Essentially, whenever I try to turn on the phone, it tries to boot, gets to the LG logo, and then goes blank, returns to the LG logo, goes blank... and so on.
What I've tried: Booting into download mode gives me a firmware update menu that stays at 0% (Edit: Computer cannot read the phone during this). Cannot boot into anything else but a reset because it reboots too quickly. But, I cannot reset anyway because of very necessary data on the device.

Hey all.
I'm new here.
1 week ago I bought an LG g2.
That is basically sprint phone(ls980) but seller did something with software to make it like D802.
I dialed 3845#*802# and a menu opened from there I reset hard and now I have problem with my lg g2.
When I Turn it on it shows LG logo for 5 seconds and restart and then again shows LG logo and restart and so on.
When I put usb cable or charger it shows LG and restart. It is not showing charging or anything.
I try to enter in download mode but when I hold volume up and connect usb cable it shows android logo and a text "erasing" and then shows another text"update system" and restart again.
I also try to enter in recovery mode but it showing Recovery Mode(loading) and after 3-5 seconds it restart again.
My pc/laptop is not detecting my phone.
Only one Mode is which is hardware control mode.
I'm very worried.
Please help me.
:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Please try to go to fastboot mode.
Looked everywhere but couldn't find an answer to this problem.
My LS990 was on a MM ROM with TWRP recovery. I tried to install an app from another phone with Titanium Backup (Install App + Data) and it hung for a long time and then shut off. When I turned it on, it got to the startup animation and the froze. I removed and replaced the battery several times but always with the same result. Trying to boot into Recovery Mode got me to a blue screen, then it shut off.
I went into download mode and tried to flash LS990ZV4_04.51101 stock with LGFlashTool (which I have done before successfully). It only got to about 60% before stopping and shutting off. Now whenever I turn the phone on, after showing the LG logo it goes straight to the Firmware Update screen (without showing "download mode" first).
When I press Volume Down + Power it shows "Recovery Mode - loading..." for a couple of seconds and then shows Firmware Update.
On Device Manager the phone shows up as "LGE Mobile USB Serial port" (not AndroidNet)
When I tried flashing stock again with LG Flash Tool it gets to 38% and hangs forever. (done this several times)
I have pictures but XDA wont let me post outside links yet.
Is there anything I can do besides trying to short the pins?
I see that when I connect the phone to the PC without the battery inside it shows up as "Unknown Device".
Could I perhaps do something with that?
Essentially, whenever I try to turn on the phone, it tries to boot, gets to the LG logo, and then goes blank, returns to the LG logo, goes blank... and so on. Like this: https://youtu.be/OuW-88ezNDE What I've tried: Booting into download mode works, but my computer does not read the device with anything (e.g. LG Flash Tool crashes when I press device information). Cannot boot into anything else but a reset because it reboots too quickly to enter stuff like safe mode. But, I cannot reset because of very necessary data on the device. The real goal is to get all my stuff like pictures, contacts, etc... out so that I can try to reset.
Also tried a different battery. The issue continued with the new battery however.
This damn thing is a plague my respect to LG is starting to leave.....
Facing same issue
LG Pad Verizon 10.1 VK700
My tablet was stuck in upgrading firmware mode whenever I booted it up. Used LG tool to flash stock firmware, and it would hang at 28%.
Went into recovery mode and clicked wipe cache, and when I rebooted it now says
boot certification verify and the top left with the LG logo and it hangs here.
Can no longer enter download mode to reflash.
Recovery mode still works, but none of the options work
*Wipe cache (top of screen will say boot certification verify and hang)
*Restore factory defaults (will hang at Restoring Factory Settings)
*Safe mode (reboots to boot certification verify and LG logo)
Figured I could try to use SRK tools, but nothing comes up in my Device manager when I plug it in anymore (not even qhsusb_bulk)
When I power it off and on with usb plugged in, windows will occasionally make the new device detected sound, but then make the device disconnected sound about a second later, so nothing will appear in device manager.
Does anybody have any suggestions or any way I can get this thing running again? Or anyway I can get my computer to even recongnize it as qhsusb_bulk so I can use SRK tools?
So this is weird. I was debloating this K10 (m250f) and I suposse I accidentally deleted an important package (sadly, i dont have the list of packages I deleted).
When rebooting it starts normally on LG logo, then "android is starting , 100%, dont turn off " , and afther that, the LG logo for some good minutes, to end in a Black screen. EXCEPT, when I press the back button to turn off, the normal turn off menu appears normally (the "power off, reboot, fly mode" menu), so the phone is not "dead" .
I formatted to factory mode from the device, but nothing. Then I installed the official firmware with LG UP, resulting in success from the install, but the problem is still there , abeolutly no change.
I thought this official firmware with LG UP had to fix everything, loke, from facroty, I cant believe it still happens, the same exact thing.
so PLEASE if anyone has any ideas pleeease!!
((... its my moms phone so I really have to revive it :c))
