LG G3 cyanogenmod 13 update has broken my phone. Stuck on bootloop. - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello so I flashed cm13 way back in January. Recently the last few nightlies have really messed my phone up. Randomly crashing and got worse before it now bootloops for no reason. I booted up in twrp and read to wipe everything and flash latest nightly again. Did that except now twrp starts the flash before it boots onto the LG screen. It stays like that and I have to remove the battery. Basically it starts to flash before stopping the flash and booting the phone after a few seconds. Phone will only boot into twrp but same thing again. I feel like I have wiped the system so surely flashing the nightly will work. At the moment I have no phone and really not happy. Can someone help? Bit of a noob to this.

Best solution for you is to flash a stock rom using LG Flashtool. You can never go wrong, after that you can root and flash any rom of your choice. Avoid flashing cm nightly, try the stable versions.

Random reboots after 5.0.2 upgrade

I impatiently flashed the Korean firmware of 5.0.2 to my tablet, and after I got it switched to English, everything seemed to be working fine. However, I've been noticing that at least once an hour it reboots itself, for no rhyme or reason. I thought heavy activity caused it, but just now it was sitting there doing nothing and it rebooted itself again. Is this a known issue? Did I do something wrong?
I thought about going back to the US firmware, but when I tried flashing back, it got stuck at the Samsung logo. The only thing I could do to fix it was flash it back to Korean. Did I screw myself?
Kitkat firmware requires the data and cache partition to be wiped in recovery before it will boot.

Bootloop even after installing fastboot rom.

I was having boot loop while installing cm 12.1 i could boot if i unplug the battery and leave te phone for half an hour. When booted the phone has no problems. But the problem is while booting. It gave me constant bootloops. So i decided to do a complete factory rom change. So i flashed fastboot rom vi mi flash tool. Still the problem persists te phone is looping with a blue flash at the top.
A bit too late, sorry, but I think I have had some minor issues after flashing a fastboot rom few times.. I think it can be solved by entering MiRecovery, cleaning cache and then rebooting from recovery to system. If the system is not booting up in 5 minutes, it's not fixed. On the other side, maybe you haven't done it right or something is wrong with your file. I recommend doing it again with v45 Miui5 fastboot Rom. That one always works for me.
Anyone to help ??
Only way to make it booting is installing rr rom. With beast v5 kernel. That too with multiple reboots while android upgrading progress
I tried miui5 and i have twrp. I think this is happening by improper kernel configuration.
As i told earlier i can use phone awesomely by installing RR rom with beast v5 kernel.

TWRP starts to flash but can't complete

My D855 LG G3 won't flash. I rooted and installed cm13 back in January.
Last month it has been playing up and now shut down completely in a bootloop. Tried wiping the rom clean and reinstalling. Except now twrp starts the flashing process before it boots into the LG boot screen where it stops.
I can't begin to flaah recovery because it does the same thing. Boots before it has a chance to start flashing.
So I now have a device with no OS and no way of flashing an OS onto it.
Can someone help. Please because I'm not skilled enough to know how to fix this

This doesnt quite seem like a boot loop... Help?

So my phone has been perfect for over a year. Within the first month of owning it I rooted, installed TWRP, and jumped on CM13. Been updating nightlies all year long once every week or so and enjoying the phone. Its really been perfect. Tonight after work I jump in my car, throw it on my car charger, and drive home. When I get home I notice for some reason I have no cell service (Emergency Call Only) so I reboot. That was the end. The reboot got stuck on the CM boot screen flashing the circle out around the CM face over and over and over. So, I pop the battery, try again, same thing.
Well, being that I have rooted and flashed for years now I figured Id wipe dalvik and cache. Tried that, same thing. Did a full wipe and reinstalled the nightly from my SD card. This time I thought I made progress as it set up all the apps. Then it just hangs on "starting apps" and then it sits there forever. Never boots. Doesnt loop or restart or anything, just says its starting apps.
So, jump on here and find the bootloop issue. My serial is 505x so I was wondering if maybe thats my issue. Decide to download the all in one flash zip from here...

and I flash that. Stock rom works without any issue. Fired it up, logged in, no problems. Huh. Do a restart and even though I flashed that file it still shows bootloader unlocked as the LG logo comes up, and boots into TWRP as normal as well. Figured well I flashed a stock rom, lets give CM13 a try again. I download a fresh nightly through my pc and transfer it over via usb so I know its good. Full wipe, flash, reboot, hangs at "starting apps" again.
Now I am lost. The stock rom sucks and my love for this phone is based around what it is with CM installed. Am I missing something here? I really want to get back to CyanogenMod and away from the clunky slow stock rom.
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
EDIT: Well went through the Android setup steps after flashing the stock rom so I would have a phone until this was all figured out. Turned out its not working. After setup I am not getting "Process System Isn't Reponding: wait or close" No matter what I do the phone is so slow or laggy I cant use it. Its trying to download my apps and restore my phone from my Google account but it just hangs up. No idea what to do at this point. Is my kernel messed up? Its a totally clean flash. What the heck. 3am, I give up, hopefully someone has insight in the morning. Thank you all.

You really have to investigate by adb. Look into the dmesg output and logcat as well. Maybe your sdcard is corrupt or 100 other issues are possible as well. What device do you own? H811? unlocked?
.

There are several users reporting that the latest cm version bootloop the best option is to start in download mode and Flash with LGUP Stock ROM.
You could also try to boot into Download Mode and then flash the latest twrp and then Boot into Factory Reset Mode again

LG D855 stuck in boot loop, even after factory reset

Hello,
I have a LG G3 D855 with unlocked bootloader and TWRP 3.0.2-0 and it had a relatively recent build of the official LineageOS ROM.
Everything was running fine, until suddenly, during a phone call, it shut down, and since then, each time I try to turn on the device, the LG logo appears for 20 seconds, disappears for 2 seconds, and then appears again, over and over again. I can still access the recovery thou.
So I have tried wiping everything, including system, data, and caches, repairing file systems, reinstalling the newest version of lineageOS, (my SD card slot doesn't work so i had to push the ROM file to the data partition using adb and installing it from there). I also tried using a different battery, and the same problem persists.
I am kinda hopeless now so I would appreciate any help I can get.
Many thanks.
I have the exact same problem. It started when I upgraded to latest TWRP. Flashing back to the normal TWRP didn't solve the problem and the boot looping is persistent now and TWRP is inaccessible.
I flashed to stock rom using LG flash tool 2014 and no matter what I try it still loops indefinitely with the new OS installed.
