[ROM] PandaGrinder Rom

This is a rom I'm building for customizations, and multitasking, just with good battery life, for a good daily driver, it's not out yet, I'm still testing it, I'll put out an Alpha pretty soon.

Wait a minute xD
It's supposed to be Linux 3.0 correct? I'm a noob at this, sorry.

Looking for a ROM for my note 2.

Hi,
I'd like a recommendation for a stable, minimalistic rom which would be battery efficient and work fast, but also up to date with the latest OS - if that's even needed. For example, some mods have the whole "air swipe" abilities, which I don't need. I do however want it to be up to date with the recent android. I researched this a bit and came up with these:
CyanogenModX
ROM OS Version: 5.1.x Lollipop
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.0.x
Benghazi ROM - Advanced Edition
ROM OS Version: 5.1.x Lollipop
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.0.x
SONIC OPEN KANG PROJECT
ROM OS Version: 5.0.x Lollipop
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.4.x
Cyanogenmod 12.1
ROM OS Version: 5.0.x Lollipop
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.0.x
I really like it that Sonic has a newer linux kernel, yet, does it really matter? I know that trying them out would probably give me a better idea of what would work best for me, but I'd appreciate some opiniopns on this.
I too want to know the lightest & most up to date ROM available for the Note 2.
Are the ones posted by AlonP the top 4 ROMS for this device?
The only list online for best roms for the note 2 were from Cnet 3 years ago & is way outdated.

Is it possible to trebleize Sailfish OS and/or Ubuntu touch

I was wondering if it was possible to treblize sailfish os and/or ubuntu touch. It would've been wonderful.
Nothing is impossible, but bringing ubuntu or any other OSs which aren't android based is going to be pain, don't get me wrong, it might not, im not sure, but Linux isn't Android (Except the Kernel)

I like your attitude. I think porting Linux to a treble device wouldn't be too hard just because Linux is very flexible, but I wouldn't know how to go about it. I'd like to do something similar to the op, only I want forward port Nougat to a treble device. A blast from the past kind of deal.

As far as i know these os'es are based on halium which is based on android 5.1 and 7.1 . It will be only possible if they upgrade their android version

Yes that is right.
I was about to ask the same question....the linux Arm64 images are available already (for Arch & Debian at least) so if we got these to become GSI that would be awesome and will give us way more freedom
