I've bought a network unlock code for my LG G3 D855 and when I'll try to open the menu for the network unlock I just get the following message: "This phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked.".
There is only a "Dismiss" Button in the middle of the display and thats it.
I've installed the officially Android 6 for my G3 and rooted it. Is there any other way to unlock it? Might be a reinstallation of the rom help?
Thanks in advance!

Hey, there is any chance that when I change my android from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 my phone to be sim locked again? Now my phone is unlocked but I have to Ideea how the was unlocked and I wonder if my phone will be locked again when I change my rom. The problem is that when I dial 2945#*975# and I choose network lock it says "this phone is permanently locked and it can not be unlocked" so I dont know what to do, I am afraid that when I do change the android my phone will become permanently locked.
If someone can expalin me it would be great. Sorry for my bad english.

Of course.
All,
I'm having issues unlocking my H815 LG G4. I enter the proper IMEI and device information into the location on LG's developer website to unlock it but then I get an error which I have attached.
This has been discussed many times before.
You need a region specific H815 in order to unlock your bootloader. A specific EU variant is the only one that LG supports unlocking right now. My Taiwanese specific G4 is not supported. If you'd like, you can msg LG and pile on the requests to unlock all H815 variants, but I believe they said they wouldn't.
Good luck!

Any Ideas on how to root without bootloader unlocked?
Im having the same issue the only difference is that my LG G4 h815 is the EU open market variant which is the one that can only unlock bootloader im getting the message saying everything is correct but cannot unlock bootloader, i contacted lg support dev, the answer from them is that i cannot unlock my G4, this is bull**** i pay i want full control of my phone. hope someone can come up with a way to root this device without unlocking the bootloader just like with the G3 model.
Returned mine and bought another straight from a site in the UK. Went without a hitch.
Hey, I am helping out a mate and have run into a bit of a conundrum. He has a ATT LG G4 (H810) that he purchased from America and has recently moved back to Australia. I have offered to help him unlock his phone so I purchased an unlock code online but when I attempted to enter it I got "This phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked". The SIM Unlock Process menu could be accessed using 2945#*810# However the network unlock option yields "This phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked" and each other option states "Your phone is not personalised".
Currently the phone is on Android Lollipop and I have managed to root it. I would just like to know if there is a possible way to unlock it.
Cheers.
I tried to root my Nexus 5x following the guide here on XDA Developers, but it wouldn't boot after installing SuperSU. I flashed the default image from google back but then it started asking for a "SIM network unlock PIN" and will only make emergency calls. I also tried flashing a custom ROM and it still asked for the unlock pin.
My mobile provider says that the IMEI isn't in their system so its not locked to them, and they suggested I go to LG about a Master Unlock Code. LG says they cant make a master unlock code because it is a factory unlocked model.
Hello everyone
I'm stuck in a horrible situation here if someone might be able to help would be a great help.
So basically I want to Unlock my phones bootloader but it happens to be that the Phone network is broken, I mean there is some issue with the motherboard where even If you insert a Sim it shows No SIM as. So I've been using this device just for surfing Yt and stuff.
So when I try to unlock the bootloader by going into the Developer option > Unlock Status and it needs a SIM card inserted to add device and account.
Is there a work around to bypass this.
What I have tried so far using MI unlock tool but it throws error.

after long time searching and tryng out both official and non official methods for unlocking bootloader, or at least bypass it I find this method which was 100% perfectly worked and made me able to flash any other custom rom or recovery
