[Q] XBMC: Repositories not working. Says missing dependencies.

Tried adding fusion.xbmchub.com, use.superrepo.org and xfinity.xunitytalk.com. These say, "Dependencies not met" and will not populate. Any ideas why they won't work? Is it a Gotham issue or are there others that work?
Any recommended, working repositories?

All these repos are working well on my FTV. Which XBMC build are you using? Try the beta 2.

IS AFTV blocking content providers?

Hello,
I have a firestick which has been working perfectly until the latest Amazon update April 2016 and no add ons will display the actual content. The scraper stuff displaying all the nice stuff such as details and artwork all works but when you actually get to the content list of ANY PROVIDER on ANY ADDON I get a blank list. Kodi and all addons work perfectly on a PC and a tablet so it has to be the Firestick.
I have factory reset the Firestick and still no luck.
I have installed from scratch Kodi 15.0, 15.1, 15.2, 16.0 and 16.1 and still the same result.
I tried multiple uptodate builds (five) and then gave up and just tried a proven uptodate reliable addon for content installed directly into kodi from a fresh start and still the same result.
Any ideas guys.

I am using since 2 days the 5.0.5.1 fw on fire tv stick and everything works fine using kodi. All plugins are working correctly without blocking any content...

Last version of netflix app

I was just wondering if someone could pull the LAst version APK of Netflix for the fire and post it here. The last official version.

The last version right now for the Fire TV is com.netflix.ninja 2.4.1 (Android TV version), also I tried to manually upgrade Netflix to the last version 3.1.1 from ADB and it works but there are a lot of flickering when you navigate the app.

Sorry for being off-topic, but I sideloaded this app on my Fire TV stick, and I'm able to login. But every episode loads till 99%, and then it displays an error saying that the title can't be played right now. Would you know any reason why that might be a problem?

Is it possible to install and run properly the non-android tv apk? I would like to download contents but it is not possible with the stock apk

Nexus 7 (2013) and Netflix

I have started to have problems with my Nexux 7 and the newest 6.x OTA update.
I cannot either stream or play the downloaded file. Streaming I get an error 0013.
I tried renaming/deleting the liboemcrypto.so file as suggested in anther thread here but I am running into some issues. First the file is no longer located in the /vendor/lib but now it it in the /system/lib folder
And when I try to rename and/or deleting (using ESS Explorer Pro), the file is back to its original name or location after a power off.
Any suggestions to rename the file?

Same problem here, but only with downloaded file.

The streaming problem was fixed by reverting back to an older Netflix APK, version 4.8.5 but that of course does not have the Download option. With the newer version of the APK I get a 102.2.6 error code. Looking at the Play Store comments it looks like quite a few people are having the same issue with streaming video.
Irefra, what version of the APK are you running?

Devices are rooted?

I see this problem on all the Nougat builds I have tried.
Either Netflix or Google Movies works and if Netflix works it won't download. Oddly it will download if it is broken, it just won't play the files.

The last version. Netflix 4.13.0 build 14540

Same problem
Same problem for me, with CM 14.1 (tried both unrooted and rooted device).
It seems that the video can lay until the quality starts to become better. I have the streaming quality set to AUTO; I also tried setting it to HIGH, and to LOW but the problem remains.
Using version 4.8.5 it seems that all is working fine.

I called Netflix on January 25, 2017, and spoke with them about 4.13 not being able to mirrorcast.
They said it has been reported by several already.
I went back to 4.12.2 and downloads and mirrorcast work for me. Just cannot use external SDcard feature that was introduced in 4.13.

A bit different , but I use Plex, and 6.0.1 official OS and 7.1.1 lineage os both are working smoothly. It streams just nice.

Which rom & root app?

Has this problem been resolved? I am still needing to use Netflix 4.8.5 on Nougat Purenexus. Would like to go to current version of NFlx. Am using Magisk 14.2.

I tried the newest version 5.11.3 Build 25442, Streaming a movie you get error 5.2 and it stops. SUCKS!!!!

If you want to run Netflix, you need to run an older version of NetFlix. The ROM developer for Pure Nexus created a signed version (I think avoids you receiving app updates). Cleanly flashed with Data format used the TWRP 3.3.1-0 like for LOS16, instead of 3.4.0-0 with BiTGapps and Magisk.
No more unwanted appearences on the screen when turning. :good:
When focussing on a text the field now shows the letters. :good:

Is there any battery efficiency improvements with these updates?
Running LOS 14 without gapps -1% per minute. Using the tablet as a remote mouse/keyboard for pc

I think yes. start to the los 16 was done for several reasons:
- I had the experience of switching to the android 10 on 3 different series (exynos7870, qcom800 and qcom820) - in all cases with working android 9 it was a huge number of problems, switch to android 10 I think the most difficult in my memory
- Old device config, every new version has some problems, so it was easier to jump from working 14.1 to 16.0
- faster build 16 minutes on my computer for los 16 vs 26 minutes
Right now in the los 16 we have more problems, then in los 17, and i don't see any reason to spend a weeks for fix it. Better focus on los 17 for some code clean up.

I can live with the death of LOS16 very well.
Having your LOS17 on my T325 as well and I love it.
Btw. Firefox has still the same problems while other browsers work.

firefox issues on t325 or p900?

Only on P900.
After first usage and sync plus installation of some add-ons it doesn't connect any longer.
Same add-ons and sync on T325 without a problem.

Where can i find BiTGapps?
I did a clean flash, downloaded ARM GAPPS Stock and i'm having errors "updating ok google model service".
Everytime I try to use the mic the tab restarts.
Other than that it looks amazing *w*

It does connect, pages take time to load but nothing is rendered.
I did get a reboot when using the pen in Squid but after restart I played with Squid for a while with no problem!
BIG thanks to Valera !!!

Don't care about a working firefox any longer as I just saw how new version looks like on other device.
So I'm gonna switch browser anyhow.

Thats why I had to modify the APK so it will not update.
The old firefox (I think) is the best browser for this tablet.
The new firefox is much worse, even for normal phones.
So a fix for whyever firefox does not render the pages would be great

Anyone having troubles using the Mic? Everytime I try to use anything related the tab restarts o.o
Also having "updating OK Google model service" download error.

Thanks @Valera1978 for LOS 17.1 it works good with a few problems but it maybe the apps like Firefox causing reboots and camera otherwise I like this ROM. Thanks again for your great work ???

Didn't test mic yet as camera not working don't need it then.
Usually I'm using Opengapps pico but that still includes Google TTS what BiTGapps doesn't.
The latter you find in XDA.
Both ARM of course.
Don't have the link right now.

Just noticed pen not recognised at all.
Edit: suddenly it does. Didn't do anything special.

Tried Clean Install using GApps nano, pico, micro and stock, same problem: "updating OK Google model service".
Tried using BitGapps, same problem
Also, mic doesn't work, restarts the tab as soon as you want to use it.
@Valera1978 congrats! it's an amazing ROM *w* everything feels smooth and fast.
Just the Mic Problem, i need it to use Microsoft Teams for calls xD

new update:
1. updated cpu config in dev tree (correct variant cortex-15 config)
2. updated power profile (and here found interesting setting in kernel to speed-up cpu freq up to 2100MHz and seem it's work)
3. updated kernel - net part, I had issues with net on start and made small fix, but now ported all net part from my msm8974 (same 3.4 kernel, but more up to date). firefox still dnw (will continue check), but at least no kernel panic
mic - this is my next priority

- FPS drops when watching YouTube in higher than 480p (starts lagging behind audio)
- graphic bugs still exist (pixels and boxes)
