You won’t be able to deploy an app via Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 to a phone running this build. As a workaround – you can deploy the app by using the Windows 10 Application Deployment (WinAppDeployCmd.exe) command-line tool.

I'm running windows 8.1 and already been playing around with several drivers, tried to force install some, but no luck either. Does anyone have a solution for this? I saw some people had problems with win8, and others didn't, been looking for something for 2 hours now, would be nice if someone could help out. Thanks! :good:

Windows 8.1 is the culprit dude. win 8 and 8.1 are different. My Gio works with windows 8 but it shows exactly same error MSG on win 8.1
Heh, that really sucks. So weird though. I got no problem with other Samsung devices in DL mode and I thought they all used a similar protocol.
On my way to an internet cafe I guess, hope they don't get mad.

Hi,
I have the same error on a freshly installed Windows XP SP3.
Did anybody found a fix for this?
Thanks.
I guess the long way is to update your system to Windows 7. With Windows 7 you won't get that error.
I saw the demo on the Windows YouTube channel. It was Windows 10 Enterprise running on SnapDragon 820, running extremely smoothly, also with full x86 Photoshop running and all.
Does anyone have any info on that version of Windows? Would it be possible to make that run on the 801 from the G3?

it is not possible, there is no source, not even the firmware of that device
it's not for mobile devices.
in that video windows 10 is running on a special snapdragon board (one kind of raspberry pi).

Hi! I'm looking for Surface RT recovery image. I really want to downgrade from 8.1 to 8.0, but i can't find link to the iso. Where can i find it?
Here is the image but I don't believe it will do any good. I tried to downgrade and all I get is a BSOD before it reboots.

Hello. I got myself a Surface RT and realized it's basically useless today. I can not even use it for simple school work... so I set out to find a solution. I ended up following a guide to install Windows 10, but now I'm stuck with this error I don't understand at all.
I cannot get the device to boot back into RT 8.1 now and am forever stuck on the Recovery screen.
Tragic, I know.
I have very little experience with command prompt, so this could be a really dumb question... but I was not getting good answers from google.
So what does this error mean and what should I do? heh-
hello
am i missing something but i see no error message on your screenshot?
With the caveat that it will still be useless with 10 on, have you tried Media Builder?
