Any APP can be used to unroot ?

Unroot can only be achieved when you use Stock ROM. Use ODIN to flash it back. You will lose everything on your phone though (Data, Custom Recovery, etc.). Just backup your important files before doing so

Can we Flash any custom roms easily using mobile or pc odin on rooted Note 2 N7100 (rooted with exynos abuse apk) and also have feature rich root to use things like nandroid backuo and restore keeping in mind rooting with exynose abuse app we don't have CWM. And if we have to send for warranty just flash stock rom and its all official and we don't even have to run triangle away etc as flashing stock ROM will take care of everything. ?

Odin is used to flash stock
And yes you need to use triangle away for repair
Flash a custom recovery to flash custom roms

I thought pc odin is used to flash stock firmware. but we can use mobile odin to flash custom roms.
When you say custom recovery do you mean custom rom..?

Cwm is custom recovery.
Custom rom is software made by people for our phone here at xda.
Use mobile odin to flash custom roms.
Use toolkit to make nandroids.

So that means we cant install custom roms without cwm.? As I rooted my phone with exynosabuse app I dont have cwm. I was under the impression I can still flash custom roms like omega rom etc using mobile odin.?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Yeah that's what I said you can flash via mobile odin.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
So I can flash m omega rom for note 2 just with Phone rooted with exynosabuse app even though I don't have cwm. . And if I need to send for warranty just unroot from exynos abuse app and flash stock rom and run triangle away app if counter raises.?

Ok. I will try to flash omega rom using mobile odin on my rooted exynosabuse app note 2 without cwm and see how it goes. Thanks.

Hi all,
I just bought a Note 2 N7105 today, and I was looking over and reading all of the rooting methods, but I couldn't find one with an easy unroot option.
I'd need this just to be able to unroot incase I need to send it in for service repair.
Can anyone recommend me a guide I should follow for the N7105?
Thanks in advance!
Drketan has several very good guides and mskips toolkit is what I used. I believe this also advises how to unroot.
You do know a rooted phone shouldn't invalidate your warranty, unless of course the rooting caused the issue, right?

Super su offers a full unroot option but remember to run triangle away first before you unroot

Yeh I used supersu

I was hoping to put the Pegasus kernel on to the phone, but I was worried that if I needed to go back to stock kernel etc, I couldn't since I can't take a backup of my current setup. Is there any way to backup my current stock kernel and ROM?
I'm currently running:
GT-N7105
Android 4.1.2
Baseband: N7105BVDMF2
Build Number: JZO54K.N7105XXDMF2

Yes there is. Just boot into recovery and look for backup to external sd card. Thats it

I think I phrased it badly - my fault!
I meant backup my current stock firmware and kernel, which means I have stock recovery and there is no backup option, only to reboot, update via adb, update via external sd, and the wipe cache +wipe data factory reset options.
Simply download the stock rom from Sammobile and you can reflash it as and when needed of course it will take you back to factory settings.
Or once rooted and you have twrp installed perform a nandroid back up.
I don't know how to perform a back up before you root.

I rooted my SM-900T with Kingo and then installed TWRP and CM 11. Everything installed and is working fine. I just want to know that if I decide to unroot that I do it the proper way.
Kingo will unroot my device but what I don't know for sure is the order I am suppose to do things. I assume I am suppose to use Kingo to unroot my phone then install the STOCK ROM? I am just unsure about TWRP, will that go away when I unroot or do I have to remove that?
If someone can let me know the correct order to do it I would be appreciative.
Thanks
Once you unroot and install the stock Rom you will no longer have the custom recovery TWRP.

Once I unroot with Kingo how will I install the Stock Rom without custom recovery, just use the stock recovery?

Ok so if I just put my phone into download mode and use Odin to flash the Stock Unrooted ROM via PDA it will revert the phone back to "Stock", unrooted and back to normal.
Just to make sure, it does not matter that I used Kingo to root though right? As long as I do what I mentioned above the phone will revert back?
Thanks!

Easy way: if you have kies installed on your laptop.... Just do a restore. Will put everything back to stock but your Knox will stay tripped unfortunately.

Try following these steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50335424 to wipe your phone then install a custom mk4 rom.

Took back to mc2 stock unroot.. Then root and install stock deodex 4.3 root.. Still giving error. Mobile hot spot unsupported

Mobile hotspot does not work on stock 4.3 deodexed roms without flashing the hotspot hack. You will need to find and flash the correct version hotspot hack for your rom. Ex. MA7, MC2, MK4, etc.
Do this: Flash Phil's recovery 6.0.7.9, wipe everthing, flash rom of choice (I recommend LorJay's stock deodexed MK4 without Note 3 features), upon first boot you may need to Odin flash the WiFi fix (from your PC only), then boot into recovery and flash the MK4 hotspot hack, reboot and setup phone, Success.
If for some strange reason you still get that error message when turning on mobile hotspot, I'd flash a custom AOSP ROM such as Slim ROM, Carbon ROM, etc. Those Roms have hotspot fully functioning right out of the box. Keep us posted.
Still no good. Thanks for suggestion tho. . Haven't tried asop but not a Fan. Any suggestions on wiping or formatting(how to) the internal part of phone to go from scratch.

Here you go. I recommend the Odin method.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086769
It seems as if Sprint has done something to your phone because everything you have dine should have worked. Something isn't right. That's why I suggested trying an AOSP ROM for the time being just to test this theory. Then you can flash back to stock or whatever you choose. You could also flash a custom Touch Wiz rom that has hotspot already working. If that fails you definitely got a phone that's been altered somehow by Sprint. I've yet to ever see this but I'm sure its very possible. Just my opinion.

Made an account just to reply to this. I was in the same boat, and tried that. Phone rebooted but couldn't take OTA. When it restarted after failed OTA install, went into bootloop. Had to reflash stock through ODIN and problem solved. Sorry man.
So Im running stock recovery and stock rooted 4.4. So that means I either wait for lollipop on Kies or Odin back to stock then take the OTA.

Not sure about this but Odin to stock and taking update will keep all your data if that is what you are worried about. Only issue is you might not be as smooth keeping your settings. I had some fc's and lag. So I reset to factory and restored apps and there was a huge speed and smoothness increase.
Im planning on reseting, trying to maintain setup on a major update always causes lag.
