I really miss the hard camera button on my SGS2. Anyone know of a app that will allow me to assign "long press search" to open the camera?
Tsm parts included in the lockscreen mod

This works great. It pretty safe to use as far as security issues go?

I tried it on my Razr with Jelly Bean and it didn't work.
Now that I have installed Google Now, I notice when I double tap the home button S Voice doesn't open up anymore. I checked the setting and the button is ticked to set S Voice to open on double tap of the home key. Any suggestions? I don't know if my installing Google Now had anything to do with it, but I noticed it stopped working round about the time I installed now. Please help.

There are apps that use the proximity sensor to control music controls or even unlock the phone from one. Type on proximity or something and they should pop up, I know this is not what you are looking for but could be an option for now

There are some mods which let you reprogram your home button. You should check out Xposed framework. Also, you could go for a virtual bar which emulates home, menu and back button. There is a very nice app which is called something like "dynamic app bar" in the play store. Maybe you could use that app to create a special button for music controls.

I know, I want to disable it
It doesn't work as well as it did in the g3. Can't disable it as far as I can tell in the g4.
would like to also disable tap to wake. how do you get into the hidden settings menu on the verizon version?
Just like the Back and AppSwitch button. Touch, not press.

This apps compatible device list does not include the Tab S, so I'm not sure if it would work.

I use this app on my 8.4. I can touch (not press) the home button for the home screen. I have the pro version if that matters. Excellent app. The app stops working if you clear all apps, so make sure to open the app if you clear all from the recents menu.

If you installed xposed, there are 2 ways I know that can prevent your issue occurs. Which are Resident and Show In Recent options from App Settings.
