Is there any application we can use group people based on the face.
Google photos we have option but only thing is we have to upload the photo online.
i would like to have app only works in Offline.
So I have tried to find the answer with no luck. How do I switch my text app, Facebook, Instagram apps to use Google photos as the default instead of Samsung photo app?
It will use both, just add a shortcut to Google Photos on your homescreen where Samsung Gallery was and use that instead
That definitely didn't solve the problem. It's just using the Samsung photo gallery, and doesn't even give me the option to make Google photos as my default.

Try setting google photos as default app for photos will do.

I am having the same issue. There's no way to change the stock Gallery app to google photos. When I had my pixel, my apps would source directly from Google Photos, and I guess I was spoiled. Even if a photo wasn't downloaded and I selected it to send, it would forward it after it downloaded.
It's a pretty dumb situation honestly with this phone. Your text app you can use the Google photo app, but anything else like , IG or Facebook you have to go into Google photos app and download it to the phone so the picture you want to post goes into the stupid Samsung gallery. I bought the app that someone had suggested to disable the Samsung gallery app and it didn't work. Also when you disable the app, it effects other apps on the phone, so you are pretty much screwed. Besides the fingerprint scanner, I think this whole, not being able to just use the Google photo app as default for everything is the next biggest ****ty thing about this phone. I still love the phone, but you pay the big bucks and you still have to deal with issues like this, when phones half the price offer these two things better. Oh well I guess?
The camera quality is very bad, i wonder if there is a camera app that makes the photos better by software. (like the google pixel)

Hi to everybody,
i want to ask to those of you who are using Google photos as primary photo application (and storage and backup) if you have noticed that after an update to ONEUI2.5 Google photos stop shows live captures from "live photos" taken from Note10+ camera. Everything works fine in Samsung gallery app (or camera app after checking the photo from samsung camera app). Did you find out this as well (after update)? This feature works without any issue before an update.
