wont sleep after charging - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Everytime I unplug 5X from charger I can see that phone wont sleep. It happens every time last few days... (I upgrade on april build before 2-3 weeks) It looks like a bug in last build from google.. (I am on MHC19Q, 100% stock)
Restart fix it.
Anyone have this problem ?

ISSUE: Random clock change by itself

Since I've bought my Arc (11 weeks ago) the clock has changed 3 times by itself causing the alarm to not sound.
1st Time I thought it was caused by me setting it to update from the network.
2nd Time I checked what apps were running (just the std), clock was set to manual... so I set the time correctly... when I restarted the phone the clock changed again.
3rd Time today, it displayed Wednesday 03:45, instead of Friday 08:45... so I just restarted it and it went back to the correct time. I check the clock now before going to bed and it was good at 00:05.
Any help on trying to resolve this would be appreciated... just so I don't get to work late .
Thanks.
Had the same issue too, also if I turn off the phone and turn it back on.........the time and date would be reset.......very weird!! What cause this to happen and any solution? Cheers

Exactly the same with my German non branded, simlock free, non rooted and still boot-locked phone with the latest software
I've also had the same issue but thought it was specific to my phone. I'll forward this onto my ADM for you and see if I can get an answer!
Damn phone did it again today... 5 days later.
Displayed 00:52 instead of 08:52.
It always happens when the phone is in flight mode.
happened 4 times now and probably always during flight modus, now use a old really cheap Samsung phone to wake me up on time....

Boot after off-charging?

Hey,
Since that i rooted my HOX i have this strange issue.
When i charge my phone when its off, it charges till its 100%, and then it boots. When i plug it in before i go to bed, it charges, and when i wake up, its on with the enter pin code screen. Anyone knows how to fix this?
P.S. Sorry for my bad english..

I use the RENOVATE 3.0.0 ROM, which contains faux123's kernel. I'm very happy with this rom, i get easily 4 hours of screen on time.
Serial number starts with HT23, so its made inTaiwan.
I had this issue before with TeamVenom rom. But i think its about the recovery. I'm gonna flash TeamWin recovery, which supports off-mode charging..

Yeap u'll be right. I flashed 1.29 RUU one hour ago and turned off my phone then started charging it charges normally with turned off. I'll try the new touch recovery when i flash a new rom next week. This week i test my phone's battery if it's faulty i wanna replacement

[Q] Is my HTC One X dead??

Hi guys,
I have HTC One X and I switched from stock rom to cyanogenmod few months ago. From time to time I got info about updating to latest stable build but I didnt install it since the one I had worked perfectly. Few days ago I updated it to latest stable build manually and it worked OK, but it shut down at one point when I was using Google Maps and I had to start it manually again. It started normally but had problem connecting to network for about minute or two. After that it worked fine.
Today I wanted to record my sisters school project and I put it on a table and started recording. After 20 minutes or so I noticed that phone is turned off again (no one was near it). Since then I am unable to charge it, power it, it seems to be complity dead. When I plug in the charger no light indicartor is present.
I am not sure that problem is OS related. It seems to be hardware related isssue.
Is this known problem? And how to fix it??

Thank you for quick response
It was about 90% when I started recording but the problem is I think its dead. I cannot start it to see how much is left on the battery so I am unable to see how much battery is still full.

[Q] SM-T311 4.4.2 OTA update problem

Hi guys,
It's been a long time I've posted on this forum, I'm really happy to see that the community it's always here.
I have changed my SGT2 7.0" to a new SGT3 8.0" which i really love and it was working so well that i have never take into consideration rooting and changing roms.
The problem starts about last week or two, when a popup message tell me there was a new update for my device (4.4.2).
Everything go well as expected, the update is working but the next day I realize i have a big problem: my tablet now doesn't charge to 100%!
Thinking it was my fault I have rebooted the device and it seems that this trick help a bit (after one or two reboot the tablet start charging normally and go to 100% without any problem) but i have no time for this, i wake up in the morning at 5 am and i have just the time to take a coffee before going to university, this mean no time for:
1- Reboot the tablet
2- Watch to see if it is charging, if not repeat step 1
3- If it is charging, wait for completely charging
And by the way this problem happens every day.
Yesterday I have done the root in my device and now i'm here to ask you: what can I do to solve this pathetic problem without changing rom?
In twrp there isn't an option for "wipe battery stats".
I have attached 3 screenshots from my tablet settings, you can really see what's going on.
As always, sorry for my english
Cheers
I think i have solved the problem.
-Open the tablet
-Disconnect the battery (no need to remove it, only unplug the connector)
-Press the power button for a generous amount of time (from 30 to 60 seconds to make sure)
-Reconnect the battery
-Close the tablet
-Turn on
This seems to work, my tablet is now charging normally as before, without worring about reboot it every morning and wait for fully charging.
Only time will tell me if it's a permanent fix, surely it's not an hardware issue because BEFORE 4.4.2 UPDATE the problem doesn't exists.

[Q] Random freezing, rebooting, non-responding apps

Hi,
my P6 started doing...stuff... literally over the night. My baterry died after a long day three days ago, so I plugged in the charger and switched the phone on. Ok, but then it rebooted once or twice, the camera stopped working (it works, but there are no controls at all, just the nav. bar). Later almost every app started doing this - I launch one and after 5 seconds of being frozen it says "The app is not responding", so I shut it down. And sometimes it even reboots itself, or just shuts off and I'm not able to switch it back on for a minute or two. And one more, when I'm typing, (if I am able to get the keyboard working), the screen goes black and then on again by itself.
Which is interesting, I plugged the charger yesterday and after three hours or something I was able to work with the phone normally. Some time later it went ****ty again.
I'm now running the B707 firmware, repack for Europe. for two months and a couple weeks.
Have you experienced this before? Could you help? It's Easter time so I don't wanna run to the repair shop right away, they wouldn't care untill Tuesday, anyway -_-

I can assume, that this is because of the unstable B707 firmware. I can suggess you to to instal and try B708 Re-Pack by BbN - it is based on the STABLE B708 firmware and it is repacked for international use. Very stable rom - I am using it one month until now and have no problems with it!!!
Ok, I can try that
Didn't help :/
