Thanks!

Just select boost mode in working mode of settings. Select the apps which you want to be hibernated when they are not is use from the add symbol option of greenify.
Edit - Also enable auto hibernation mode in the option menu of greenify , otherwise u can manually hibernate by going to greenify app or by adding widget on home screen

My CM10.1 Setup - Just Sharing

THIS ISN'T A GUIDE NOR A TUTORIAL HOW TO SETUP YOU PHONE. I JUST WANT TO SHARE WHAT I'VE DONE WITH MY PHONE TO MAKE THE BEST OUT OF CM10.1 AT ITS CURRENT STATE.
My primary goal when adjusting settings and applying tweaks is always battery life, performance comes second and looks of the ui as last priority.
So here's a listing of my current setup:
1. Installed Greenify - to hibernate user apps to prevent background execution.
2. Installed Autostarts - to disable automatic startup of system and user apps. I like this app coz i can control each app per activity.
3. Installed Titanium Backup - to freeze (disable) system apps and even remove some that i don't really use.
4. I have only one widget in the home screen, the clock. I disabled the rest of the widgets in Autostarts including Quick Search Bar. When i need to search the internet i just long press the menu button to open Google Search/Google Now.
5. Aside from the Quick Settings Panel, i place shortcuts in the home screen to easily access system settings to turn on/off features.
6. I use Script Manager to create shortcuts to run my scripts (like enabling/disabling fast charge).
7. I only install apps and games that i really use. But i have a TB backup of more than 170 apps in my sdcard, kept in case i needed them.
Can you give me a link which the system apps can be frozen?
I really hate google service running in background but I dont know which can be frozen by not crashing system

1. Disable apps which you are not using, from application manager. Bloatwares like SVoice,Ssuggest etc.
2. Switch off Wifi, GPS and Bluetooth when not in use.
3. Reduce brightness to a level which is needed for you.
4. Use a dark background, if possible a black wallpaper.
5. Never use applications which is expected to increase your backup. They DON'T!
6.Disable Sync, if u can, whenever its not needed.
Ultimately if you are okay with rooting, Root your device and expel all bloatwares, Or even better install a Kitkat Custom ROM for i9082.
Remove bloatwares
Install greenify and hibernate apps
Turn off sync
Dnt use live wallpaper
Dnt use any task killer apps

How to boost your Phone RAM & Battery Life by installing two apps in any Android Cell

How to boost your Phone RAM & Battery Life by installing two apps in any Android Cell
Hello Geeks,
Here I am gonna tell you how I am extending my cellphone battery life & making my cell phone to use less RAM. SD-MAID & GREENIFY. Condition of using these two apps is - your phone should be rooted. Let me tell you steps to use this:
1) Go to play store & download SD MAID & GREENIFY.
2) Open SD Maid > App-control. Touch the refresh icon on top. It asks for root permission. Allow it. Now, you can see a list of apps. By seeing apps some of them are with label Auto-start. Touch that app > Toggle auto-start component & a pop up window come. Turn off the components by touching ON. Do it for every app you do not want to run in background.
3) Now Open Greenify. Touch Plus icon on top. Allow root permissions. Now you can see. Touch show all apps. Here you need to add apps for Hibernation. Add apps which you want out of memory. And touch the sleep icon. Create shortcut for Hibernation if you want to add Greenify Hibernate shortcut to your Home Screen.
These apps are very small in size. Making the most of memory empty for other apps.
Enjoy

Greenify on LG g4?

Do you use greenify on LG g4 and if yes, which options do you enable?
I downloaded the full paid version of Greenify, and I use it with Root access so it will auto hibernate every app upon close. I also have the Greenify modules installed from Xposed framework. I think for root access it was mandatory you installed the framework modules.
What options are you referring to?
I absolutely love greenify and Islands. Both of these apps are by the same developer and allow me to install garbage apps that suck all the battery. These apps can then be deep hibernated as if they are completely uninstalled. I use a shortcut on my homescreen to launch the apps just like normal and then I use double tap on my homescreen to lock the screen and hibernate all the bad apps I had opened.
Examples of bad apps are Facebook Messenger, Google Maps and some sketchy things from the play store.
aggressive doze doesn't do the same thing?

Show battery % in status bar

Hello
Any nice solution to show the battery percentage in the status bar on Android 8.1 ?
Thanks
yes, go to battery settings and turn on battery percentage
Option is not available in Oreo and no effect if enabled with system Ui Tuner. I think setting was introduced in Pie.

Use Franko Kernel manager , if you have root , go to battery settings , enable battery monitor , and in the middle if the options you'll see show battery % ,turn the toggle on
Would prefer a free solution FK manager is a paid app
