Clove or Handtec for faster shipping???

ANy of you know??? if i order today..
which store is expected to still have enough units on first stock March 29th ??

Can't give you a definite answer. But I've some info that may prove useful...
Yesterday, before Clove updated their shipping date to 29 Mar, I emailed them requesting them to cancel my order. I told them it was because Handtec was shipping on 29 Mar while Clove still had 7 Apr as their date.
I got a quick reply from Clove saying that it was impossible because they always get their devices a day before Handtec because they're just 2 miles away from the HTC distribution center.
They then checked with HTC and confirmed to me that the shipping date has indeed been pushed up to 29 Mar and reiterated that they WILL get stock before Handtec.

I pre-ordered the Desire from Clove, they say the first stock due 29 Mar, and it is black color. Maybe I can receive my phone before 5 Arp in China.

Ordered mine from Clove yesterday and they told me the first shipment is sold out but they will ship mine from the 2nd shipment on 2nd April.
If you're OS, Clove ship via DHL for an extra GBP$10

What about our April 7th phones??? Post Any news here

Clove - 7th April HTC Desire
Hmm, I think I've been charged for mine on Thursday however Clove haven't sent me an email confirming this. For some reason my net banking only shows transactions up to the 1st. Perhaps something to do with Banking Holidays?

As of today, Handtec is still saying the 7th is the expected ship date. I know it's hard, but it's only 24-48 hours away. Just do what I have been doing...watch the reviews & think "Man! The phone I have right now sucks!"

Who did you order from?

I ordered it from Handtec , and I'm not from UK , I'm living in Bulgaria and I'm very surprised because FedEx gave me an estimated delivery date - 08.04.2010

I'm hoping you're not going to be disappointed and I do not know how the delay will have affected Clove's supplies but my understanding was that Clove's first batch was sold out on pre-orders some weeks ago. Certainly this was the case before the launch was delayed. A mate of mine ordered his Desire from Clove last week and is not expecting his for another week or so. Who knows, maybe the delay will mean that Clove's first and second batches will have been amalgamated?

I dunno about that... I ordered mine on March 19th so hopefully that would've gotten me in with the first batch of orders (I'd be very surprised if that wasn't the case). The email I quoted was dated March 30th so up to then they seemed to be able to handle all the pre-orders.
As regards how the delay hit them, all I know is that there's a sign on the Desire page on their site saying that the 'expect' stock by the 7th, I suppose they'll start shipping as soon as they've got them in stock.

I saw heard some people cancelling their orders from clove, worth mentioning

I think they were originally but that was before the delay. I recieved an email since the delay saying:
Stock should be here on the 7th/8th We expect over a 1000 units

They also said mine would ship from the first delivery. Before they were delayed, mine was going to be in the second shipment which was originally due 2nd April.

Why didnt i get that
last email they sent me was
"Thank you for your co-operation in this matter, your security details have now been processed and the order will now be dispatched upon your chosen delivery option."
that was on the end of last month.. i had payment confirmation issues, but my order was on the 20th
from handtec too....
i hope i get a delivery notification soon

Got my email notification from F*D*X about my shipment from Handtec also
Funny thing is, it says it should be delivered on the 8th...I wish. Even if it left tomorrow, I would still have to mess with with F*D*X and Customs. Safe to say, I won't be receiving my new toy until Saturday or Monday of next week

A few minutes ago, I was in Live-Chat with Handtec and they told me that stock still hasn't arrived until now.

So did I, that's why I cancelled... I'm going on a trip tomorrow evening for a week so i'll buy it in a local store.

I just talked to Handtec live chat and got this info:
Customer Services (811): Unfortunately delivery for the HTC is tomorrow
Customer Services (811): we will ship some tomorrow and Thursday
But who knows who has the correct info.

How to get it from UK?

Guys,
Is it available for sale already? Lot of reviews on Youtube, so I assume its available for sale in some countries already. Where from it can be imported to UK? On AliExpress its only pre-sale.

It is available from O2 in the UK.
There are a few Pop-Up store events on the 21st November from 2pm, where you can buy it first.
You can also pre-order for delivery or collection from the 22nd November.
It is not available anywhere else, and I believe the phones are sold unlocked, but if brought out-right require the purchase of a £15 sim, or available with a contract (which is what I pre-ordered today as I upgraded my contract)

I want unlocked as I`m un EE. Where can I see the list of pop up stores? Order from where?

I ordered it from www.o2.co.uk - it arrived today and is unlocked. Working perfectly with a Three SIM.

Perfect. Will pop into O2 store to check it out and buy it on the spot if I like it. Bye bye S8.

Picked mine up yesterday at O2 store in Newcastle. 128GB model. Ordered the same day when it was announced, got the "order ready for pickup" email yesterday around noon.

UK Pre Order-Waiting Room

So I ordered through Mobile phones direct, expected delivery is the 8th, contacted them today and they are saying they will begin shipping on the 7th. This is no use to me and I won't be getting mine on Friday as I live in the northern parts of Scotland. However it is an indication that others Such as 02 & Vodafone will begin on the 7th.

I've preordered through Three and have Friday 8th as the delivery date.

Carphone Warehouse O2 upgrade here, Friday 8th delivery promised.
I've also ordered a snapdragon from abroad which will get here early next week.

I ordered mine for use in the US from Clove UK - an awesome retailier I have used to buy virtually every Samsung Phone since the S8 Plus. Good Prices - fast shipping (considering it is overseas) and awesome support. Whether they ship on the 7th or 8th, I won't get it until Monday because it is overseas - but it will be worth the wait.

Hey, which model did you order?. I'm looking to get the Exynos version as well, usually get it from Ebay, but I've heard of Clove as well. Looking to get the Black 1Tb, but its not available.

EE are shipping tonight for delivery tomorrow I believe,

Samsung UK ships on 7th and delivers the day after, nobody got their units in the UK yet.

Yup seems to be the trend here in the UK, all suppliers must adhere to the release schedule, pre orders or not.....

Well hurrah I now have my dispatched notification through.......

Delivery Delayed On Launch Day! C'mon Oneplus

Pre-ordered a shiny new Oneplus 7t frosted silver through Amazon on Sunday as I had birthday vouchers, expecting to have it delivered today so I could play with the new shiny thing. Just received a mail from Amazon UK to say its been delayed and estimated deliver is now 24th October? I'm a little confused and saddened by this, Surely they have enough product for launch? has anyone else experienced this..

Just got mine delivered fom Amazon UK. But I went for the blue. I saw that frosted silver went out of stock very quickly yesterday so may just be the sheer number of orders for that varient was unexpected.

Think a lot of orders were placed...

Mine was supposed to be here on launch day also (frosted silver) but got delayed said it'll be here on the 21st instead but came today (day after launch) instead.
Don't give up hope.

Ordered mine just after 10 am Friday here in the states, expected 22nd. (With the 10$ discounted fast shipping) would have been nice to offer Saturday delivery.

Exactly in the same position as the OP. I ordered mine from Amazon UK (Frosted Silver) literally as the keynote finished. It was showing delivery on the 19th right up until late on the 18th then noticed that Amazon were showing estimated delivery as 24th October.
Every other retailer had the Frosted Silver showing as in stock.
I spoke to Amazon CS and he stated that they will have stock on the 24th October but even that wasn't a guarantee.
I cancelled and ordered from OP and the phone was delivered on Saturday.
It's more of an Amazon issue rather than OP.

Just got a notification of dispatch.. Its due today now... I guess after them telling me there is no chance of getting it until the 24th, they were wrong again.
Shame I have plans today so I won't be able to sign for it.

Ordered froat silver from Amazon UAE on the 12th of October, still waiting. Showing "Temporarily out of stock". However the blue version is available.
