ive just received mine now (uk), the package comes with a simple instruction manual and cleaning cloth aswell as an additional strap that attaches from the top of the headset to the strap that goes behing the head.
The inner lenses are protected by a blue plastic film and also the soft foam headpiece is removable so that it is able to be cleaned, the soft foam insert it is attached to the headset with velcro on the headset side only
all i can say about this headset is that it hurts my nose

I received mine today, and I agree, its painful to wear for any longer than a few mins, I can't believe they didn't put any padding on the nose part, the whole weight of the headset rests on my nose and its uncomfortable. I'll have to try and find some foam to try and stick on to it

Wear using the head strap (the upper one). It takes the weight from hurting the nose.

Good Suggestion.
I found a pretty good solution on reddit, if you take the foam padding off and put it back on upside down, it gives your nose some padding and its much more comfortable to wear. The padding is Velcro so its easy to take off and put back on.
Its not a perfect solution but it works for me.

Thanks for the heads-up.
That's a low cost option but like many of the other cycle mounts...
It provides no external environmental protection. I wouldn't want to expose the Note to rain.
It provides no shock protection.
Has the Note been shock tested?
I don't think the Note would survive for many kilometres on the streets around here. You'd probably get away with it on a MTB with good forks but my hybrid has carbon race forks and skinny tyres at 8.5 bar.
Combine these with cobbled streets and tram lines.....
I've used the same type of mount with the original SGS and it works great. My bike has no suspension and I ride 24km round trip on pavement, gravel, and dirt. It doesn't need shock protection because there is no moving parts in the phone. It would not work well for rain though.

No moving parts - the vibration module, the speaker cone, the microphone diaphragm, home button, power button, volume rocker....
Besides, vibration and shock impact on none moving parts as well especially components mounted on PCBs.
Picked this up today from Currys (25 quid) the plastic used on the back/sides portion is odd. It grips like it's rubber, but you cannot gouge the surface with a fingernail. Tough as old boots, reputedly able to withstand a wire brushing without marks. also with funky orange absorption panels inside.
The front flap that protects the screen is semi rigid, with a mock suede type fabric inside, and a leather like material outside, that also feels rubbery, and although not as resistant to gouging as the back, any gouges that could be left by keys etc, seem to disappear after a couple of minutes, coupled with a general high quality feel make me think these are going to be a popular brand.
[UPDATE]
Been living with this case for a month now, and I have to say it`s looking like it`s going to stand up to pretty much anything. Although I don`t use it during the workdays, (too grippy, won`t slide in and out of my overalls pocket) It`s the case I go for any other time.
I initially feared that handling it with dirty oily hands (I do occasionally) that it would stain a lot more than it does, but a good wipe down with a damp microfibre cloth, and it`s sparkling again

Ok I found out a very nice way to hold my One in my car, though I dunno if someone tried it with the One which is the first Android phone to be in aluminum, and I wonder if we can use it horizontally

I have something like that in my car, however I always have a plastic case on and it sticks on there no problem, issues with this pad is that over time dust will gather and you will have to wash it, but when you do it becomes sticky again.
I don't know if I can trust this pad to hold my phone well. What if I suddenly hit the brakes hard and the device falls on its face and breaks or like right out of the window? Maybe I am just too paranoid. Ha ha!
i found mine lost stick way too quick, too much hassle to repeatedly wash. I turfed it.
I think this pads have magnetic + rubber coating so that it catch phones,I have read in the comments that phones are like glued to the pad!
I hope so because our Lebanese roads are very bumpy

If you can snag some, look into Pugoo. Fully washable, quite strong, and easy to remove.
I something similar to this for my S3 and it worked very well in keeping it in place; however, when I switched to my HTC One it no longer sticks well at all, probably because of the aluminum casing. I always use my phone without a case and was never worried about my S3 unsticking, but I wouldn't use it with my HTC One unless it was in a plastic case.
Looking for a cheap bumper case (side +back)
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=380759963133
I can only find these on ebay. Has anyone tried it?
It's so cheap I'm actually reluctant to try one. Obviously I want the Nexus branded at the back but they are frosty clear so it shows through.
Anyone?

UPDATE
Ok it arrived today. Tested and took some pictures. Lock and volume keys are spot on. Its a very solid fit. But as you can see from the picture, due to the shape of the phone (base is larger than top) there is a slight gap between the speaker grills and the speaker grill cut out but it does not interfere with the sound or mic
For this price I think its worth it. All round protection and very slim. I dont like slim cases which have no protection at the top and bottom so its perfect for me.

Yes I'm using it -- review: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516321
Isn't a case that covers the side and back just a... case? Bumper cases are just the sides.

Hi right after I bought my nexus 7 2013 I bought what any sensible person would (a case) to be exact I bought the official Google bifold case ( pictures below) the only thing I'm disappointed about is the fact that it doesn't have a magnet for manger wake and lock so I'm trying to find the best way to install a magnet into the case
Here are pics of the case any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Tear up stitching, heat up what probably is glue keeping the stuff together, put a magnetic strip on the cover close to the bottom left side of the screen. Glue and hand sew it back using the same holes.
Thanks that what I thought I'd have to do, not very good with crafts.. Do you think that they might make a magnetic tape that is thin enough and strong enough to just put a strip on the inside cover?

Go through your fridge magnets and see which ones work, maybe you can cut a slit in the case and just shove one in there.
