want set YouTube playback at 1080p, just play random video and setting, change to 1080p.
I am saying this because mine was set at 480p by default. So I changed it.

It does. At least you can watch 60FPS videos in Youtube via Chrome
yeah I can't choose 60fps options in the YouTube app, viewing the same video on my OPO gives me 720p60 and 1080p60 but OP3 only 720p/1080p

It almost seems to me it would be shared as full speed, and you can simply slow it down in the LG gallery. Is this true? I uploaded a video to YouTube and it was full speed.

It captures 120 frames per second, meaning you have 4 times more frames than regular 30fps. You should upload it to your computer and then edit it. YouTube will play the video in regular 30fps because that is the normal. btw the 120fps leaves the picture quality pretty useless :/

Well, no not at all. I think that you need to read about FPS and video recording in general. It takes the slow motion pictures, but if you uploaded it to youtube it will NOT play in 120fps because YT does not support that and it would be amazingly slow (also big filesize).
Use a editing software to select the parts you want to be in slow motion, and if you want the whole video to be in slow motion you need to convert the 120fps to 30fps but stretch it. If you know what i mean.

Yeah I do, I think it's just more or less a bummer that I'd have to edit it on a computer to get the full effect.
Unless you can do the same thing with a mobile video editing app.

Edit: sorry i cant find any solution in Google play either. I guess you have to use a pc.

So I've heard, but i guess you have to manually activate that setting while uploading, and wont surprise me if you cant do so from a mobile device.
It's the image quality that renders the slow motion useless.. it looks as bad as if they used quarter of the pixels for each frame, and blew it up, then do that 4 times each 30th of a second. I don't think even my Treo 650 videos were that pixelated.

The video has to be uploaded to a higher quality, most videos on YouTube are not higher than 1080p.
I have no issue seeing the 2K resolution when on a video that was uploaded in 2K. See attached photo.
Try the same video I did.

Have you updated your YouTube app?
If so, then the blame falls on Google. I know they have some lists for specific devices and being able to do such capabilities like VP9 playback.
If you are rooted, check this thread out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-patched-youtube-vp9-60fps-playback-t3418216
It's the one I am using, I had no idea it had an effect on 2K resolution too.
I am not rooted stock and waiting for nougar update....okay i will try contacting google fkr a possible sollution
Solveddddd.......i just uninstalled the installed updates to the youtube app
In other words uninstalling youtube from playstore and then trying playing a 2k video give me 2k resolution.. Updated to latest version again....and working
Is there any way to enable 60fps in video recording ?. Do you think it will come in the next Miui update?

1080p 60fps is already enabled. But if you're asking for 4k 60fps, I've read that the camera module isn't capable of that. [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and so on but I couldn't record at more than 60 fps with any firmware version so, that part is up to Xiaomi I think..
There's 60fps in open camera. I didn't test it, but you may give it a try [emoji4]

GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V7beta-test-8.apk
Magisk module Camera2 API - HDR+ +ARStickers
And optionally Open Camera, or Freedcam (but I don't know if it gets updates now but version 4.1 works for me)
Also I'm not on oreo but latest AOSPA Nougat. I hope this helps.

60 FPS ?
Could you upload some 60 fps video samples ?
Till now I have not seen anyone able to record smooth 60 fps full HD video on Xiaomi Mi6, it is disabled in drivers, as I know all custom roms uses Xiaomi drivers, to enable 60 fps recoding requires some more knowledge to edit drivers, on 4PDA they did it for Mi 5S 120 fps in full HD.

Did you check that the recorded video files is actually [email protected], many camera apps, just falls back silently to [email protected], if they can't record in [email protected]
You can check your videofiles with this app:

hello guys I don't know what I've done but I only have 720p now when I go on you tube it only shows 720 p it used to show 1080 and 1080 hdr is there any other settings to get it back I don't know what I've done I have it set to fhd+ , I must of touched something I don't want to restore lol I deleted a few Chinese apps that's all I've done . heres pics of settings
so I changed screen resolution to hd+720p and took a screenshot it shows 720p
I then changed it to fhd+1080p took another screenshot and it shows 1080 as in pics , so my device screen is set properly to 1080p but somehow YouTube only posts in 720? I've uninstalled YouTube and it's still the same any ideas anyone ,,I loved to show off my screen on YouTube hd videos? it used to work
it must be YouTube has they been any updates I checked with a resolution checker and it's 1080p FHD+ when set and 720p when set to hd+
is there any other video settings I can check I didn't think I was a noob I usually sort stuff out
so back again lol when I watch my own videos on YouTube they are 1080p when I watch other people's videos it only goes to Max 720? very strange... I've always used same 4k content to show off my screen at 1080 so it's not the vids
Not sure what's the issue but mine can view in 1080p. Maybe it's really the video?

Yeah thx got it working again ,, watch this in 1080HDR it's amazing ?
I was searching for some mods for this phone (Samsung Galaxy a30s EU DISTRIBUTION) to get 50 or 60 fps video recording working. Ideally 1080p, but 720p is also fine. I didn't find anything working. I looked into the slow motion mode, and on the preview, I saw 720p60fps. So it must be possible to do it in normal speed. Any ideas? Thanks. PS: I was able to do it on my old 12MP redmi note 4, so it must be possible on this guy.

I See that the normal camera from Samsung does 30fps at 1080p and 720p. I have tested a few apps that might support 60fps at 720p or 1080p. But no luck i have tried quite a few apps. Either the app stops working. Or it gives you a error that 60fps is not supported. I have tried 5 diffrent versions of Google Camera Modded. Open Camera ( This app says its not supported cause you can select at which fps to shoot at) and MX camera which also just allowed me to to shoot at 30fps only (Matter in fact it shot at 21 fps not 30fps)
Ok nvm I will just buy a GoPro

Can you tell me your exact settings? I downloaded the official hedgecam 2 from the play store, set 1440x1080 and 60 fps, frame rate not supported. If I enabled camera api 2, it just records it on 30 fps. Can you tell me the exact settings of your cam? Thanks in advance.
