What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP basically which stands for the Xperia Open Source Project was a project originally created by me @nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) and the project was created like 2 years ago when that time XOSP wasn't even existing. It was just S+ Reborn. The main idea was to create a custom minimal Xperia based ROM, by including the essential things which a user would normally use from a ROM.
The S+ Reborn became to be a big success because it was eventually ported on different Xperia Phones and some other Samsung devices so from there the XOSP project was founded. From the XOSP Project also the Reborn add-ons were created featuring with an Aroma Installer. I worked on the project for 2 years trying always to improve it constantly, eventually for the fact that LP on my Galaxy S+ became to be quite buggy i decided to stop the development and for about half of year the project was left in standby till I decided to bring it back again on the Zenfone 2 devices.
The project started growing again so with the Release 4 the project will be completely refactored to XOSP
Revisions and Releases
I've got a different type of releasing, I will not provide weekly builds but just let me show you how the revisions and release type works: The revisions refers like to a sort of Nightly thing I mean the changes included in the ROM are small not as a Release one. All the releases got 5 revisions. So the Release is something even bigger right? Hell yeah! When a new Release is released expect many improvements or new features

thanks for this @jsbeyond, really glad to see so much development happening for our device, thank you especially for your wonderful contributions!
Make sure you use the XOSP GApps or else you will get FC's
@jsbeyond another rom from you. That's incredible. There is so much reason for buying this phone now.
Thanks for another rom to use on this phone. This is adding to the large selection. Now All we need is for Honor to release 6.0 source code so we can have FP support.
This should help to light a fire under their butts to give it to us. I know many people don't need FP but I actually use it and have data in phone that I feel more comfortable with extra security so I have stayed on Emui rom. I can only wait so long before I give in and flash all these Roms. ?

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP stands for the Xperia Open Source Project. The project was initially created by me @nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) years ago. Back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there I rebranded and XOSP project was founded. I worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on my Galaxy S+ (Which I maintained xosp for at the time) I decided to take a break from development until I got my hands on the zenfone 2 which from there xosp development has continued ever since.

Here are some advices:
- Blastagator's latest TWRP and hybrid bootstack is recommended to install this rom.
- Clean install is highly recommended.
- If you get status 7 error while flashing:
- Make sure you downloaded appropriate rom for your model
- Make sure you had installed hybrid boostack
- If you still get status 7 error; Open the rom zip with winrar.Go to "META-INF/com/google/android" then open updater-script with NOTEPAD++.Delete first two lines and try to flash again. After this, flashing process must pass without any problems.
Friendly Asked Questions
Q: Why don't you support D802 variant ?
A: Because it already has official xosp support. You can find the official thread at xda d802 forum.
Q: I get status 7 error while flashing?
A: Refer to advices section above
Q: Volume is quite low compared to stock rom?
A: You can try flashable booster zips from this thread(TRY AOSP ONES): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769799
Q: I want to report an issue.How can I?
A: You can post a message in this thread, or PM me the bug.I highly recommend you to post in the official cm13 thread for g2, because every 6.0.1 roms are being compiled from pure cm13 sources.
Q: How to enable root?
A: Enable developers options, then you can enable it in developer options.
Q: Which gapps should I flash?
A: I recommend you to use opengapps, you should select arm>6.0>pico,nano etc...
Q: Can I use custom kernels?
A: Yes, you can but I think this rom works perfectly with its own kernel. Also, If you are using custom kernel with this rom, please don't report any bug in the thread.
Many thanks for your work, I'm on a D805 and usually download D802 ROMs, do yo have a D805/805 version?
