Is there some kind of keyboard mod that will make my GPE Keyboard like Samsungs ?
I want the numbers on top like Samsung, it makes typing things so much easier.

How to mod keyboard colors?

Hi guys,
yesterday i saw a picture of the Galaxy tab keyboard and i like the colors very much.
I downloaded a Galaxy Tab ROM and decompiled both Galaxy S (with depencies) and Galaxy Tab's AxT9IME.apk.
I copied the desired pictures to my original AxT9IME folder.
After that i recompiled it and pushed it into /system/app.
Now the Keyboard disappeared. Its not in the list of input methods anymore.
I also tried to color the original files, but then i get force closes when i choose the samsung keyboard.
Can you help me, please? What am i doing wrong?
can help with the screwed up phone.. try reflashing.. but next time instead of trying to mod the keyboard that way, use the custom htc keyboard works great and you can customize your own keyboard here
http://www.gimpsta.com
My phone isn't screwed. Its just the keyboard, but i backed it up before.
And i already tried the htc ime, but it doesn't have multitouch.
By the way, using another keyboard can't be the solution, i want the samsung keyboard with different colors. The guys out there do such crazy things with the software, so i can't believe there is no possibility to do what i want to do.

IME mod keyboard/stock keyboard + gingerbread = problem

Hey Guys

change dialer

Hi.
I'm almost desided on buying a Samsung Note 4. But I got to try it to day, and it has the same "problem" as both the S3, S4 and S5. The dialer does not work as I would like. If I have a name with a dash, like Dag-Ove, and I start typing on the T9 it finds nothing when I type 3246. My Sony Z3, LG G3 and HTC One M7 does provide names with a dash. Also the Samsung Alpha works "correct". Guess it's the dialer from touchwiz that have this issue. The question is if it is possible to change this dialer.
Also, the Samsungs aint able to change bluetooth device in a call. I can turn it on and off, but not change from the car to the earpiece. Is this also the dialer?
There are plenty of dialer on the market I use rocket dialer and it does what you say that touchwiz does not

HTC Sense Keyboard improvement

Hi All:
I use the HTC Sense keyboard in my M8, I use the English & Arabic languages.
I tried so many keyboards, like SwiftKey, Google Keyboard, Samsung Galaxy Keyboard (Galaxy S4), Sony and many others from Play Store and I found out that the HTC Sense Keyboard is the best specially in Arabic language.
but I believe that it is missing some features like.
1- No themes !! (even Google Keyboard have themes !!)
2- There should be a separate selection for each word prediction & Auto replace words (they are combined now in one option).
3- Separate row for numbers.
Any one have something to add ??
I hope HTC will look to this thread, I want to see the keyboard with material design with all that options.

There is tons of themes on Viper rom for HTC keyboard, about rest of the features forget about it, HTC wont loook at this thread you can only ask HTC via official support about it and pray they add it some day in sense 7...8...
One question though... where did you find the keyboard from S4? I would gladly ditch the sense keyboard, for the samsung's one.

LG Keyboard iOS 9 emojis??

So I've been searching everywhere, and I read an article that said the G4 now supports seeing the new ios9 emojis. But can the G4 keyboard type them?? I went and ported the ios9 notoemoji or whatever file, so I can see the emojis, but the keyboard apk's that come with the file that support typing the emojis are either the google keyboard or xperia keyboard. I like the LG keyboard the most out of any other, and I don't want to leave it but I want to be able to type the ios9 emoji and not just see them. I also tried to install the lg g4 keyboard and v10 keyboard hoping that they would have the option to type the emojis, but they didn't. Is there any way to get an LG keyboard that has the ios9 emojis available to type?? Or am I just f##ked out of luck and forced to use the google or xperia keyboard?? Maybe a dev can modify the LG keyboard to be able to type ios9 emojis?? I'd most def pay for it.
