PDA view out of date

Hi I noticed that viewing the forums in PDA view appears to be showing very old threads. Is there some process not running that needs to update generate the PDA mode?

When viewing in regular mode your account is set to only display threads that have been active in the past month... You can change this in the user CP. When in pda mode you don't have this "restriction", that's why a lot of old threads show up...

no the problem was I was only seeing old posts - or so I thought... however it appears that the 'problem' for me is that for some reason i now see the PDA mode topic lists sorted in reverse order. This has changed recently for me, it was showing threads sorted newest first before.

This only became a problem a couple of days ago. Normally I browse the pda version and have no problems but yesterday all the threads were months old (newer threads missing). Its like an old version of the forum was restored from some backup or something like that. I switched over to full mode and the current threads were there.

That's odd... I'm not seeing it... everything comes up where it's supposed to be for me...

I think you're seeing the same as me in that case... if you go to the last page for each topic list you'll see the latest threads.
Unfortunately this makes the PDA view unusable. Can any site admin comment on this?
_Nomad_ are you *sure* you're seeing what you expect? For example if you go to:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/f-263.html do you see this thread at the top?

I have the same problem.
The listed posts in the "PDA version" are not the same as in the "Full Version"
(For example in the Hermes forum)
Can this be fixed?

I dont want to seem like a complainer but this issue is still a problem. The main problem is that the listings have changed to reverse order and thats just annoying. The secondary problem is that the most recent posts are not showing up for 24 hours. This is a poor standard for the worlds premiere site for pocket pc issues. If xda-developers can't get it right who will. This is compounded by the fact that it was working 100% until this happened.
On a different site related problem.... Why is it that many threads just disappear from the boards? Here is a random example of one of my posts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=289358&highlight=outlook+skype+password it can still be found by searching but not by looking. Is it because it had no response or is it a malfunction (or dose it only happen on my browser). I don't particularly care about that thread but it has happened many times to threads I have looked for and it makes it hypocritical to reprimand noobs when they keep asking when in reality a lot of stuff has just vanished. If threads are being culled to keep things manageable thats fine but it should be stated to encourage wider use of the search.

The threads in the pda version are listed in reverse order, from the oldest to the newest. I changed my settings in the control panel to get the newest threads first but that does not change anything for the pda view :/

[Q] airdroid support

Does anyone know where I can find support for AirDroid? I've posted several questions on the website; while connected, but they never get answered. There seems to be a flood of question but not many answers For awhile today I couldn't get logged in; which left me outside the system with no way to inquire as to what was wrong. I just went back to review the error message and it let me in; so maybe is was a server issue.
I've looked for a support forum but haven't found one.

[Q] Face Unlock issue (Tried searching, sorry if repost!)

I went through FAQ, tried searching these forums, first post, T-Mobile specific forum, googletrons, etc. Either this isn't out there or I am just super n00b face at using search on XDA. I got lots of hits that seemed unrelated, and one thread that did have a solution, but for a Nexus with stock. I also checked several threads for other devices with Face unlock issues, but they were either different issues, or unsolved.
I have the D851 variant G3 with Skydragon ROM. Everything seems to work fine, except I tried setting up Face Unlock today and I get an error. I can run through the setup, but as soon as I get to the screen to take the pic, it says "Face Unlock Couldn't Start".
Any links or assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] How to change GPS module?

Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum, but I have read along here for a long time now and it has really been helpful for me. Thanks for that.
To my problem:
I own a ZL (6503) and I like it very much, but the GPS does not work and the camera doesn't focus anymore. The GPS can't find a sattelite, regardless how long it searches. I sent it to repair with this problem like 5 times, but it still doesn't work. In addition two months ago, the camera started to not focus anymore. I sent it to repair with this problem too and they said its working, which it doesn't. I have tried all kinds of software changes like factory reset multiple times and flashing cyanogenmod, but the problems still exists.
Now two days ago, the two year guarantee voided, and I decided to try to repair it by myself, if possible. Does anyone know, which part I have to change if I want the GPS to function again? And does someone know a good source for spare parts? I only find parts for the Xperia Z. Are those the same parts? If not for the GPS, then for the camera perhaps?

I found the camera part and something called "Loudspeaker Ringer Module". It says in the description "with antenna". Is this the part where the GPS module is?

Question Fingerprint and Camera issues

Hello, I'm new so sorry if this is a badly written post
Recently I got a unit that was preflashed with global rom on a CN device. The fingerprint sensor and camera both stopped working the day after. The camera made a weird clicking noise when I'd use it and the fingerprint scanner kept saying "Finger moved too fast. Slow down and try again." I've attached some screenshots below though I don't know if they'll be helpful or not.
I unlocked the bootloader and reflashed the WW ROM with the guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...e-6-can-be-used-for-cn-ww-converting.4474383/
The flash went fine and I managed to also root with magisk and get the asus module to get rid of the noficiation but the fingerprint scanner and camera are still non functional.
I assume that somewhere along the line I've either fried something or I messed up reflashing the phone. Any help is appreciated since this phone is about 2 days old as of this post date. Thanks in advance!
Edit1: I have my bootloader unlocked. sorry I forgot to mention! I also restarted the device and my fingerprint started enrolling for but a moment and then gave me the same error halfway through again. So I don't think the hardware is broken.

I've been suffering from the same for 1 month, I've done several tests and so far nothing has worked.
For me it started in the rom that came and I updated it thinking it would come back and I don't see any other way but to send it to the store and ask for an exchange.
But I'm curious, is it the same batch? because for weeks I've been looking for someone with the same problems and only now that I see it, I don't know if I'm happy or more worried.

If there's any way I can help then just pop me a message and I'll see what I can do. I also want this fixed since they both worked fine when I got the phone.

I talked to the seller, bought from the official store and he asked to send the cell phone to solve the problem.
I showed the print of this topic to let them know that the problem is not just me.
And I've tried everything to solve it and I haven't been successful, I just have to send it.
