I think that the CiD.img file is unique for every device, which means that if you don't have a backup of the file you can't do much about it. Anyway thats my opinion, if someone else has a solution then you should wait.

yeah i did think that but from what ive read i think its ok to use someones else coz its drivers for the sim card too work..if it was a RAZA i could write a new CiD easy but it dont work that way with p6 ive tried lol
Hello technical people,
This is my first post, but I am a regular user of your forums, always find wisdom here.
I have encountered a problem while rooting and installing custom rom on my N7100.
I installed DN4 v2 ROM, everything seems to be perfect apart from the network.
On the notification bar, the network name shows when I scroll it down, this happens for any sim card I insert, but there is no signal.
I created a backup of the stock rom, but even that has the same problem when I try to restore it to original.
I believe you guys will be able to help me on this issue. I must add that I did not do an EFS backup, noob!!! Please let me know what other info you need.

GUYS. After searching around the net i managed to fix it. I will leave this post up for other fellas who have this problem. Unless there is already a solution in the forums then admin plz remove the post. Otherwise the solution was this:
I searched google for n7100 network repair. Found a patch from another forum (which i will not share here as i might be in trouble?) And then downloded the file. Ran recovery. Installed from zip and bingo !

I flashed DN4 ROM then when the Screen start there is no SIGNAL, it's showing, LIMITED SERVICE and the IMEI went to NULL/NULL. HELP ME OUT PLEASE. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Hello everyone,
I tried installing Root on my radio - after finishing with the device, it rebooted. Now it is stuck at booting logo lollipop.
I can not access recovery mode, the manufacturer sent me the OEM software but it did not work.
I've tried booting to recovery and resetting everything.. Didn't work.
Please, please help.

you need to go under settings /about machine and there should be a number like: MTCC-KLD_vs-2.89 for example. That will let everyone know the device you have

Agreed with matteo, please give us more info. What happened, what did you do prior to the phone being dead? Which QPST and which steps did you follow to flash the stock ROM, which stock ROM did you use in QPST? What OS did you use in the PC / laptop where QPST is installed, have you installed the drivers etc? Give us more details and we may be able to help. not knowing what went wrong there's not much we can suggest.

im trying to unlock my tablet using the method outlined here, but i have run into an issue. i keep getting an error and from what i have read it seems that it might be an issue with the file combination file im using. i searched and found a few others but im not sure which to use.
i have an SM-T830 wifi us model. i tried the COMBINATION_FAC_FA81_T830XXU1ARG4 file but it has not worked. i found the following files but dont know which to use:

You match the XXU to your firmware, so if your tablet has XXU3 YOU CAN Firmware, you must use a combination ROM with XXU3 as well.
I am in the same place. I think my version is xxu5 though. See attachment. I cannot find it anywhere. I'm going to try to make one I guess. I can't even access recovery. Only download mode. Anything I do in Odin fails. I have The tablet rooted with Magisk 25.2. I unchecked OEM unlock in developer options and accidentally rebooted instead of rechecking OEM unlock.
