Hey guys I was rearranging some of my old devices, and I tried turning on my Galaxy S3, the problem is that it hangs at the splash screen. So then I tried booting into recovery mode, but it just wouldn't. Although I am able to boot into Odin mode, so my question is: is it possible to perform a hardware reset using the Odin tools for Windows? Any help is appreciated!
You could also try flashing a stock ROM from sammobile.com using Odin. After flashing, try boot into recovery and wiping.

Hey guys,
I seriously screwed up my Note (T889). I installed the latest nightly of cm10.1, but it got stuck in a boot loop. I pulled the battery and tried to boot into cwm, but it would only boot into download mode or the loop. I tried to use odin to flash cwm back onto the phone, which seemed to work (I could boot into cwm once). While in cwm I did a factory reset and then rebooted the phone. Now when I turn it on it sits on the screen that says Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for a while then goes black, nothing else. I can boot into download mode, but I can't boot into cwm or the stock recovery any more. I tried using odin to flash cwm again from download mode, but I still can't boot into anything else.
I really just want my phone to be usable again right now, so if anyone can help me out at all I would really really grateful, thanks!
I've read this thread which seemed similar, but unless I'm doing something wrong my problem seems to be slightly different: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2034323

Thank you so much, it's back to stock now!
Hello All and Merry Christmas,
I have a Note 2 that is 100% factory and started having a boot loop, it only got to Samsung screen and then rebooted.
I flashed via ODIN TWRP and tried to put a few roms on the device, now I dont have a boot loop I just have a hang at samsung however its not frozen as the letters are moving indicating its still processing.
I wanted to try to flash a rom via odin instead of TWRP, and can not find any in that format.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards,
Force

Another thing, i downloaded odin from odind*** the first odin download that shows up on google, but it doesn't look like it's he official page, is the files on there safe?
Bumping this thread for help.
Still need help.
update.
I managed to get into recovery mode and did a factory reset and wipe. Device is still stuck on boot screen and keeps rebooting.
Try the guide here.
And when you flash TWRP, uncheck the auto reboot box in Odin. After it flashes, unplug and power off tab. Then boot to recovery, that should work

Hello.
After following this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/root-cf-autoroot-twrp-t800-t3079488
I downloaded the AutoRoot with TWRP for SM-T805.
I flashed it using Odin 3.14. The process ended well, however, the tablet won't boot anymore (It shows the splash logo then after about 5 minutes, the Samsung logo shows up and it stays there).
I tried to do a Factory reset on TWRP with no avail.
Altough TWRP works when booting in Recovery mode, I do not know how to boot back into android through it.
(FYI Download mode works)
How do I solve this? How can I revert this?
Thank you all in advance.
Luckily, I've solved this.
I've flashed a different img file, that removed TWRP but rooted my device anyway.
The tablet is now functioning again.
