I am happy to announce to you that I found solution to your Alcatel OT-918(All)..
Pre-requisites:
SP Flash tool(I have attached it)
One Touch Upgrade from Alcatel site
The 3 Alcatel ROM files(Attached)
Fully charged phone.
Steps
Download the appropriate ROM file for your phone and extract it to a folder.
Download Alcatel One Touch Upgrade for your phone ...Click here for Alcatel OT-918 Upgrade Tool...
Download the SP Flash tool(Attached)
Install appropriate USB drivers for your phone..
Using SP Flash tool push the 3 files(Download) to the smart phone...click here is an example of how to download...

Can you please help me with my ot 918 mix when i try to push the 3 files to my phone, i get an error after the purple bar finishes in the sp flash tool, saying something abt partial files and it needing all the files, im new to android flashing, and also i dont see where you have provided any recovery image for me to use, this makes me a bit confused as to what i should do please and thanks in advance

I thank you for the time you have used to compile the information. i have on little problem, my phone is Alcatel ot918 mix, though wen i did a nandroid back-up the files read "OT_918D_MT6573" which means it uses the OS for OT-918D. In your downloadable ROM files i can not see the OT-918D 2.3.6 which is the appropriate version for my phone. Thanx in advance.
i did this one and im having problem with the brom error i downgraded my from 2.3.6 to 2.3.5...accidentally i formated my nvram...i dont have any so whenever i flash my phone it says there is invalid partition on my nand flash...was my phone alreay dead? i cat even go to its recovery mode..the only thing that is good for now is that flash tool can still detect my phone...is there anyone out there who has heart to share its nvram??/

I have a Nandroid backup of my original ROM (alcatel ot 918 without D/M) i downgraded to V2.3.5 my after restoring it wont boot, do you have a file that would help me upgrade to v2.3.6 so that i can restore my original ROM because ONETOUCH upgrades seems not to work on my phone.

Bricked Alcatel One Touch 918
I had Alcatel One Touch 918 with android 2.3.6 on it and tried to root It. It installed, but stuck at booting, at the android logo.Then i tried to restore, using first the partial backup that i did, then with "Smart Phone Flash tool".I did a format : "Auto Format Nand Flash" "Format all flash".It`s connects to the phone and it formatted.
But when i try to Download something (F9) it`s only giving error and says : "SP Flash tool error (9100)
[Android USB] Can not find USB Port.
For formatting it can find.I tried removing the battery and tring after, but it`s not working.The phone can not even power on. I tried even using one touch upgrade tool, But still says my phone has the latest ROM.Once i connect it to a PC I can here the PC detect is by the USB connect sound but doesnt show its charging. Someone help on how to recover the original ROM or even how to get my phone working
i am helpless I try it .... my phone briked after...........

hi, i flashed my rom as you said, it was succesful, but one big bug is there after flashing my C4 IMEI numbers become invalid. some how i find solution for it in XDA and i used *#*#3646633#*#* and i i done IMEI problem,, and the main problem is i am staying in bangalore, i have 2 sims both are 3G supported and i used those 3G in my C4 before flashing,," NOW IF I ENABLE WCDMA only MODE NETWORK SOWS NO SERVICE", I Tryed in both sims but no results.. if i use same sims in my other android its working good in WCDMA Mode..AND MAIN POINT IS I USED SAME SIM IN THIS SAME MOBILE YESTERDAY ONLY BEFORE FLASING ON WCDMA MODE ... Seems i bricked it
I was earlier a user of this device and had tried several ROMs. Was experimenting with few custom ROM's on my friends device (Canvas 4)
After flashing a ROM (S5 ROM) posted on this forum, i was getting some errors in CWM:
can't mount /cache/recovery/log
and it refused to flash anymore ROM's.Left with no other option, i thought of flashing back the stock ROM and then rooting agn to flash a custom rom.
However, even the stock ROM didn't flash, i was getting an error
BROM ERROR : S_DA_SDMMC_WRITE_FAILED (3149)
I googled a bit and some forums suggested to format flash tp resolve this error. I did that and that worked and got a green circle with Format Ok.
Again, i tried flashing the stock ROM and now got a new error in SP Tools:
BROM ERROR: S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069)
I am stuck at this point and not able to flash the stock ROM. After loading the scatter file, only flashing of Preloader works. Remaining all is stuck.
Running a memory test on SP tools gives an error that
NAND FLASH WAS NOT DETECTED
Please help me out, i have spoiled my friends device and need to fix it ASAP.

I encountered this and if i remember right, this has been reported before. S5 Rom does spoil the recovery and it is repairable.
With SPTools, use the Firmware Upgrade option instead of the Download. This will set it right and try a stock rom first. I used Pranjal's ROM and it worked. Please try and report. Of course, you can flash any rom after that.

@kannanrs thanks for replyiing back, i think i had tried that on stock ROM but i tried again using Pranjal's ROM, doesnt work :crying::crying:

seems m stuck badly and lost it:crying:
If i do download only, i get Error 5069 (S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE)
the red and purple bars do complete 100% in both cases
And i used S5 ROM from the below link by @rishivg, it never said it breaks the recovery

Almost all, that flashed the S5 rom released by me, encountered this problem, including me. But the rom bettered all expectations.
And only when we need to check another rom did we encounter this.
This happened to me at all times when i tested this rom for answering the questions then. Its now 4 months that my canvas4 died a graceful death and beyond repair. So I am unable to test and tell you. Rishi can dare to test and report this and probably drive a nail to end this problem for you, if he can afford to risk a bit and probably rubal and vikas who helped me when this happened. I will ask them to comment also....
Theres a thread in the A116 or A110 forum which i will share here soon...

sure @kannanrs, let me know, i wil also check with the service center. BUt they rather take it as a hardware issue and dnt undrstnd software issues.

as expected the srvice center guy said, prblm with motherboard, get it replaced, i dnt think so. SP tools still detects the phone and flashes preloader, then comes error 5068
On searching for the NAND FLASH WAS NOT DETECTED, i found on some forums that if we have a back up of FLash from other device with stock ROM then it can be helpful, see below link (post #33 & 34)

I presume stock rom should have that but still can someone provide me the same as mentioned in these post. M not sure hw to make tht backup but if anyone here knows that

i have stock ROM, but that doesn't sort out the prblm.
i think a back up from MTK Droid tool would help, is that different than the stock ROM. Can someone make a backup of the stock ROMusing this tool and provide.

hello.
I have htc 816g , with mtk processor.
first I install a firmware to it with sp flash tool and it work very well.
then I want to add a new language , for that I install a recovery with MtkDroidTools , after that the device stop and it make restart continuously.
then I want to install firmware again , but sp flash tool stop at red bar , I leave it for 30 minutes , but it does not progress.
please help me.

After 4 days of work , I finally find the solution to my problem.

a few days ago I installed on my galaxy a3 2017 a custom rom but now I want to reinstall the official samsung software and so I took my computer and I tried to install it with odin. The memory was full and installing the software all's gone wrong and now when I try to go to recovery mode o something else like the download mode my phone shows me "an error has occurred while updating the device..." I've tried to use the emergency recovery in the smart switch on my pc but, even if I install again the drivers the computer doesn't recognize my phone. I'm going in panic please help me soon.. I need it

i have your issue but when phone turned off i can go to download mode and install new firmware and its ok
smart switch emergency recovery cant do anythings and dont use it!!!!
try adb if you can

Where is that custom rom?
