The 100$ range getting really good this days- who could believe that you can buy quad core 4.7" HD OGS IPS 1GB ram smartphone including shipping ?
Few month ago @100$ you could only buy cheap low quality 480P TFT 512MB ram dual core android 4.0.4 smartphones-and now- .
I am interested to know if there are real differences in hardware between UMI and DooGee DG350 that its cheaper.

2100 mah, by moderate use I can get through one day with it.
What I have experienced is that coolicool also have a very fast shipping (3-5 days). So I would recommend them without problem.

How to root UMI X1 PRO and delete bloatware inside

yes,it support 3G band 900.
2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz

This mobile phone design and Doogee DG350 is very similar.

Generally, Umi X1 pro and Doogee DG350 are the same phones. There is a little differency in battery, earphones in pack(doogee) and 3G - UMI is 900/2100, Doogee 850/2100.
Today I've flashed Doogee stock rom to UMI X1pro and it worked perfectly...
I don't understand, why UMI doesn't have ROM download on their webpages...Doogee has it here:

And what about 3G? It was staying 850MHz or changed to 900MHz?
And camera is just as poor as was or better?

I don't know.... It works, but only because I use wcdma 2100.
If you can tell me, how to test it, I would try.
And camera is same. Nothing special.

I do not have this phone yet, but if you could look into settings ->wireless & networks and probably SIM management. It should be ticks at the appropriate frequencies there.

Actually I wanted to, but now it seems to be hard get my hands on one. Most shops for some unknown reason do not recommend this model.

I know that GearBest have it in stock. As I've been looking at it. Out of interest what phone would you recommend most out of the ones your reviewed? I currently edging towards the Jiayu S3 Advanced (3gb version). But I've read that apparently it comes with malware installed on it. Have you come across this?

No I didn't have malware on mine, and if I had, I would just root the phone and remove the malware. But yeah the S3 is definitely a good choice.

That was exactly what I thought. Plus the S3 comes pre-rooted anyway, so you just have to enable it in the settings. It couldn't be any easier really. The only issue I'm having now is deciding where to buy it from. I've only ever used Merimobiles before. But I've read good things about Banggood and GearBest. Which would you recommend?

someone could post the original rom with the recovery.img ?
I bricked mine and to recover it i used a zeaplus m7 rom.
The zeaplus rom has less fonctions than the mijue.

- get VERY HOT whatever you do.
- battery life is extremly poor when using it.
- GPS is unusable.
- battery capacity is totaly fake.
- NO SUPPORT , no rom.

mine is totaly different
1 compared to the v1 of elephone p6000 (broken) and v2 p6000 the battery is much cooler is quite cool to the touch
2 my example has a more longer lasting battery they even gave me two covers one transparent and one s-cover clip on
3 i bought it at a later production run actually one whole month after the first gen phones where launched are you sure that phone is really a mijue and not a imitation even unknown phones are copied i think china does not know what copyright infringement actualy means?
4 my supplier never failed me yet can not vouch for other suppliers or customers every one has different experiences
dont like it move on or change you supplier for someone with a better reputation might give you better phones?
just a thought

Newest in this list is the Oukitel U6. Oukitel have already launched the U8, and are prepping launches of the subsequent U9 and U10. But the U6 is a bit of a surprise with dual screen displays. Full specifications of the phone will be announced next month, but what we do know for now is that the U6 will have a 5-inch front panel and a smaller 4.7-inch e-ink display on the back.
Oukitel go on to mention that the U6 “might be powered by MT6797 Helio X20 SoC which is unconfirmed yet”. Now, that would make the phone quite a powerhouse — but don’t bet your money on the device carrying the SoC yet.
You may remember Oukitel from our previous coverage of the Oukitel K10000 with its behemoth battery. The Oukitel U6 probably won’t have a 10,000mAh juice box, but it will have two displays with a 5-inch panel on the front and a 4.7-inch e-ink display on its back. The resolution wasn’t mentioned, but the smartphone may sport the deca-core chip known as the MediaTek MT6797.

I thought it would be able to use apps because you could use apps on the e-ink display on the Yotaphone.

The dual screen smartphone OUKITEL U6 features a 5.0' HD display with 1280x720 pixels and 4.7" QHD E-ink screen with 960x540 pixels. The E-ink paper touch screen is 16 grey level adjustment and 235 PPI pixel density.
The back screen only consumes low power when turning pages, thus saving much power and extends the battery life.
If the phone is just used for reading, it can support reading for 120hours after fully charged. And it can standby for 2 days after one time fully charged.

So can the elink display be used with android or is just for eBook?

I have complained because it is not normal for the battery hold out only 6hours without using the same for any type of activity.
2, I'm really satisfied with my phone, except for the ridiculous short battery durability.
3, This phone is great option for my budget. but battery is not suitable for this one. This Battary is run only 6 hrs normal usage. I think Doogee make another Powerful battery for this phone. We Couldn’t find more powered battery In this dimensions.
4, I'm two months with the smartphone Doogee phone, and I asked about the excessive consumption of the battery and the response has been that it was working on a new version of software, when will he get this update?
5, After testing the smartphone for a day, the battery is consumed in 5 hours with normal use whatsapp wifi connected and read, visit the web and download mail, it lasted only 5 hours or so.

2/11 @ 5/11 device ready & in stock, so how the battery performance exactly?!

F3 Pro has only 2200 mAh. P7000 is 3450mAh and it cannot go into deep sleep mode. It lasts only 5 hours under heavy use which is worst than F3 Pro.

I just received HT6. It is FANTASTIC and the battery is working really great!
Full charge from 0 to 100% is 2.5 hrs. It can last 7 days without minimal use. In fact, I believe it can last 10 days with no issue.
Under heavy use, it will last 2 days max which is better than any mobile in the market now at such price point.
Get one fast! It is better than HT7.

The HT6 is a great phone for this price. No need to run around with powerbanks anymore! Charging to a usable percentage is also very quick, so finally one of my pet peeves is solved! All we need to do now is get mtk6735 root to install Xposed and get rid of the launcher and other useless stuff to get this phone to it's full potential.
Edit: How in the world do you get the battery cover off? Is it possible at all?

UMI Super Edge will come with RAM 6GB, Android7.0 OS after UMI Super

According to the latest news from UMI, they will release the latest model, UMI Super edge with RAM 6GB, Android7.0 OS. It will use Samsung curved screen. It will release in second half of this year, i guess after Samsung released its curved screen phone, they will also presell it soon. Do you know other specs right now?

right now i just know UMI Super edge is possible to use Samsung Curved screen.

I have heard really good things about Umi's latest venture. I think by all accounts this will be their best yet. But saying that, they have let people down with specs that just were not there. And rumors are abound of another Version called the edge running android 7. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I think they need to release a phone that lives up to expectations though. 1 thing is for sure I would love to be on a list of people assigned an early release. It does sound like it will be 1 hellava phone

4GB.
6GB is the speculation for the EDGE version to have.
I ordered it last week, waiting for the delivery. cant wait

Hopefully this time they will make the phones that will work on the US 4G LTE networks

yeah, right now only HOMTOM HT10 supports global 4G LTE For US, Europe, Africa, Oceania, etc.

I'm using Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G LTE now that I can get the 4G in US... the weird thing is in US here when I called T-Mobile they told me about the 4G has 1900, 2100Mhz which Umi Super has but I guess the bands are different which I don't know different bands would have same Mhz...

When is the Edge hitting the net
I guess I cant say stores but when is it going uo for sale and how much is it supposed to be?
