Failed PurpleDrake root for GCI LG G3 - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Newbie here!
I have a GCI (Alaskan Carrier) LG G3 D851 running Kitikat 4.4.2 v10c. Cannot root the device. Tried Temproot, Stump and Purpledrake (lite and full), getting "*** ERROR: Your phone is not running a compatible software version. No vulnerable mode detected.........." error with Purpledrake. Any other suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a root out for LG G3 D725 yet? I've tried Towelroot and Stump Root and they didn't work.
Can't Root LG G3 D851 NEW PHONE
For some reason I cannot root a new LG G3 D851 I just rooted same model 2 months ago. Not same software. The software is V20e. I cannot root this firmware no matter what I do is the bootloader locked now and there's no software available to unlock it? Please disregard I got it thanks to digital-bug. Thank you.
How did you root it?

brand new d851 from the ebay sale. got it updated it to 20e and rooted using the second method. the boot-loader on the t-mobile version is not locked. never was
Question about Stump Root for my LG G3
I downloaded Stump Root V1.2 and was trying to root my phone. When I pressed Grind, then it said "Device is patched,sorry!" I want to know what happen to my phone? My phone is D852 which is Fido carrier in Canada... Thanks everyone...
