Hi!
has HTC changed the theme format in Sense 8? For example, when I try to switch the color scheme of my current theme, the theme app shows some color schemes but not all schemes of my downloaded themes. So I created a new theme with the maker pro (themes.htc.com).including a color scheme but it is not showing up. Even more strange, applying the theme does only partially apply the color scheme (app drawer stays unskinned).
It seems that HTC changed some settings regarding the theme format in Sense 8that the theme maker is not yet updated to match these changes. I fear a big mess in the mixup of old and new themes. Maybe it is just me and I am wrong, but has anyone also experienced some strange behaviour regarding themes?

I will start this topic to put your imagination to another direction - color scheme.
Its really so simple to make another color scheme to cool SlidingPane theme. Just make some colors with photoshop or simple color picker and if you wont some cool wallpaper and thats all.
This is my first color cheme. The wallpaper is based on default scheme, but with hue I make it blue and the all scheme is blue too. I like this blue because is darker - like the blue light on the s620 buttons, and the combination is fine for me
Just extract these two files in \Application Data\Home folder and change the color scheme to "Another blue"
If you make your own theme, please just upload it here, to share with us.
NICE WORK!!
Black
Hi, here's the black scheme taken from last version of Kavana's.
Enjoy.
ratatouille, they need black_LS.gif file from windows dir too to see the wallpaper.
Here it is black theme based on green one:
I only had this file and modified my screen with base hue and I had a tone of black more black than the original scheme, kind of like it. You should try, looks shiny.
Awesome Dude
Littleclown, you are the man, awesome, beautiful dude. I'm using basehue Gold with the blue........!
Another dark scheme, this time with some cool skulls on the wallpaper.
Thanks, you guys are awesome!
A user over on the Vox forums has already done much of the work on this. Check it out at this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376552
They work great using the new Kavana 6.1 ROM on my 'Dash.'
Yes this is not a bad idea.
But this schemes uses so simple gradient wallpaper...
If you wont something else - use some free wallpapers, a little tunning with photoshop and emagination... I will try to make some more schemes these days, but everybody can post here schemes.

Doesnt the new rom have a hue color changer installed? or was that the chinese version?
Yes it does. Just doesn't have the shortcut in Start folder. Now my blue matches
I use the black color theme with this as my wallpaper, works out pretty well imo.
edit1: actually it exceeded the forum limit, let me upload it somewhere\

Can someone be kind enough to post the CHome*.cpr file from \Windows.
This is where the action is really is. This is the config file that you can modify the homescreen.
Thanks
I have just started using this ROM and am loving it. One thing I have noticed is that for some apps the fonts are white on white background?? This mkes it impossible to read. Also some widgets with multiple background colour choice only appears as white making it very difficult to chose background. I am actually using a suave theme. I am not sure whether this is MIUI-XJ problem or the theme problem. Please help if you do know how to sort it out.
Change the theme and see if it helps.

its usually a theme thing, especially if you change parts of a currently used theme. Sometimes a reboot after applying a new theme can tidy things up a bit (like fonts). Best way to check is to reapply the default theme, if problem resolves, then its the theme that needs tweaking.
Hi all,
when I apply custom theme, I can't set DIALER color to anything but WHITE, which I hate
I go to DIALER color settings, but what ever I choose, it is WHITE.
Maybe I am doing something wrong, please help.
Thank you.

The colours you can choose depend on the settings the creator of the theme chose at HTC Themes. Easiest way for you to get a different colour than white is to sign up and create your own theme. Just make sure that you're using the theme maker pro as the normal one doesn't have the option to change the dialer colour.
Its purely theme dependent. Its not an issue with the phone nor the dialer, nor you. Starlight is a nice complete theme if you need to try one.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

Thanks @Flippy498 and @shivadow, I have totally forgot about MAKER PRO. It works flawlessly.
Hello everyone, this theme is a better (in my opinion) version of the stock EMUI 5.1 theme.
Things I changed:
- App icons (imported from the Pacific Blue EMUI theme)
- Changed the background of the notification bar from transparent black to dark grey
- Disabled the dividing lines in settings

Enjoy
Excellent thank you. Minor changes that improves the theme. Using it on my Honor 8 Pro. One last thing I would personally like is blue message bubbles instead of green in the messaging app.

Thanks, I will try to improve the theme when I have some free time, so stay tuned
This is a really great theme, but on my P10 the font weight seems a little to heavy.
I didn't change the font, the font is the stock Huawei font
Yea default it changes to some bold font
I agree. After applying this theme every font became bold, including the google keyboard.
WARNING TO ALL:
Even after changing back to stock theme and trying other 3rd party themes and restarting the phone, everything is still bold font!

I managed to change the font back to stock, but widget fonts are also messed up (see attached screenshots).
Can a factory reset solve this issue?
If you want to reset the font, just apply this theme. https://goo.gl/eqCJMe

White should be great for notification panel!
This is a very nice theme.
Now I'm stuck with bold font
EDIT : I found a fix! Check the comments again.
Is this possible?
If not, can anyone recommend a theme in which the ONLY thing changed is the accent colour?
Hopefully Samsung adds this option in future updates.

Download hex installer from google play. You can configure high contrast theme to your preferences.
Download goodlock app from galaxy store. You can use the "quickstar" settings to customize the color of the quick settings.

You made my Day!
I gave a try to Samsung Good Lock app and it's pretty good, but changes only the accent colour of quickstart menu (phone, messages and other components were still in blue).
I solved using #Hex Installer - Themes for OneUI (as suggested by Poedra13). I have created my custom theme with desired accent colour then I switched to dark mode from the #Hex app and everithing works like a charm. Now the whole UI and also the others apps have my custom accent colour.
