I'm not sure and I want to know if I can install any rom G8 ( RIO- LXX) on this phone.
In the thread [ ROM ] [ 6.0.1 ] I see the B340 update changes the modem.img , as is a different model of mine , I want to make sure it will work .

Thanks for your answer. That's what I thought. Go directly to CM 13 .
But I also want to try with the original rom the RIO- L03 .
That model has 4G bands of Argentina . ( AWS B4 and B28 )
I thought if I install on my phone the modem.img that brings this rom ( RIO- L03 ) , these bands would function .
You think it is possible?
I should draw from the ROM to load normally?
Recovery?
System?
modem?
I know it's tedious answer these questions, but I do not have another phone. If I did, I would encourage me to experiment a little more .

Hi! I have the same situation - Huawei Maimang 4 ( RIO-AL00 ) dual sim and I want to flash non Chinese ROM.
Have you succeeded in flashing ROM for RIO-Lxx versions or CM13?
Flashed CM13 today. I had fallen into trap with bootloop because I wasn't reading careful enough... but after installation of modem_update.zip and wipe phone successfully booted and is working fine. Except only one sim is working and also fingerprint scanner is useless.
I'm going to use phone in this state for a few days and hopefully flash it to original firmware or custom ROM based on Chinese location (because I've missed backup stage) :silly:

I had installed modem_update.zip of CM13 and anything wasn't working - even 2G network.
Does anyone know good roms for maimang 5. Since CM cancelled their support?

RETIN and RETASIA ...both are same .... I've tested both ...no difference ....but baseband is different ..works fine

Baseband is the important part of the Firmware. As you say that they have different basebands. So which baseband version (RETASIA or RETAIL) is for Indian Moto Z Play?
Nobody is telling the exact difference between RETASIA, RETIN and RETAIL versions of Firmwares for Moto Z Play.

But there is no RETIN firmware for Moto Z Play. There are only two types of version for Indian Moto Z Play i.e., RETASIA and RETAIL. As you said you have checked the RETASIA version but what about the RETAIL version firmware for Indian Moto Z Play?

Yeah it's typo
There is nothing RETIN like thing .... RET means retail and IN means India
You will only find two firmwares RETAIL and RETASIA
I've tested both ...and works fine ...on both ROM you will get OTA update

Why my Moto Z Play become bit laggy after unlocking my bootloader? I am on stock Indian Nougat 7.0 ROM (latest updated March security patch) and have installed twrp recovery and Magisk Systemless root v12 without messing any system file/partition. Mobile seems little laggy/jerky sometimes in settings and apps. This problem was not before the unlocking bootloader and installing twrp recovery and Magisk systemless Root. I have also factory reset the mobile and also wipe the Dalvik cache, cache and Data through twrp recovery. But I didn't get any improvement then I reflash stock nougat rom. But the problem of laggyness/jerkyness still existed. What should I do? Any fix or any suggestion?

It's strange , I haven't faced any issues like yours on any ROM with SuperSU or magisk
Have tried flashing stock ROM with stock recovery ?
You can get from here [1]
I haven't tested 7 ( nougat ) from this link ...so i suggest you to flash 6 (mm) and get nougat through OTA

Q1. Yes I have installed the stock Nougat Rom (RETAIL version) with stock recovery but I still get laggy experince some times especially with jerky/laggy status bar and toggles.
Q2. And also please tell me that during installing stock nougat ROM, should I completely install all the files in zip like bootloader and modem files etc or just install system files, recovery,boot.img, without touching any modem files & bootloader?
Q3. Currently I am on stock nougat 7.0 Indian Rom, so please tell me 100% accurate safe method (adb commands) to install RETAIL nougat stock Rom.

Hey, Mate, I got lags on stock nougat even without root and twrp.
I really doubt that systemless root is to blame here, and definitely not TWRP, since there is no possible way it can affect system performance.

I have edited the build.prop to enable the miracast by removing just the # from the line and also edit hosts by adaway. Can it effect?

Because I heared on the cn rom are more software features implemented.
Because face unlock and root without breaking fingerprint reader with the China ROM. I just tried installing Black Magic 5G on my global 12/256, and it's currently stuck in TWRP, won't flash anything correctly, won't boot, I'm assuming it's a global ROM issue, I'm trying to figure out how to flash the China ROM so I can start over and try Black Magic 5G again to see if that improves my results, so far I can't even get it to flash.
But if anyone wants it, I found a mega link to the latest China ROM that's suppose to be flashable through the factory recovery or TWRP. I haven't been able to get it working in TWRP, but if anyone wants to upload a TWRP backup of stock 12/256 global ROM so I can revert back to factory recovery and try flashing the China ROM that way, would be appreciated.

Android 11 version of all 5G/S roms are universally able to flash.
you need to flash through system / local update, and you need to use the full rom zip.

--China rom is bloated heavily with chinese apps that wont work in other regions due to needing a Nubia account ( which can only be made using a Chinese registered Phone number)
--these apps can be frozen / disabled.
there is no gapps / playstore. you need to install playstore seperately and then install the various google apps you use.
--stock rom you cannot change the launcher without doing some little tweaks.
-- NFC does NOT function in China rom, if you use NFC or want to use NFC, you will have to return to Global.
you do not need to root, or unlocked your device to change regions. just make sure you're locally updated to android 11, and install the region rom you wish through the system menu.
