hello shack70. Exhaust ARM> ANDROID 5.1> FULL opengapps from the site and extract only the apk? Did I get it right?
thank you
I extracted everything then copied the apk over but either way will work. There are different resolution versions, I used the full size but any will work

I can only install the zip file using TWRP! Within the file I can not find any .apk.
And installing these files, google games does not work the same.
Don't install using twrp. Unzip and install after boot. I unzipped gapps on my PC then copied over the apk

I apologize for the stress! but you can tell me a link for downloading the right file? thank you
I'll put a copy in my Dropbox and post a link. I'm out right now but check back in a few hours. I feel your frustration as I had the same problem.

I could do it for you but until Tommorrow I'm currently still at work

You could also just download any stock rom and pull the MusicPlayer.apk and drop it in /system/app.
Just make sure you set permissions to match the other system apps.

Parse Error
First off, thanks for posting this. I like the stock music player app as well. I got the apk moved into the folder stated above but when I click on it to actually get it installed it gives me a parse error. "There was a problem parsing the package." Any ideas on how to get past this?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure you don't install the apk. You just place it in the system/app folder with root explorer and make sure it has the correct permissions (rw-r-r) and it should be working after a reboot.

I got the permissions chaged and it changed the icon to the correct app icon and restarted but it still doesn't show up in the app drawer. I decided to go back in to root explorer and click on the apk. It asked if i wanted to install I accepted but says install failed. Any other ideas?
I'm having the same problems as stated above

Try fixing permissions in recovery perhaps.

If it actually attempts the install and isn't giving you a parse error, try signing it https://dl.dropbox.com/s/isg3dugaond858m/kellinwood.zipsigner2-1.apk?dl=1 then install the signed copy.

Uhmm usually TW apps are only compatible with TW ROMs... same with Sense, Motoblur, Timescape, etc.
Just so you know.

Not that simple... Just follow the guide takes 15min...
No flashable zips of stock. You need to use the lgflashtool. It is not that hard if you follow instructions.
There is a flashable zip but you need to be on stock for it to work. Do some searching and reading.

So I'm at the part where I have to right click on the LGE980_20130314_LGFLASHv151.rar file and install/register it..when I click on register it says the module "c:\LG electronics\LGNP…\LGE980_20130314_LGFLASHv151.rar" may not be compatible with the version of windows that you're running. Check if the module is compatible with an x86(32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe. So now I'm really confused lol

Cause your not following the guide. You DONT register the DLL file. You use the DLL file within the Flashtool

Could have been a bad download or just a bad install.
Did you verify the md5?
Do you know which system version it was on?

Mine is still working even after the upgrade. I am using the latest official xposed and latest copy of busybox
I installed the framework from last time but it didn't work. Do you have a link to the version you are using,?.

just download these...
1. install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
2. flash xposed-v73-sdk21-x86.zip using twrp
I think it would also help to clean cache and dalvik cache.
thanks.
I have installed latest Xposed via adb and it work fine ...
It took some removing and re-installing but all is now working.
Thanks for the support!.
