Change wallpaper of app header - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

In the custom HTC themes, there is an element that is basically the background of an apps top header. I cannot seem to find this anywhere in the settings of the theme. Any ideas?

Create a custom theme (don't edit).
Select wallpaper first and then next page select Edit in the complimentary colour.
Then in this window press texture & colour.
There you go.

Thanks! Is this option available when editing a theme downloaded?

No. Only when you create initially, not edit subsequently.

That looks blue to me.
Either way you need open up the apk in question and search out the image used for the widget, then edit it to suit.
You'll probably find it in res/drawable-hdmi/

But if you know from which rom/theme/mod or whatever they are you can take the rom/theme/mod and extract them out of it and copy them in the zip from a existing mod(i.e perkamod). You find the icons in SytsemUi.apk in the folder /res/drawable-hdpi. Just open the apk with 7zip and copy them into a existing mod in the same folder and flash it
A similar look is in the AOKP rom.
(barrel larger, text bottom, not really what you mean, sorry)
In the rom-control menu is an option to change the look of the battery icon.
only icon
icon with text
...
But in that case the second is a rom related funktion,
battery barrel icons itself are without text.

What font is this?

The default "Roboto", it looks like, and it should already be your main font in ICS & JB.
FWIW, you can use the WhatTheFont search engine to id fonts (but I didn't have to in this case).
Just took a screenshot of my lockscreen. Same font.
Thank you very much!

Actually, it is under the "Advanced" option, not "Appearance", although that might be a better place to put it lol. Then tap "Home screen widget background" and set it to "Fully transparent".
