Android N? - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hy broz.
I just installed the Beanstalk rom on my G3 and i downloaded an app called CPU X from the Store. I checked my OS info and i noticed it writes Marshmallow, Android N.
So maybe we will get the update to our D855 in the future?

well I dont think so because the quick translate app of LG did not work with cwm 10.1 at all, it does enter but out immediately and said that it doesn't support the device (I use titanium back up for backing it up and restore.
Quick Translate
I have the same problem
I try everything but nothing works
Can you manage a package with the Diodic and Quick Translator from stock rom that can work on Pacman rom 4.3 ?
Thanks

Hello friend
I am in Chennai, India.
But i am still in 10a version.
I dont see further update, still shows 10a is the latest firmware.
I have tried via both in OTA and through LG mobile support tool.
Both are telling 10a is the latest.
I don't know what to do!

Took my phone to service centre yesterday to get my charger changed. Since that guy was nice, i saw in his panel if they got beta kk for us and even they got 10a software with them.
That's initial version. Maybe you'll get it. I updated mine a few weeks back via ota (new delhi, reliance gsm)

No, even if we were to get android L booting on the G3 almost none of the hardware would work. We will have to wait for a) a full AOSP source code to be released, bootloader unlocking on the G3 and lots of development hours or b) LG to release an L build of their own.

Best place to ask is the android 1.4 HD thread.
But I'm pretty sure you can since you have a d855

Rooting on Lollipop 5.0

I just received my LG G3 today and updated to lollipop, not realising it was basically unrootable. Please tell me there is an option to root or atleast there will be soon? I cannot live without my Viper4Android app!
I can't believe I was so dumb to just install the update without considering the potential issues with rooting.
I updated my Nexus 7 to lollipop and quickly went back to KitKat using the Root Toolkit, so I didn't realise that we were having an issue with rooting lollipop devices. Or I wouldn't have updated at all.
I'm due another LG G3 tomorrow as the original company were out of stock, so I ended up going into the store and picking one up today, and ofcourse the original company just at that moment emailed me to confirm delivery for the following day.... anyway how far away are we from getting a solution... i will need to return one G3 so would it be worth returning the device i updated and keeping the G3 which will likely come shipped with Kitkat? Or will a solution likely be here soon?
Hope this makes sense, I've been up all night trying to root this *******.
Thanks!
Actually u can just install a custom lollipop rom which is already rooted or even install a stock rooted one too , it's up to u which one whould u like to return , for the updated one u can downgrade to kitkat using tot file and then root and get a custom recovery ... And install whatever u want
