Have you unlocked your bootloader/rooted yet?
If not, send it to HTC repair centre.
If yes you can try flashing other ROMs see if that helps at all.

I was a happy Note 2 users for the past 3 weeks, phone rooted and is using latest HK Stock ROM N7105ZHALJ4 running 4.1.1
Things goes weird for the past few days:
"Clear Data" and "Clear Cache" buttons of every app in "settings > application Manager" are always dimmed. The size fields are always showing "Calculating...."
Downloads from Google Play Store are successful but all stuck at "Installing...."
Even previously working downloaded APKs never return upon installation
Tried stopped all relevant Google Framework, Google Play services, Play Store App, removing Google accounts, and rebooting the devices for several times but all these do not work
I tried also re-flashing Stock Rom and re-getting Root Access. The funny thing is: Google Play updates started working for a while. But when I restarted the phone again for some reason, it started NOT working again.
Any clues for me to fix that?
Hey folks
I searched for similar topics but nothing helped
When connected on my home wi-fi I can't download or update from PlayStore. But over other Wi-Fi Networks it works, like at friends home or at work. Also over 3G there is no problem.
When updating I get the notification "Update for "the app" could not be downloaded due to an error (927)
I tried the uninstall updates from google play services and data from dl manager method, wipe dalvik method, log out delete google account and relogin with the google account method. Rebooted router, checked for some strange settings... nothing helped.
Anyone got an Idea what could cause this problem?
Thanks

Every time that I've had that issue, here's what I do. I'm aware you've tried about half of the things, but you missed a step lol.
1) Settings>Apps>Running Force Stop Google Play/Anything else tied to it (I usually stop all Google services)
2) Log out of your Google Account
3) Go into your app drawer, tap and drag the Google Play icon to the "info" to open up the info on the app.
4) Clear data and cache for the app, disregard the warning messages
5) Reboot device
6) Log back in
7)????
8) Profit
I'll give it a try, thanks!
Just wanted to pitch in my two cents on my experiences with this problem:
I have a rooted Sprint Note 2 running CM 10.2. I had no problems with the Play Store when I first rooted and got CM up and running. However, I had to flash back to a stock ROM because of GPS issues. When I flashed back to CM (via nandroid restore), Play Store was returning the error: "Error retrieving information from the server [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]."
So I deleted Play Store data and restarted. Then, strangely enough, when I logged back in, the Play Store did not have anything in "My Apps" or "Installed Apps," and when I tried to download anything, now it was returning "download error (927)."
So then, I deleted Play Store and Google services data and tried again. No good. So then, I cleared the Play Store and Google Services data, booted into recovery, and flashed gapps again (e.g. a clean install of Play Store). Still got error 927. I then tried switching google accounts on Play Store - still no luck.
As I was still in the office at this point, I gave up and decided to go home to try later. When I came above ground on the subway, I noticed that Play Store was automatically updating some of my apps with no problems.
In conclusion, I have no idea which solution - or combination of solutions - worked, but the problem was solved. Here is a list of every step I took:
1. Deleted Play Store and Google Services data in Apps
2. Reinstalled the Play Store
3. Switched Google Accounts
4. Waited 30 minutes to try again?
Hope this helps for people having this annoying problem.

My problem wont be fixed with any of these as its 927 on all of my devices but sometimes after 11pm it works. and sometimes during a reset of my phone they will automatically download sporadically. Its google servers for me. To bad google's customer service is one of the worst i have seen.
I would have to agree I have the same issue and have had it since December of last year at least. I have an email thread that shows the ongoing issues and they have never fixed a single issue. I can't even load the play store at all now just get connection timed out retry and forget trying all the "fixes" because I have gone through hours and hours and tried every fix that anyone could suggest. For a while I was able to download successfully but not reliably and ONLY ON CELLULAR. Google servers even knew when I was connecting to another phone (using it as a hotspot) and since it was cellular it worked fine. But if I used a real landline wifi it would error every single time. I basically have given up and will not buy another app or even use my android devices and thankfully I have others to use since I work for a phone company but google is absolutely pathetic in this. Google's suggestion is they are working on it and there is nothing else they can do for me. That's fine if it was a few days or maybe a few weeks but this is well over 4 months and they are making products unusable.

It's normal for it to say that when it's stopping Play Services to install a new version. (Mine did that a few days ago.) Maybe you've gotten it into a bad state by powering it off while it was in the middle of trying to update? You might try uninstalling Play Services on your phone, then reinstall it, and give the watch some time to transfer and install it there.

Same problem, android wear force to use newest google play service, but after the google play service transfered to the watch, it stopped working and disconnected:crying:
Just do a factory reset on the watch. When first turning it on at the first Asus screen swipe down diagonally from right to left. This will start it in recovery mode. From there follow on screen prompt to navigate to wipe data and restart.
I have same problem to, from first time i conecting this zenwatch to my zenfone 2
I've tried many ways, and then the last i did...
- Uninstall Android ware ( that updated )
- I try to install android wear oldest version from apk miror that 1.1.1.2113877
- reset my zenwatch and try to conect with oldest android wear
I am so happy that always conect to my zenwatch
- Update firmware my zenwatch
- after finish, i try to uninstall old android wear and install again from play store (updated),
- this work until now...
It works like a charm...
Thx a lot.
Hi everyone,
I updated my Google Play Services to the file discussed here: http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/08/30/google-play-services-v8-1-begins-rolling-out-to-prepare-for-android-pay-changes-variant-naming-scheme-for-lollipop-devices-and-more-apk-teardown-download/
It completely messed up my phone and google play services keep crashing. I've tried rolling it back to factory (settings>apps) but one of my device administrators keeps preventing me from doing so - Android Device Manager. I keep trying to deactivate as an admin to no avail - I keep tapping "deactivate" and nothing happens.
I'm totally stuck.
Hopefully this is an easy fix...?
UPDATE - I've managed to uninstall Google Play Service's updates (putting it back to factory) but now I'm getting constant pop-ups saying that it's crashed, and now Google Play Services doesn't show up under Settings>Apps.

Because its getting crashed, you'll have to wait a bit for android device manager become inactive..
You can stay with marshmellow google service(hopefully) with thismethod to prevent crash..
Go to app, clear cache/data all google related app (google service, google play, google keyboard, google contact/calendar sync) for contact and calendar its better to backup 1st as its might get wipe..
Lastly..go to account &sync, delete your google account..
Reboot, try login again with play store.
For some reason when I go to Accounts & Sync>Pick my google account>three dots>remove account nothing happens...?
EDIT - All is well now. Just had to give things time to unsync and reset. Thanks @faizalotai!!

After reboot?? is your google play able to download apps?
Be careful manually updating Google Play Services from some .apk website. There are many different specific versions and if you install the wrong one, you are like OP....in a pickle. Best to just wait on the OTA from google to hit your phone.
Thanks for getting me out of my mess everyone.
I've been running rooted android for a long time (since HTC Desire Z/G2) and I've never had a problem installing a Google Play Services APK until today.
I haven't been having much luck with the G4 so far - I bricked my first one messing with the build.prop, now this - makes me nervous to update to a 10F build.
Hello all.
After 5 years of having a HTC One s it was time for an upgrade. I upgraded to the HTC m9. I am having 2 issues first is that I cannot find a version of Google Play services to work on my phone. I can find an old version where I can access the play store but I can not open any other google related apps due to an error saying that google play services needs to be updated. Any time I update I get the warning that google play services has stopped working. I have tried clearing the cash and resetting app preference but with no luck. I am on stock 6.0. What build version of the app should I be on?
On a second issue I can not update to nougat as the install fails at 25%. The screen changes to a red triangle with a line and the phone reboots and nothing has changed. Also if I go to update again the file seems to be gone as I have go download again.
Please contact if you need any more info or if you can help please.
Thanks
Found out I'm not the only person with this issue. No fix found yet tho I'm afraid.
