i have found this camera very useful so i am sharing this app..
this camera have great feature like dslr camera so those who like photography can use this app...
not only camera but you can also manually control video too by manually set iso, white balance, focus etc..

That's just Yet Another version of Mark Harman's Open Camera. Which also can use wide angle lens on G6.

Yes i know that this application is another version of Open Camera but i found the interface more intuitive!

Agreed. This version is more customizable than open camera and has a few more settings.

Thanks for the link. Agree that it has a quite intuitive handling. One of the best I have seen so far..

60FPS Video Recording

I was just wondering if our phone supports 60Fps video recording cause I havent found a single app which can record at 60fps...

Check this , you can increase the brightness of recording too to overcome low light.
Your record button may be messed up after first time you record , just open it again and its ok forever , hdr isn't working tho.

That's why . try to search for oreo version and hope it works.
nougat is more stable for me .

Tried but couldn't find anything.. probably I'll just stick to what's available...

try snapdragon camera modded for the Lenovo P2

Please provide links for your recommendations..I cudnt find any Snapdragon camera for P2....
I flashed the one mentioned above and it crashed all camera apps...even snapchat...I had to remove the entire folder in twrp as it was read-only..I'm on Oreo 8.1

Looks like our phone just can't..

The sensor can do 60fps, i think its a software limit from camera driver, xiaomi mi4C have the same sensor (IMX 258) and a modded camera library activate the 60fps video recording

Yea... Looks like the devs have to port the camera drivers of another camera with the same sensor...
A thread for porting the drivers had already been created, to achieve back camera portrait mode on Google camera...
But looks like devs are not interested to do so..
So we have to wait until someone learns the method of porting camera drivers and solve these issues

Tbh our camera is not that strong I don't think it's capable of shooting 60 fps but i don't know ?

also keep an eye on camera m thread
but for me I ditched oneplus camera all over and I use google camera with the fix the camera quality is much better now and you get portrait mode front and back

Which build are u exactly using I see everyone says they are using gcam but all the versions? either crash or have bad quality.

U need root for the perfect version. U need to install Armova Magisk Fix v2.2 and savitars Colorfix (optional) for better GCam experience.. After installing these try Arnova latest Google Camera port.

Thing is I've got Camera M and the Gcam fixes installed and I get the feeling they might conflict. Anyone want to try it out?

I installed it. It installed over my original OOS camera app. I felt no change. No front portrait

Yea. Because thats not the latest OP6 camera. Thats old one.

The update is out for the OP6 (which includes the front cam portrait mode) and i am sure that someone will make it work for our OP5T. Just wait.

Poor video & picture quality

Took a few videos using this phone at my sons birthday earlier. Very disappointed at the quality. Is there particular settings I should be using when taking videos? Or is there a better app to use? Pictures are good but not brilliant. So maybe my settings are not set correctly. Thanks in advance.

Use HDR mode it's quite good in low light, i use stock settings.

It is an app, actually many apps. Gcam is the Google's Pixel camera port and it works great on Android 8.1 Oreo. Not so much on Pie though, on Pie Xiaomi broke the focus and none of the gcams can properly focus. So if you're on Pie, don't bother, it won't be worthy of your time. If you're on Oreo, go to guides section and find guides about "camera 2 API" or "cam2API". Follow them to the letter then sideload gcam apk. :good:
