I just installed the XDA suggested ROM to update to Android 6.0. Now I only have some basic apps and no Google Play related apps. Google Play, from the website, states that it cannot find the tablet. Please help.

I think you have to reflash everything again. Not sure though, but better safe than sorry.

Hi,
I have just bought Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 SM-P601 (WIFI 3G 16GB) version from China.
I am having so many issues with it because it doesn't has Google Services and Play Store.
Its details are:
Baseband Version: P601ZCUBMJ6
Build Number: JSS15J.P601ZCUBMJ6
Kernal Version: 3.4.39-1855211
Could you please recommend me some Stock ROM to fix this issue and get an English version of 4.3 with Google Services and Play Store?
Thanks

You can download any one of these, but use the MJB being the latest.

The link you posted(http://pan.baidu.com/s/1pJ3CPKZ) , for me leads to a bing search result page all in chinese or japanese, meaning it probably doesn't exist.
Questions:
1) Do you have another download link?
2) Is the english translation complete or only partial?
.

The link works. Use online translation to convert to English.
1. I will upload and post the link.
2. All the basic apps are in english. Theme apk was not in english.
3. No Google apps.

In the meantime I already followed another tutorial I found in the Oppo forum
And already upgrading to version 2.0.28_Beta via OTA
Still downloading, let's see what happens with Gapps on the 2.0.28
Cheers

Curious: is this a 'leaked' Beta build directly from Oppo? Also, what tutorial do you speak of? And how'd you get Gapps onto ColorOS?
Sorry for all the dumb questions. Absolute Oppo newbie here.

Just flash using Stock recovery. Does not require any tutorial.
I Flashed Google Apps from Here, but using a non-stock recovery.

Thanks for the tip! I followed your instruction on OP, worked well. Flashed using the stock recovery. Is there any OTA for this? Can't seem to use the built-in updater. Just says I'm on the most current version (and I'm still on 2.0.0, instead of 2.0.2?)

I have not tested with pa gapps. I used the one from post 9. But don't think it should be an issue.
Btw, I am using international Qhd version myself.
System fc all time, wiped etc, but no go: (
And now I have this graphical error all time on screen, a line thants sort off running down screen (even in twrp? ) and then starts on top again, oh crap whats this?
Do you know please? ?
Let it run first then. Install gapps
Yeah, but why this graphical glitch all the time? ???
Anyone knows?
That freaked me out, man hehe, went away after flashing twrp 2.8.0.1 through twrp manager and rebooted
Just wanting to double check- is this a leaked beta from Oppo of the English based kitkat or is this a link to the released Chinese kitkat rom?

You really won't need the stock recovery once you flash twrp unless you want to go back to stock.
Could you explain Encrypted Boot/Decrypted boot ? I'm a new user from huawei.

If I could extract the system.img properly (I always get some kind of error on Windows or Linux using about 4 different tools) I would be able to modify it and make one.

You need to flash the decrypted boot.img or the stock rooted decrypted rom I posted, then go into TWRP and wipe then format data. Then your internal storage will be recognized.

There are plenty of modded apks on XDA. Here's one:

I downloaded one of the APKs and tried to install it but it still said this app is not compatible with your device. This is my first time trying to do this so maybe I'm missing some obvious steps.
I found an old version here that work3d for me for Android Auto compatibility....
