Is there a working root yet for T-Mobile version or anyone know how to return the phone back to stock. Remember please I know a bit about rooting and custom Roms but it's been a while since last phone I rooted was a LG 3D like 8 years ago lol so I'm just now getting back at it so go easy on me lol.

I really am tired of reading how Sprint, T-Mobile and International Note 2s have gotten their stock firmware available for download. Is there ANY way someone here can link me to or give me the stock unrooted firmware for AT&T Galaxy Note 2 SGH-i317M ? I really want to Unroot my phone. I rooted it a couple of days ago using the Saurom ROM to get the multi-view on my phone. I used CWM recovery and Odin to make a backup of my phone's img prior to installing Saudom ROM. That means that the img of my phone that I backed up is the rooted version right?
Please help. I don't quite like the way my phone works while rooted. This is scary territory and I just want to go back to the way it was when I bought it I'll just wait for the ligit update from AT&T that will be coming hopefully later this month. So if anyone can provide me with the unrooted stock AT&T Note 2 Firmware, I would GREATLY appreciate it.
And I'm a noob so talk slowly

It took a few weeks after device release before Official tar got dropped on other carriers .
The same will be the case for ATT version.
The good news for Sprint etc they had developers capable of turning system dump into tar a couple days after device release.
Unfortunately are development isn't up to such task so were sol.
On a positive note - no pun intended.

Hello,
2 Days ago my phone unlocked galaxy note 2 in the uk stopped working in the middle of the night, no idea how, My borthers phone stopped the same night also.
My friends note 2 got an OTA update the next morning but his is working fine.
SInce then my phone wont go past the first boot screen, it is completely stock and has no custom rom or root.
I took it to a samsung repair centre they put it in DL mode and they said i had a custom rom and they cant help..
Iv come home and i have tried to now flash a new firmware, i have then tried to flash CWM via odin but it comes up with a message..
No pit partition
then it fails...
Anyone have any ideas? what has caused this the OTA update? Both me and my brother bought the phones directly through samsung trade but my friend bought his through phones 4 u..
The update my friend got was N7100xxdmb2
ANy ideas or help is greatly appreciated
mods please delete, posting in AT&T thead in error, need internation thread...
Hi,
Apologies if I`m in the wrong forum. If I am please direct me to the right one, thank you...
I can`t find the stock recovery for Samsung galaxy S4 active gt-i9252
I`d appreciate a quick reply here as I have to ship it back to Samsung on Sunday morning.
I bought the device 3 weeks ago and it has been freezing daily ever since.
Now I want to send it back for replacement and I`m afraid leaving the CWM I have installed might void my warranty. I was given to understand the only way to uninstall CWM it is to flash via odin the stock recovery. I`ve uninstalled root and I`m running on the stock rom.
If anyone has any other idea how to go about it, or can point me to where I can download the stock recovery, I`d be very thankful!
I am wondering if I will ever be able to install a custom recovery on my Verizon S4 Mini (SCH-I435). I used Kingo to root, but I don't really want to mess with the phone too much, because if I screw it up, there is no coming back from it. Do we know if anybody is working on extracting the stock Odin image files for this model?
As much as I LOVE the S4 Mini, if this model can't be hacked more than just root, I may return it for the Moto X.
Thanks.

I have all the partitions extracted but have had no luck building a Oden file. Keep getting Fail with oden.
And signature verification errors in recovery.
Tried to build recovery, but its beyond what I know how to do.
I have a Rom ready, just waiting on recovery to test it.
I am fairly new to samsung, been on HTC's for years. Ive soft bricked my first mini, so I know how you feel.
I was ok with the mini til they blocked wifi tether hotspot in the VRUAMK5 update.
I'm willing to do whatever I can to get this device going. If not, gotta move on
It seems like its gonna be a while.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
the Verizon model i435 can do a recovery to factory through the Verizon upgrade and repair app if you ever need to go back to stock.
Any news/developments on this? I'm really hoping to get CWM recovery installed.
It's hard without having adb during boot or odin to see exactly where what i have is going wrong. thinking around the bootloader method is going to do it but how is my question now cause i keep getting kernel: fail crap from knox i believe
I froze, then deleted all things knox. Here's hoping that doesn't mess my noise up.
Any updates on recovery? Sorry if this bumps a dead thread.
Hate to dig up old threads. but i have been working on some development on this device, mostly putting it on Straighttalk.
I have 2 of the same phones that are both working on Straighttalk and AT&T.
Heres where im at right now:
Rooted.
Android 4.4.2
baseband I435VRUBNE1
BUILD # KOT49H.I435VRUBNE1
SE "ENFORCING"
Now i used THIS THREAD to install a recovery onto the device (3.75 BETA Version)
all i need is someone to develop the recovery for the mini instead of the note 3...
ANY HELP?

The safestrap recovery dpi is all messed up so theres no way to test it out. i have 2 phones that i can try this out on but i have no idea how to change the graphics interface to match the resolution so the buttons are correctly placed on the screen...
My friend asked me to flash his samsung galaxy s3 from virgin mobile back to 4.1.2 stock, he updated to 4.3 but its having a lot of troubles with the apps and stuff, I couldnt find a forum featuring the virgin brand here, but it seems to be the same model as sprint SPH-L710. Now I cant find the correct stock rom for his phone and a noob friendly guide to do it using odin. Im not new to flashing but I havent done it in a while and besides I always did it on my samsung galaxy S from tmobile which it has its own forum and everything was at hand and i was always sure I was using the correct files. Can someone point me in the right direction to find all I need to make a nice flashing? His device its unrooted and he doesnt want to root, he also has de 16 gb model if that makes any difference.

If he Updated to 4.3 he's pretty much stuck with it, You cannot at the present time downgrade to 4.1.2 . If you try to downgrade the Bootloader you will have a very expensive paperweight, But you can Root 4.3 . If he changes his mind , and wants to Root it. THIS is one of the methods people are using to root 4.3 . Also there is another HERE. But before doing anything I would suggest a bit of reading, and research .
