Hello guys,
i d like to know whats the procedure for flashing a rom on the OGP e986, as i am new to lg devices and cant really find a thread for the e986..
I should inform you that i am pretty familiar with rom/recovery flashing,rooting devices etc.
So,should i flash any rom for the e98x and then flash the right modem for my device?Or should i flash a rom made for my exact model only?
Also,will i have the ir bluster functionality as on stock rom in custom roms?

Ok so i succesfully rooted using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2362657 ,and also backed my efs and changed my recovery using FreeGee..So im ready to start flashing roms..Any answers to my previous questions?Thanx

Ok i installed vanir's rom,everything worked like a charm on my e986.

When you launch freegee it automatically downloads supported devices list..If e986 was not supported it would automatically exit..Try for yourself.

Hi,
I think the people from lg g pro forum isn't friendly with new lg owners, i already ask about how to root my E986(Portugal) and hadn´t any answer!

I'm on Vanir's 4.4.2 Rom the last 3 days and I can assure you that it doesn't have any serious bugs and it has daily ota updates..Its a great rom for daily driver and the battery life i m getting is far greater than stock 4.1.2 rom..So wait no more brother!Start Flashing!?

Does it depend on where I am located, what country I mean and not the variant model?

Sorry for my questions but what are the downsides and is there a guide/link to a tutorial or something?
You can install the INT h815 MM but you will have no root as there's no unlocked bootloader for that model

No downsides you can flash it with LGUP there are plenty of tuts here on the forums

Hi veryone.
I need some help with my Zenfone 2.
Currently I'm using CM 13, what I want is: return to the original/stock rom from ASUS
I've downloaded the "Z00A ww 2.20.40.196" rom from ASUS website, but everytime I try to flash it, it stuck at something about "ifwi", but it never ends.
What can I do to flash the stock rom?
I've tried with ADB also but it never finds my phone.

Are you sure you are using the right stock ROM? Are using thr right version for your phone (ex D855, D850, etc)?
