Try stock including kernel. Use flashtool

try to install without xposed. working fine on my phone

I reinstall the rom without xposed and it got better. but sometimes, there are random times that it is doing the same. do you think it has to do with greenify? or agreesive doze? thanks

Everything was working as far as I could remember, private mode etc.
I've since wiped that device.
According to what I've seen its also working on nougat.

Thats not true mate. I don't know where u checked it but definitely not on A5 2017 I checked many times. Further mod was released back in 2014 and plenty have changed since then. Secure folder works only with custom kernel with fake know support.

Hmm maybe, possibly a custom kernel was required. I didn't pay much mind to the details when I read it.
Have you tried Magisk. Magisk is able to fake knox and hide root.

I've used it successfully on my RN8P, but I only used it to install a stock Android Pie ROM on a soft-brick. I didn't try any other functions.
You might have to disable Windows 8/10 Driver Signature Verification for it to run, but then it installs all the necessary drivers just fine.
