I’m having a problem with my phone. Last night my battery is almost empty so I charge it, when I already plugged it in I realize that it is not charging, I tried other USB cable but its still not charging. So I turned it off and try to charge it again. At first, it worked but after I turned it on again its not charging anymore. The phone is only 6 months old and there is no other issues. I already did the ways on how to fix it like holding the power and volume down button and a light pointed to sensors. PLS HELP

Hi,
last night my Desire ran out of juice, and when i woke up it was empty.
So this morning i turned it on, entered my PIN and immediatly plugged it.
When i came back later, it was not running anymore. The LED isn't green as usual, and i can't turn it on.
It charges for several hours now, and nothing happen. I tried pulling of the battery, nothing at all.
I'm running Oxygen 2.0 RC7 (Android 2.3.2) for weeks without any problems.
tl;dr : phone not charging, no led at all. plz help.
Thx in advance for your answers !
EDIT : the phone rebooted without SIM and SD cards. Weird.
I just faced the same problem. I woke up to see the battery was compelety drained and the phone was off. I plug in the charger but the led doesn't turn on. How did you resolve this? How did you manage to reboot the device?
In my case, the phone was on with the charger plugged in but battery icon is red and empty. I reboot and clear battery stat in clockworkmod, reboot and all's well again...
Resolved
Well, in my case I had drained the battery completely. The phone neither would turn on nor would charge after the battery was drained overnight. I checked that there was about 3V in all cells of the battery.
In such case, pull out the battery and plug in your charger and you can see the led flash in all colors. This will make sure that the problem is with the drained battery and not the phone. Leave the charger plugged in for about 10-15 mins without the battery. Then put the battery back on and charge your phone, it should start charging and you will be able to see the red led. Now, let it charge till till your battery is fully charged.
i also have the problem that the phone want charge
when i insert the charger (with removed battery) sometimes the led starts flashing and sometimes it does not
at the first time i tried your method and waited for about 10 minutes
at next i inserted the battery but the phone didnt start to charge and now the led want start flashing when i connect it to the charger
ME Too1!!!!

Any solutions to cp6ija's problem?
This morning had same problem myself. HTC Desire plugged into mains charger overnight, but this morning discovered hadn't actually been charging and battery low although phone working. Now battery drained and cant get charging led to flash whether plugged into mains charger or PC via USB. Tried different USB leads and temporary battery removal as well as charging withour batter. LED resolutely dead
As per sod's law, phone out of warranty a few months back.
Help!
My N5X ran out of charge last night and turned off. I have been charging it since using my Nexus Charger, but the only response I get is the notification LED flashes around 20 times and that too when I press the power button for a good 20 seconds.
I attributed this to the low battery. I've used a different adapter and tried charging it with a different cable but still no luck.
The phone is rooted and on Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Everything (including the charger and the phones charging) was working fine up until last night.
Anyone?
Any advice?
Sounds like a battery.
Mine died due to eMMC failure so it actually had one time it didn't even had any LED when trying to charge.
Alternative solution that might work is trying different USB outlets which might eventually allow it to power on.
Hello Guys, I went a cinema today, I closed my phone there, then in a break I wanted to my Phone ON !!!

My phone PA64 codes with battery Problem !!! Sometimes battery going mad ...
but I tried it 1.5 hours wall charger , 30 minutes pc charged... NOT Turning on...
PLEASE HELP ME !!! I am closely going MAD
Steps tried:
USB charger < 2 Hours
Genuine HTC One Wall Charger < 2 HoursHolding Both volume keys and power keys for 2 Mins
Shining a bright light whilst attempting to turn on (weird i know but apparently it can fool the sensor - reported in some forums)
Tryed another Charger
Tryed another type-c cable
No LED came one whilst attempting to charge.
Not Charging
it died ? on the way and then wouldnt turn on or even show a light when i plugged it in. the weird this was that my laptop would make a noise comfirming that it was detecting something but it still wouldnt show up.
Sounds like some hardware issue. Have you try cleaning the USB port. If you are lucky, maybe this is just something stuck in there blocking one of the pins. Otherwise, it is a trip to the repair shop....

Unfortunately while I try to cleaning type c port, it was dead
My port not working now
I've never dropped my phone. I have spilled water on it once but that was 2 weeks before this happened. Now I can't charge, can't turn on, the phone just died on its own with over 50% battery. I tried all methods to revive it (hold volume keys and power). Nothing worked.
same on my HTC 10 ... tried a Google search when battery low (8%), screen went black and none of the 3 chargers or my laptop bring back the charge LED. Tried holding in power or power+vol up+vol down without success.
Is this happening to a lot of HTC 10s?
What possible solutions are there?
Hi,
I have a htc one m8 that wont turn on. I plug it in the charger or the computer(the computer doesn't recognize it) and it shows the red led charging light, but it won't power on. I have tried the several key combinations multiple times, but they did nothing. I also left it charging the whole night and the light was still red this morning.
The phone had given some issues in the past. The charging port is a bit temperamental and for a while it wouldnt charge if the cable wasn't in a certain position and wouldn't turn on, so it was shelved, until recently it started working again for a few days and now won't turn on at all.
Anyone has any idea what the problem could be or how to fix it? Could this be a dead battery? I thought it could be a bad battery, but it would still turn on when charging, no?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
I have been trying the key combinations these last few days and nothing. any ideas?
Hi,
Having some issue's with my M9, I replaced the battery as the phone was unusable in that you could charge it to 100% and if turned on, if you unlock the screen it will turn off and act like no juice left in battery, put back on charge and starts at 0% charge then after a short while, jumps up etc, but of no use.
Now with the new battery, it plugs in, red light at the top to indicate charging worked, the charging icon and percentage on screen works, however the phone will not turn on, any ideas what this could be as been googling to no avail, seen different reasons for lack of power, but nothing really in regard to a result of fixing this issue I have now.
Hope someone can help.
Regards,
V4mpire
just as an update, I found out that I had broken the cable going to the power buttons, luckily I have a M9 from when I was in the US and took the sd card tray/power buttons cable and put it in my phone and it works.
