I don't hear any sound on mine. It could be a hardware problem, its better to visit a service center and ask them for a fix

If you bought the phone used and it still has the warranty, then the service repair will help you. If not, then you are out of luck and you will have to fix it through some third party service.
I can't really say anything about the sound you hear, because my phone has never had it. About the Nougat upgrade, I've had nougat from day 1 which was just over a month ago and thank god I have't had the issue. No one can say which phones are affected and which aren't because we haven't had an official statement from Google or LG so far.
I hope that answers all your questions.

You should try LG as they are more available in comparison to Google. Good luck!

I've been looking for a replacement battery for my opo, but the service centers in Mumbai have got nothing since October 2016.
At this point, I'm willing to try out an unofficial battery, but still want to restrict to Amazon India and not AliExpress. Anyone had any good experiences with the ones on Amazon India?

I don't think any other battery can compete to OPO's original battery. You can see many people having issues(almost) with custom made batteries, independent of the Buying location.
I've tried some from eBay.in but they all are having one or another issues..same as other user reports.Literally there're several theads in this forum for battery issues after replacing.
If there're not much issues, stick to the original one and if it's much necessary then you can go with any one,but be ready to face issues and less Sots, irrelevant issues.

I've been wanting to pass on my OPO to my younger brother who's been using a N4. But I've abused the OPO's battery to the point that SOT would be around 3hrs at best.
Oh well. Guess that's it then.

Even after making many charge cycles on new battery, you'll only be able to reach around 4-4.5hrs but not more than that.
If my OPO's battery degrade like that,I'd better consider buying a new device.

My phone is around a two years old (I bought it after Amazon India took off invite system on the phone). But my initial year of usage was very heavy and reliant on frequent charging/discharging.
Amazon is always best.

Link to the battery?
Also, I would not believe all that is written on Amazon as under "warranty". I've purchased far too many Chinese products under "warranty", but when the warranty expires, you need to send in your product at your cost to some remote location for analysis. The 'analysis' usually ends with the manufacturer saying the damage was caused by user error and will ask for money as high as the product price for 'repairs'. This is considering you're lucky enough to find where the 'warranty' address is, most just won't answer the calls or provide any information.
Can anyone recommend a company/service centre to repair a broken screen on the HTC 10?
Thanks!

Have you tried htc directly?
I would if I could find *anything* on their website about it!
Emailed a support request though. Stay tuned for exciting updates

I agree that contacting HTC directly is probably the best way to go. Go to their website and use the 'chat' function. I asked about an M9 screen repair about six months ago and they quoted $150, so I'm guessing it would be only a little bit more for the 10.

Good call! Spoke to them via chat.
If anyone's interested, the cost they quoted was £115 excluding shipping and 'diagnostic tools', whatever that is, and takes approx 5 days from receipt of the phone.
Not surprised about the cost, but the turnaround is disappointing.

Fancy doing mine while you're at it?
So, i had my Oneplus 3 not booting so i opened an RMA ticket 26 days ago. After dozens of emails they accepted to have my device repaired. DHL picked up my device and after 3 days it was with Arvato for repair. The motherboard was found faulty and so they performed an in-warranty motherboard replacement. What happened though after that? My device shipped from Greece for repair and Oneplus after repairing it, sent it to the Netherlands to an unknown person there. It's been 2 weeks now since the incident and the only answer i get from Oneplus is that the issue has been escalated and that someone is working on it. What can i do? any similar experiences? It really feels like nothing is done and that my device was lost in the Bermuda triangle with oneplus staying idle...

Tried that, with no success unfortunately... Definitely my last oneplus phone. I prefer to pay a bit more and get some proper service support in case something happens to a future device.
RIP @Konskl 's OnePlus3

This can littery happen with all devices bro. Motorola is not even reachable for support/replacement. Samsung is insanely expensive... If you are in the EU I would claim the rights you have.

yep the thing is that other brands like Samsung or Apple, wouldn't keep their customers without a device during that time. They would offer a replacement or something. Oneplus did nothing in that regards, they just stayed idle saying a colleague is working on this. What should a customer do when it comes to that? Buy a new device and incur new costs? That's not proper customer support.

When I sended back my old S3 they said that volume buttons do not fall under warranty, I had to pay €50 to get the phone back.. We all have had good and bad experiences with support from different brands. I don't think it actually matters if you have an. Samsung, Huawei or Oneplus device.
Samsung would leave you stranded, just saying
Good luck getting ur op back
Need suggestions, for change of battery in OnePlus 3T.
I am from India so give me suggestion which is accessible in India.

Yes. You can call your nearest service center also.
It took them a total of 30mins to complete the replacement too.

Pretty good I would say. I see a significant improvement over my previous 2 year old battery.
I'm from Italy so I should send phone to rma to get it change by oneplus. I already send it to fix low volume from speaker when still under warranty, I asked to change the battery (even if on my expences) but they didn't change it. So if i have to take it to an unofficial center I prefer to change it on my own. I'm wondering about a good battery

I'm sorry but I haven't conducted any statistical experiment on it. Also, I have given the phone to my relative. All I can say is that there was a significant improvement because my older battery was quite degraded.

No worries, I am planning to get the battery replaced as battery life has been terrible after the new Pie update. Hopefully, with the new battery I can push it till 5G phones arrive here
