AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Sound issue is gone. Thanks Nitin. I will be test new build today a send here report.
Update: I tried GPS, BT, sound + headphones, OTG, HDMI and all is working good, no lags. Compared with CM 12.1 is manta now lively. I feel that I have a new tablet.

I've been fumbling around with the system tuner and can't find an option to change the open app animation. I went through all the animation options and could not find it. Is it not included yet or am I missing something?
Great ROM BTW I'm really enjoying the experience.

This may b be a stupid question but does the kernel in this rom force encryption? I'm just so used to it on my Nexus 6, I've got to ask.

I did a full wipe then install the ROM and gaps and supersu and then booted, it is taking an awful long time on the Android boot animation. Been 30mins so far....

I also went to the Dec 29th build direct given I see in comments it fixes sound.
Should I have done the "stable" 28th build then flashed the 29th over that instead?

29 build is fine...
SuperSu is also fine. Can you try with Bank's dynamic gapps...?

Still not getting passed Android boot animation. I've got latest TWRP. I've wiped each filesystem in turn. Then flashed aicp_manta_mm-11.0-UNOFFICIAL-20151229.zip , then flashed BaNkS_Dynamic_GApps_6.x.x_12-22-15_23_20.zip, then flashed BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip.
Any pre-req I missed?
It was on a stock Android 5.1.1 something before I started.

First of all clean flash the rom. Restoring backup of data won't work. And then try it.
At first I build the Rom with armani-dev kernel source and the camera is not working. But then I flash my latest PhanTom beta4 kernel and then the camera works without any problem. Even rebooting many times, camera is working.
Then I use my kernel for building this Rom with some patches over armani-dev kernel and suddenly it works without any problem except the video recording one.
If you still face any problem then let me know. :good:

Thanks for the quick reply man..well, I flashed the ROM after wiping cache data system.. Then I flashed rom then gapps..
In think I should rflash beta4 on this ROM. Will inform u. Thanks again
Edit: I reflashed the ROM following same order of wipe and flash, and this time camera worked somehow, idk but its working perfectly now. Just video recording isnt working. Thanks @hemantbeast

Camera working proof!!

WiFi Error
WiFi keeps disconnecting for a second then again connects on this rom.
It also happened on marshmallow based ROMs.
But on lollipop based ROMs it just worked fine.
Do you know a fix?

camera works fine...it works even after reboot...
I don't find any problem with Wi-Fi....

I have this problem with esternal SD with every nougat ROM that has the CM file manager. Using other file manager problem is not present.

This rom have OMS support?

this is all that i was searching for. this Rom has all features that i was looking for with OMS support. But No one could build such a beautiful ROM with All the features.

I found it a bit laggy.. Compared to AOSP extended. And blur feature isn't working properly. Rest all is awesome.

When phone loses wifi connection, often doesnt connect back by itself.
I have to go to wifi section in qs tiles by long pressing it, and thats "wakes" it up.
Anyone else with the same problem, and what could be solution for that?

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Be careful not to discharge the battery. If the battery is discharged, it is very difficult to turn on the device again.
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
You need to flash BootBlobs-SHIELD-mocha.zip from here
After flashing this bootloader, you can flash rom, gapps like other devices, of course, you need to full wipe before flashing rom
Be careful not to turn off the screen. The device can be a brick. (I'm not sure, but go through it a few times.)

Should you add gapps download link http://opengapps.org/ to the download section and perhaps tell ppl which gapps version they should download (arm, 7.1.2).
What kind of SOT (screen on time) ppl get with this rom? I know, I know, it depends what you do with the tablet but still, compared to highwaystars N-build for example.

About this - not working all high quality video 1080p60fps, 1440p30fs, not only in official Google You Tube app. It's about any online video streaming. There is problem with video decoding caused not fully adapted blobs?.
And I have graphical glitches in Google Planet Earth application. In Lineage Os 14.1 NST I don't see anything like this......

Dude, camera is not working in _any_ ROM based on shield blobs. Even the AICP description says that camera is not working. U did read the description , right?
Accept it and move on or try some other rom based on other blobs:
