The Pure Nexus Project
We are not responsible for anything that may happen to your devices as a result of installing this ROM. you do so at your own risk and take the responsibility upon yourself.

NP man!
link for GAPPS is bad
This is great. gonna try out the new Android N DP 3 first then probably switch over to this. I'm sure DP3 is still very beta.
Just a heads up the link for the GAPPS is showing the text "404 not found" message when I click the link.
Any chance you can re-upload the GAPPS or is there another link you can supply.
Thanks so much for all your hard work on this. I love my NP.

Good luck man! Have fun.
You may want to update the changelog based on a different devices PN changelog. If you copied the one from DHackers OP, it was quite dated. For ex. we are on 6.0.1_r44 now.
Oh and a quick heads up. Nate is rebasing EVERYTHING.
If you want to try to update Fugu to the new base, sync PN in with the branch mm2 selected.
Good Job Guys
Cool, does this ROM have usb camera support for skype?
Thanks for doing this!
Is this a tablet interface or android TV interface?
Android TV interface (leanback launcher)

awesome thanks for the info!
im thinking of just updating when every one else does because im busy with school atm
Most excellent news and congrats, but concentrate on school for sure.
Will the Android TV launcher stay the one dhacker had built in, the one that is semi configurable? Thinking of retiring my Moms Roku and giving her my NP since the launcher is so much less cluttered.

If you have any questions, hit me up on Telegram (same username) or Hangouts ([email protected]).
Quick note, Leanback Launcher NEEDS to remain 'PRESIGNED', and the cert needs to be Google's. Otherwise you won't be able to use any of the services that tie into Leanback Launcher. Unfortunately, with ATV, the vendor repo needs to remain almost untouched to prevent signature errors.

Don't count on a reliable openGapps. It's a really weird build compared to normal Gapps. I can send you a homebrew script to pull updates if you want to build your own, or just hit me up in pm and I can add a new build to my AFH folder on release days. I'm subscribed here as well.

I flashed it over January build and it works fine.
Gonna flash later today. Question tho. I've been having issues with Netflix on Feb build. Am I missing something and will this 1 fix that? Right now I just use the phone version of Netflix.

Update!
Sorry guys, I have been thinking about this for a while and honestly I just do not have the time at the moment to maintain this Rom. I am however working on some other great things that will hopefully come soon. I had recently lost my job at DirecTV due to layoff's but I have a job offer as a Manager at Intel, so hope that works out. I applied at the FBI as well and they will hire me but due to surgery I could not pass the physical at the time. But with dedication I will get there. Please feel free to make changes or modify this rom in any way you'd like. Just shoot me a PM and ill host it for you. Thanks for your time, and thank you for your dedicated support. I appreciate all the kind words.

Bugs:
4/20/15 Build 1.5 has no weather widget. Currently being worked on.
Have noticed a bug when first launching and selecting wifi, says it fails to connect. But works fine, only time the message may appear is at initial boot
App preloader will run after reboot bringing back a lot of bloatware. Can be fixed by running root uninstaller manually but I am working on having this issue resolved in the next build, which should be in the afternoon 4/19
Also initial boot does take about 10 minutes to boot. Remember to wipe then flash, I have not tried
to dirty flash the rom, but I wouldn't recommend it.

#2 Install the APK from REVO89

Quick question, how is this ROM considered to be debloated? There's still a bunch of Sprint bloat (Music Plus, Family Locator, NASCAR, etc) that came with the flash, and more was put on there by the Amazon Preloader. Also there is still loads of Samsung bloat such as PEN.UP and the ANT+ Radio Service. I'm not flaming or anything at all. Did I do something wrong or misread somewhere?

I left Pen.Up just because I do like the Spen apps, ANT+ was left intentionally as well for sports bands and stuff. As far as the Sprint Bloat, that shouldn't be there. Did you perform a full wipe before installing? Also was it the newest version 1.1 that did it? I'll check it out more throughly in the morning, I could have just made an error when uploading this version

Changelogs
As we're getting back into the thread game, keeping up with threads and updating them as per changelogs can be too hectic given our schedule. However, very detailed changelogs always go up on our Google+ page, follow us for constant updates!
Instructions & requirements
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Mini/Nano and Banks GAPPS work best.
Understand that Paranoid Android is a custom ROM and it might lead to addiction as it's relatively good. We shouldn't be accused of anything just incase your cat starts drinking wine. Things get a little woozy in the Paranoid World.
Some brain might be involved if things go wrong. Not a lot though, as much to solve what's 1+1.
Okay let's get to the main bit -
Once you have all the required files - boot into recovery and wipe the bananas out of your device. Get into the wipe menu and wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache (basically everything except Internal Storage).
Once wiped, get into the "Install from zip" menu and select the ROM zip. (pa_bacon_6.x...). Once added to the install queue, TWRP will ask you if you want to add more zips into the queue - Click on "add more zips" and select the GAPPS package.
Swipe the bar on the bottom to flash/install zips. Once both zips are done installing - Reboot into system and set-up your device, do not do anything else.
Once you're done setting up your device - well that's when you're done. One thing though - Make sure you DO NOT INSTALL any other zip in the same queue as the ROM & GAPPS. Meaning, do not flash anything like a kernel or a root package while installing the ROM. We recommend you do that AFTER you're done setting up your device.

Welcome back guys,
I do have a question, is there any chance you guys have also given some magic to the camera? Because I thought you guys are affiliated with oneplus, maybe having access to the good stuff ^.^?
Don't currently have the time to reinstall my phone, so can't test it myself.
Kind regards,
domistroy
6.0.1 is a great update to 6.0, lots of issues ironed out that were plaguing the initial release, congrats and thank you!
I just think that the in-call volume could get a bit more love, I remember it being far louder on the previous ROM I used daily, Sultan's CM13. It is still too low and some static noise can be heard in the background while talking to someone.

I don't use themes to be honest, always tend to run Android the way Google meant for it to look and feel.
Maybe you should try reinstalling the theme itself and try again how it goes.

In that case I don't know really, mine is working just fine, no force closes even when I open the Themes app. The only difference from my setup and yours is that I'm always using OpenGapps, but yet again, don't know how would that impact the theme engine...
You probably have something else installed that might be causing it.
What camera blobs that this rom using??
Hopefully otg usb will work soon!
Thanks for the awesome rom!
Awesome you guys are back i haved always loved to switch roms from PA to CM back and forth because both roms are amazing and now i get to have pa mm on my opo The new boot animation is killer too
For those FCs with Themes and Themes Provider, please clear the apps data and reboot. It's in the G+ pages but probably needs a FAQ here too.
FWIW not all themes work, even with CMTE. I'm guessing some work is needed either in the TE side or by the theme's Developer

Hard to say for certain. The updater-script requires /system to be EXT4 though.

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. Our main goal is to offer users a slimmed down yet feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by our public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
Slim7 is the project name for SlimRoms based on Android 7.1.x Nougat, which offers the following original features:
-Slim Navbar & Hardware key rebinding
--Single tap action, long press action, double tap action! - We’ve got you covered.
-Slim Actions & Chamber of secrets
-- Customise your device to the fullest - You’re a wizard!
-SlimRecents
--A faster alternative to stock recents - Your device, your choice.
-SlimLauncher
--An open source, feature filled launcher! - Make yourself at home
-Status bar customisations
--Clock and date? Battery? - More fun than you can shake a stick at.
Important links:
https://slimroms.org/ - Official website with anything SlimRoms related
Installation steps:
-You MUST unlock your device's bootloader in order to install Slim; I won't cover this area, however you can look it up here in the forums or ask me anything about it.
- Install the latest TWRP
- Download the latest build, gapps (optional). Place on internal storage or an sdcard.
- Reboot into recovery mode
- Wipe --> Advanced wipe --> data, cache, dalvik, and system. This is a clean flash, therefore you will lose your apps and their data; (sd and storage are not mandatory to wipe, so anything in there's going to be fine if you don't do it) remember to back those things up if you want to keep them.
- Install the build, the gapps and the root zip if you're going to root.
- Done! Reboot and enjoy. Remember the first boot always takes a few minutes.

Edit: @fireball0093 can you include this fix in your roms?
Thanks for working on this device dude.

Added it to OP. If any dev has video natively working when they compile ROMs, please send me a PM

Just installed Gravitybox and tested myself, looks like the same issues here. A reboot after applying some different settings didn't work, the only thing that seemed to work was brightness control under status bar. I'm compiling a personal build of Slim for my G4 Play and when it's done I'll try there too to see if it's an issue with the ROM sources itself or if it's phone-specific.

Gravitybox does say custom rom use is hit or miss so it's not surprising. I know slim is missing a few features so using gravitybox is desired, but still not surprised.

Like many similar modules GB works best on close AOSP clones. That said, it works fairly well on most ROMs excluding areas of direct overlap like navbar, quick settings and status bar tweaks. I ran Slim on a different device and don't recall significant issues with GB compatibility. But that was awhile ago; things may have changed.
Thank you for the ROM. So far working great!
I am one of the voters who voted for Slim ROM so I am really happy to see it live.

I really appreciate it, thank you. I'm currently starting development of a kernel, but I plan on releasing a new update to Slim in a few days in case they update sources to the February security patch, and I want to include a messaging app and some kind of browser right out of the box, that way it's a bit more convenient when first setting it up. Someone also found a way to get LTE working for CDMA, only tested on Sprint currently, but we're going to be working further with that to try and incorporate at least part of the fix, I'm going to see if they can get a guide up on here for everyone for the rest of it

New update in OP. Nothing major, just a few upstream source changes. I personally like ROMs to be updated until the source stops updating, so expect a crDroid update soon too. Dot no longer is updating their Nougat branch (To my knowledge) so I don't think there will be an update for that, but I'll check regardless. In a few weeks I'll (hopefully) be releasing a custom Kernel I'm working on too if all goes as planned!

Hi, this is CarbonoidOS by CarbonROM.
These are pre-release builds that are meant for public testing. It is released under the CarbonoidOS name to differentiate itself from official CarbonROM builds. Please read up as much as you can before posting any questions in this thread.
For those that follow us, you know that we have been grinding since the hour the first few Android Pie repositories dropped. The Core-Team, ROM, and device developers have been collectively working on getting private builds up to our release standards, which we are still far from. I have been specifically working on feature bring up, a link to my progress will be somewhere below. Although I have been running these builds as my daily driver, I do not recommend these builds to the average user. Flash at your own risk, but try to have fun.
Disclaimer:
These builds are considered personal and are not sanctioned by CarbonROM. They include Google Apps and have not been tested with any other packages, aside from the TWRP installer. There will be bugs. The point of these builds is not to solve device side bugs, but to give a sneak peek of what the features of cr-7.0 will be. These builds are different from the unofficial builds that will be posted later. You will not be able to transition to those builds from these without clean flashing.
When posting bug reports, do:
Provide details of additional modifications
Provide any logs possible
But don't:
Leave any of the above out
Post without reading the whole OP
Quote the whole OP
Expect me to address any bug reports
Tag me in bug reports thinking I'll address them
If you don't follow these simple guidelines I will probably ignore you.
Known bugs (not working):
None that I know of

If you need install instructions, you probably shouldn't be trying to flash this...

I'm using a private GApps repo, the collaborators are not letting it out to the public due to previous issues (I heard there's an unofficial OpenGApps floating around...)

OpenGapps aren't working for me (unofficial ones)

I know the this rom is in beta, but how is it for whoever's running it. I wanna flash it but just wanna find out if there's anything that might hold back certain people from using it. I'd flash it in a heartbeat but stuck at work and no way to go back to stock if I decide it isn't that stable enough. Thanks for any feedback.
Awesome work Adin and Carbon team, thanks!! :highfive:

Somehow back camera works for snap tho.

The only issue I had was some pretty consistent crashing of ambient display... however if I let the phone reboot and waited for the system to time out/screen off (at Boot by itself) and then powered up/unlocked it would work without incident.
Everything.. Bluetooth-GPS-Calls-Data-NFC works. Very smooth and I can't wait to see the finished product. I try not to post too much, but really I need to say Thank You.
@ FkM and @draymond1987. Every one of you guys is outstanding (including OP). Just want all of you guys to know how much it is appreciated by the community to have all of these options. @deedwar @Pimpmaneaten and the ABC team... I am the result of constant trial & error and following the friggin instructions.... Been Flashing since like 2010 (I don't really don't know what year it is now) and all you guys just keep on going... keep killin' it, my friggin hero's... :good: There are 10000 more people in the background working on this s*** and please feel free to forward it (if they would care for a pat on the back) . Keep 'em coming... Great work!

Thanks for your kind words! Off topic: @deedwar has been an amazing help to me. and taught me a lot. I just am a simple builder. Other devs, including OP, have answered questions too. I still am building, behind the scenes. OP is certainly awesome for dropping the first Pie build, as I'm aware of!

Hey this is my first time posting and I've been lurking around here for about a month. This is the first custom ROM I've successfully installed on my Pixel C and it was really seamless. I flashed it using TWRP 3.4.0, clean install from rooted stock, I also flashed Magisk 21 with no issues, I have noticed a glitch/bug when you swipe up to see recent apps, the snapshot of the apps are flipped 90* to the left and won't align with the physical orientation no matter which way I turn the tablet while looking at the recent apps. Thanks for putting out this update, I'm loving it so far!

Does this happen in landscape or portrait mode? When I call the recent apps they display as they should. Can you share a screenshot?
When pull up the recents in portrait mode and rotate it to landscape, the apps are stuck in portrate, and same when in landscape flipping to portrait.

I was able to reproduce this but also on my pixel phone running stock 11 so this means that it is not a bug but intended android behaviour. The fix/feature is in Google's hands

Thanks. I don't have a fix yet for the play store and chrome app which takes some time to launch. I think this is a gapps issue, can't trace the problem in the logs. Anyway, the next update will be a even better and smoother experience. Coming very soon
I could push my trees to official but the only benefit of "official" support would be automatic builds. I will probably post builds on a more regular basis here anyway.

I used the UNOFFICIAL LineageOS 18.1 ROM from @followmsi before. My subjective feeling is, that the play store and the chrome app launches a little faster in your PixelExperience build. That's why I didn't mention that.
It's really good news that you plan to support that great device with more builds in the future! Thank you very much for that!

I don't understand your question, this is android 11.
I've been trying to port latest Shield blobs but it's not an easy job. They are still on android 9. It would be more convenient when they upgrade to 11 but then again... the proprietary Nvidia stuff is difficult to work with due to the many dependancies.

Unfortunatly it is not so easy as you think. You can always try to decompile the system or download source and experiment
I just want to say thanks for this ROM. It's been a bit of battle making this device feel like it's still the flagship device that it was intended to be before Google promptly took it out back and shot it, and this ROM goes a long way toward restoring a lot of that lustre.
